Staff is VERY FRIENDLY-- Marcus, who is the resident expert on booze; funny, older Mike whom I have had the pleasure of teaching w/; and younger Mike. ALL three are friendly & helpful. (There may be other staffers, but on my 5 visits, these are who I've met & w/ whom I've spoken.) Check out the PICS. Should you want stocking stuffers, there's a front, center bin of mini alcoholic beverages that start @ $1.29. There are additional mini bottles behind the counter-- all under $4, if I recall correctly. Cigarettes are also available. Patrons can opt for Delivery (in as fast as an hour) as well as pick-up. Publix Liquors follows the same sale schedule; there are new offerings weekly (Wednesdays). This past week included Sugarland's Sippin' Cream (liqueur) @ just under $22 a bottle; it was a BOGO. Dark Chocolate Coffee, Banana Pudding, Strawberry Cream, & Butter Pecan were the choices. I also picked up Luxus Fine Vodka on sale, as well as Bailey's Almande (made w/ Almond Milk). I've purchased many other alcoholic beverages from this location. Whether it's wine, beer, spirits, accessories, gift bags, cigarettes, and/or lottery tickets you want, you'll likely find each here. Alcoholic Gift Sets are also available. The shelves are excellently organized & labeled. Upon checkout, bottles are packed in the standard Publix brown plastic bags, but cardboard dividers are added. Should you require a restroom, you'll need to go into the Publix store next door. Publix offers a liquor store DDISCOUNT. Purchase eight or more bottles to receive 10% off. Applies only to regularly priced bottles size 750 ML, 1-L, & 1.75 ML. It excludes Specials. Cash, checks, credit, debit, & NFC mobile payments are accepted. You can tell she puts a lot of time into the selections, makes printed guides for what's available to try, and comes up with mixed drinks & recipes. It's always been such a hit and what brings everyone I know into the store, but lately it has been too inconsistent. I used to rely on it being every single month on the last Thursday, but now that it's not monthly, I never know when it is. I don't usually make it into the store outside of these tastings, so there is no way for me to know when they are. When it was consistent, I had it planned out every month. Daniell has become more than our wine lady, she is now our wine mom. We look forward to seeing her every monthly wine tasting. We are learning and listening to his amazing stories about his travels. Bethany picked a tequila for us to try that was the best I've ever had at a tasting. Anthony is ready with our tasting glasses and to ring us up as soon as we walk in. He's always helpful with any questions we have. You may be able to tell that we only go in the store during the tastings, it's when we get to try new products and purchase our wine and liquor for the month. The fact that it's been so irregular lately is disappointing. It was always so popular when it was happening regularly, now no one knows when it's happening.
