It's colder than an igloo in there haha. Anyhoo, Hubby ventured into this place looking for a pool float & we found tons of amazing Beachy stuff here also. However, when we went to pay one of the items didn't have a price & the manager came over & gave it to us for half price bc it was the last one. He told us they are working on the AC & the ones in the store are just temporary. He was a very pleasant gentleman, very engaging and charismatic. LOVE people that love their jobs. We were so stoked we forgot the one thing we came in for. The toiletries! haha. There is a pretty prevalent homeless population that I feel like has had an impact on the sales of the store and the surrounding area not to mention. Amazon is taking over and eliminating a lot of businesses still there are a lot of sales going on in the store as they try to clear inventory.

Walgreens has a good operating system and knows when to break from it. The store is effectively laid out, well stocked, and clean. A line formed at the main register when I was there. Within a short time a person came by to invite some of the customers to check out at the register in the cosmetics department. The employees are friendly although it comes off as tilted more toward polite then personalized. Real good though. Far above the norm. Overall nice store, organized and clean, and nice employees.

Running a pharmacy is important work. People rely on the medications pharmacists provide,…read moresometimes for comfort, sometimes for aid, sometimes to avoid dying. These people are not worthy stewards of that responsibility. Last month I tried to call in a refill, and used their automated service, because it is very, very, very difficult to reach a person. The automated service assured me my prescriptions would be ready by Saturday, but once I showed up, they had no idea what I was talking about, and had to refer me to another pharmacy across town. OK. We all make mistakes. Not a huge deal. Yesterday I call in a refill, again using their automated service (because reaching an actual human being is so very, very, very difficult). Recalling my experience last month, I try to call today to reach someone to confirm the prescriptions will be ready tomorrow. At 12:50pm I'm put on hold, cautioned it may be a bit to reach a pharmacist. I endure thirty-five minutes of hold music, and messages assuring me my call is important, and I'll be reached ASAP. Thirty-five minutes later, at 1:25pm, a woman answers and says "Thank-you for calling Walgreens pharmacy, I need to place you on hold," and does so without waiting for my reply. Five minutes later, the phone begins ringing again, only to hang up after a couple of dozen rings because the pharmacy is now on lunch. Please, for god's sake, take your business anywhere else. It would be safer, more convenient, and reliable, to purchase your drugs from random strangers on the street, or to scour them from the dumpster behind the store. The people who run this pharmacy aren't just incompetent, they hate you, and will treat you accordingly. They don't deserve your money, respect, or patience, so please take all three elsewhere if you have any measure of self-respect or self concern.
