The charcoal pit fills the entire restaurant with the mouth watering aromas of Charred's signature rotisserie chicken. The wings were big and I ordered breaded. Good choice! They were super delicious and meaty. I appreciated the three wet-naps! (even with the three wet naps, I managed to leave the place with sauce on my face lol) I chose a single order and I could have eaten a double order. I'll definitely be coming here for wings again. $5 off wings on Thursdays and Sundays all day!! Yay! The service was so pleasant which made for a great lunch experience. So happy with this place. It's somehow even worse now, maybe because I've been to several other local bars and pubs and they're all vastly better. The service is extremely slow. They don't even have a board listing drinks or specials, never mind a menu. Apparently there are no specials, presumably ever. (I guess they change the prices based on what they think they can get? Anyhow you basically have to play 'Have you got...' if you want anything that isn't a Molson etc). The most recent time I just left after having about 6 staff members walk past without asking if I wanted anything. Eventually an exasperated sounding waitress came over to tell me they didn't have a drinks menu after 10-15 minutes (there were three other tables; place was pretty empty), and I remembered my first visit, and just left. I ordered some Mozzarella sticks the first time. They weren't bad, or amazing. Then again its difficult to mess up fried, breaded cheese...

So I went here the other night while visiting Niagara Falls for a concert. By the time we made it…read moreout of the concert there wasn't a ton of options open at 1030pm, so my wife and I decided to get chicken wings and deep fried pickle spears at Wings up because they were still open until midnight according to the online profile that was updated by the business just a few weeks before that. My order, I thought, was pretty simple all together...honey garlic wings that are well done, and specified a couple times well done and the pickles. So I drive about 15 min to the restaurant, was given the order and sent on my way. I get back to my hotel room, open the wing box, and was left disappointed by what I saw. The wings in the box certainly didn't look well done. I thought, okay, I'll just try them because maybe they are deceiving...WRONG! What I took a bite of was some of the worst wings I've ever had. Anyone that ever thinks that the wings I was eating were well done they would have to have their head examined! I throw the wings back in the bag and rush off back to the restaurant as I wanted to get there before midnight when it closes to either get my money back or at least get a new order. While on the way back to the restaurant I start calling the restaurant and it just keeps ringing, and ringing, and ringing, with no one picking up the phone. I pull up to the restaurant that now looks completely dark and empty and I couldn't be more mad!!! I pull up to the front door and see that the time is now 11pm that they close! Wtf! How is it 11pm when the online profile, that as I remind you, was updated not but weeks before that says midnight! I'm convinced at this point that the workers purposely made the wings as quickly as possible because they knew I wouldn't be able to get back to the restaurant before it closes! So I get back to my hotel room, more mad than I've been in a long time, with no food and about $55 less in my bank account. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Don't ever go to Wings up in Niagara Falls, Ontario...

Had some time to kill before a show so decided to check it out. Cool little place, felt comfy and friendly with what seemed like regulars occupying the bar area. Food order was also taken quickly and took a super long time to arrive. Servers shift was done, we paid and were told a new server would be taking care of us. That never happened. As our glasses sat empty, the Mr. went up to the bar to grab another round. For some strange reason 2 beers at the bar were almost $2 more than what we just paid. That's not cool. The nachos were really good (although $4 for the very tiny side of chili was overpriced) beer was cold, but the service was disappointing. For that reason I'm not sure if I will be returning.

We ordered a BBQ chicken chop salad, the original hamont burger with fries, and two beers. Food took a while to come out. Salad was really fresh but I didn't know it came with beans, which I'm not a fan of. Burger was honestly a bit too salty and dry for me. I also tried asking for ranch for my fries but was told it's an additional $2CAD?! That's pretty expensive for someone from SoCal since sauce is usually free or at most 25 cents in LA. A few days ago we ordered pizza from here and after waiting longer than usual, the pizza arrived. I paid the guy, with tip of course, and went inside to eat cheesy goodness. When I got upstairs and opened it I found the pizza was not what we ordered and cold...not even warm. I come from the food industry and understand mistakes happen, so I called to let them know about the cold mistake. The girl who picked up was nice enough and told me that they will credit me and next time to just let them know...no problem, kind of weird that they didn't send out another pizza or even offer, but no problem, next pizza is free. That brings us to today, long day, Hey, why not order that free pizza. We call, before ordering remind them of the pizza credit and then place our order for the exact same pizza we were supposed to get last time (that was paid for in full, plus tip) to which they responded that the order wasn't enough.....Huh? They then said that I have to buy a min. of $13 before tax in order for them to deliver my pizza (that was already paid for, plus tip) At this point I was getting annoyed but tried to understand...I've already paid them for an order that was wrong and cold and in order for them to correct their mistake, I needed to pay more money? To witch I was told "that's the way it works!" Flabbergasted, I explained that in my life in the service industry, I have never even herd of this an that I don't think that that is in fact the way it does work. Her response was quick and unjust, she hung up on me. I must have ordered from there hundreds of times over the years, but I don't think I ever will again. I don't know if this is all very fresh or not, but what they did almost feels illegal. In a time when food insecurity is at an all time high and people are struggling to make ends meet, this business is charging customers for their mistakes. This type of behaviour should not be tolerated.
