I'm in here all the time-as I'm sure you've noticed. They have the ultimate selection of wines and liqueurs. (I'm not a beer person, but I'll bet they excel in this category, too). The staff is so helpful... and there are so many fun gift items and gift bags. They have snacks and some charcuterie items, too. The store is spacious and clean, with a festive feel year-round. There are regular tasting opportunities-and they bring in fun new bottles, throughout the year. You never know what you'll find. That especially held true in December of 2025. Which brings me (finally) to my second paragraph. I was 24 hours from throwing my annual holiday party--something I look forward to, every year. Last year, my Bartesian drink maker was a huge hit. I was excited to set it up with the new seasonal flavors I'd just purchased. But something was wrong with the machine. I needed a replacement, stat. Total Wine had one-at a great price-ready to go. Why am I having so many issues here lately? Their prices are not updated, they end up charging more at the register so be careful. There was a five dollar rebate and their code did not work. The manager said I have to buy the item 1st, and that did nothing. No five dollar rebate as promised. And then when I check out the cashier double rigs one of my items and won't let me see what she rang up. But I demanded to see the register then she catches her own mistake. I kept feeling so many problems in one visit. This place has really gone downhill. read more

While visiting parents the Valrico/Brandon, FL, stopped in for a few wines. Red's for me and Muscato for mom. Walked this store and it's small; about 1/4th the size of the Laurel, MD store. But ... they have a great selection of just about everything you'd need from the Al Cohol family. I found all three reds I like from home and two of the muscatos. I did the wine and cheese pairing/tasting. Our specialist Ana was great at hosting and going through all the different cheeses and wines. She has a lot of knowledge and provided great recommendations for us. For $20 this is a great value and awesome experience. Along with the wine and cheese were a spread of crackers, fruit (grapes, strawberries), nuts, figs, and jelly spreads. It is also 2 hours long so it's good for a girls day, solo date, or date with your partner. They also offer different types of tastings like bourbon and other wine tastings without cheese. Both were super delicious and priced between 10 to 15 dollars. This location was insanely large and in impeccable shape. Clean and signage everywhere. The staff here was very visible and willing to assist without any hesitation. I was like a kid in a candy shop. I was intrigued by all the wine varieties, spirits, cool gizmos, cups, martini Keurig, and etc. The biggest bonus for me was mentioned to me by a lovely representative there named Mr.Maurice he allowed me to see where the wine tasting area was and was super informative. This location host wine tasting that you can partake in and can actually request to hold an event if needed. This place was decked out in a warm wooden decor and super pleasant on the eyes. I so wish this was my local store it's honestly a fave of mine now. If your ever in the area I would definitely recommend it. Prices are very far and the selection here is wide. When I come here, I usually spend close to 2 hours, looking at all the options and then filling my cart. Wines are here from every country and every style. Prices range from a few dollars to very expensive. There are aisles and aisles of red and whites and it's fun to try different ones each time I shop. I keep notes so that I remember my favorites. Their vodka section has so many brands and flavors that it is mind boggling. You can buy individual bottles or cans of beer as well as hard cider. It's fun to put your own six pack together. I come here all the time and sometimes with my younger brother who is 21 and I have never been harassed inside one of your locations before. And as a regular customer this makes me want to take my business elsewhere. So I get off work from the Car wash right across the street I come over to total wine grab my normal 6 pack of Abitas I go to check out and instead of my usual warm greeting I was met with a very unfriendly and rude woman named Erica who immediately demanded my ID and even called for the manager to check my ID. As a regular I should not have to be made me feel like a criminal for trying to buy a 6 pack. Your employee Erica definitely needs some coaching on how to talk to customers and make them feel welcome even when you have to ask for an ID because based on meeting Erica she is a 0/10 customer service. I have no issue providing ID to someone without a terrible attitude but when a cashier (Erica) makes a customer feel like a criminal for spending money in your store then something needs to be changed. read more

I love the fact that there's a total wine in Brandon now! I used to have to go all the way into Tampa by the Bucs stadium to shop there. That location is great too if I happen to be on that side of town. The Brandon location pretty much has the same selections as the others do. They feature a huge collections of different types of craft beers, wine, spirits, related gift items, etc. This particular one features a permanently installed, decent sized tasting station in the back. On some Saturdays, I like to go to the different sample stations they have throughout the store to try out and learn about each different selection. I love Total Wine and this location is very conveniently located near my work. I often pop over for my alcohol purchases and I'm never disappointed. They have a great rewards program that keeps me coming back. The selection is also out of this world. They have a vast array of beer, wine, and liquor and I have never not been able to find what I'm looking for. They also have kegs and can get pretty much whatever type of beer you want. A very cool place for drinkers or cigar smokers. They have everything from "Budweiser" to "that one kind of beer you had on vacation 5 years ago and haven't been able to find it since". If they make it, it's probably here. And while the Budweiser may be cheaper at publix, you will find a much bigger variety here. With the coupons coming in my mailbox, and the stress of the workday, why wouldn't I go to total wine? They also have a large humidor of cigars and an aisle of snacks to go with your drinks. Come here with a plan or you will wander for an hour completely overwhelmed with choices. At least decide if you are going for beer, wine or liquor so that you know where to start. This was my first experience with Total Wine & More. I have to admit that I was a bit overwhelmed when I first entered the store. There's a map at the entrance that is very useful because there is so much to see. I ended up going through each aisle so I could get a feel of what they currently have in stock. It's quite a selection! I was hoping to find the brand of wines that I've had the pleasure of sampling while traveling through Europe. I didn't find what I was looking for in the wine sections, but they do have other brands within those different regions that looked interesting. A huge selection for each region. I've never seen anything like it before. I was also very impressed with the section of liqueur on the back wall of the store. These were divided up by type. I had been looking for Becherovka (it's a rarity in the States) since tasting it in Prague on a tour. I knew they had it because I found it recently on their website. I finally found it in the store after asking one of the team members for assistance. She was very helpful! I suggest doing a search of their online offerings, or asking for assistance if you don't initially find what you're looking for. What you're looking for could be in the warehouse, or in another section of the store. This product happened to be on the back wall, but at the very bottom of the shelf. I was super happy with this purchase. It's very hard to find. I was also very happy with my Lillet Blanc purchase (a recent discovery for me). I've found that I really like this dessert aperitif wine on the rocks with a slice of lemon. They have a very nice selection of craft beers as well. You can create your own 4 or 6 pack (mix & match). They also have sections dedicated to seasonal, imported, and special releases. I did create my own 6 pack using the $2 coupon from the grand opening mailer to purchase it. It was a great deal. However, I prefer the selections from another specialty store over the ones I found here. It's just a preference. I'm looking forward to going back for hard to find wine, liqueur, and more. They really do have so many other things in this store that I can't even list at the moment. It truly is a great exploration. This is an excellent Total Wine location!! The store is enormous and they typically are well stocked with whatever you are looking for. The staff is always willing and ready to help with location of products and suggestions if you want to try something new. The prices are outstanding and make sure that you join their email club because you'll get coupons constantly! The store has a ton of great craft beer (more rare stuff than the Tampa location) and the layout is very welcoming. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! It is like any wine lovers dream. Also a wonderful selection of liquors as well. When I first came in here I swear i spent at least two hours in here wondering each aisle. While I was wandering I came upon a samples station that was giving out samples of bourbon. I enjoy different types of liquors and like to keep a nice variety in my home for events so being able to sample some new ones to add to my inventory was great. Went to this location today after a trip to Costco, around the corner mind you; to spend money and will never shop there again. So many things locked up and limits on specific items. When I asked for a particular champagne, it was limit one. I asked "why", the store person looked me in my eye and said "Because people buy it and resell it." I was appalled. I could easily get this champagne at Publix and purchase at least 2 of each because we like it. You'd think it was Dom Pérignon! It was a $25 bottle of Prosecco dressed as champagne, but we enjoy it. Not a very welcoming experience and certainly not that answer. I also asked for another locked up version of not so expensive spirits; again same thing. Maybe invest in security if you have a theft problem, but when customers are willing to spend their hard earned money on items they want to PURCHASE, it shouldn't be an experience of don't come back, because we won't. Ever. We went to the location in Miami recently and had none of these types of shenanigans. I wound up spending over $100 but could have spent more, but I'll just go to Publix next time. read more
