Would give zero stars if I could. Always go here for prescriptions because it's close to home. They ALWAY mess up refills. Yesterday I had back surgery and was given a prescription for pain. We go straight to the pharmacy and get there 15 minutes before closing. Daughter tells them the situation and they refuses to fill the prescription because they didn't have enough time Drive to CVS tell them the situation they had the prescription filled in 10 minutes and told my daughter I hope your dad feels better soon. These scumbags are partnered with Any Time Towing, which is a scam where they see you pull into the parking lot, watch you walk into the store, then tow your car. We even had a receipt from the store and when we came out we saw our car being towed away. $285 later, Anytime towing did not care that we were IN THE STORE, and Walgreens said sorry, but nothing we can do for you. Screw them and their scam. NEVER shop there or it could cost you hundreds of dollars and you will be without your car overnight, and then they will charge you two days storage. Old man at the liquor store yelled at me because my debit card didn't work and said it was my generations fault. Then went off about our generation while he is straight up so rude while we tried to be polite. I work retail and if I talked to a customer like that I would be terminated. This is a very small branch of Walgreens and they don't sell liquor. The drugstore section has all your essentials but it's a little cramped so sometimes hard to find what you need. On the plus side, a helpful pharmacy assistant came and gave advice on the best treatment for my complaint. I would return here, but I'm sure there are better locations nearby if you have time to drive. read more

This Walgreens is easy to get in and out of. If you are on vacation they will have most items you need while visiting the island. Glad they allow small dogs, while being carried. This store will not make you wait in line! Unlike most Walgreens, they will call customers over to the beauty counter for check out. Look for Jackie at this counter and you are guaranteed good service. She will let you know what the sales are too!! Ps, The liquor store is located next door. read more

As far as Walgreens goes, you have to like this one! The location is directly on the beach in central Treasure Island. The parking lot is free and they have a lot of spaces. I hear they don't ever tow. Shhh. The place is super clean and stacked with all your normal drug store needs as well as everything you need to enjoy a beach stay or pick up as a local. Jackie works in cosmetics and she is absolutely hilarious on top of being super helpful and sweet. I am definitely a fan of this Walgreens. read more

Your standard Walgreens with a section dedicated to beach stuff, like chairs and inflatables. We stopped in during our vacation to pick up some essentials that we had forgotten. Caveat: it's very poorly organized - tourist trinkets are everywhere, so standard items are a bit of a challenge to find. The pharmacy has continued to be a let down. I switched to cvs on st Pete beach , they are amazing they have my RX ready before I even leave the doctors office. My insurance doesn't take them anymore so I had to switch. Needed a rx for a possible blood infection from a puncture wound the doc wanted me on it asap. Three days later this Walgreens had it ready.. needless to say I switched to public which has been wonderful so far read more

My Daughter just had a baby 3 days ago. Should be happy days, until you experience Walgreens customer service. (or lack of) My daughters scripts were called in about 10 am yesterday. She called Walgreens to ask a question and to find out if order was filled about 2 hours later, they said yes, it was ready. At about 7 pm we went down to pick it up to find out it was not filled. Of course my daughter is in pain 3 days after having her C section and now we have to wait even longer, but to make matters worse, they refused to take her Medicaid insurance and the other primary insurance they "claim" to have an issue with also. So I had to pay cash for entire bill. We wanted to transfer to script to another pharmacy but one was a narcotic so it couldn't be transferred. How convenient. Every time I come here the people are rude, they don't have the meds in stock and now they cant process an ins when they have all the info they need. NEVER again Walgreens read more

It's a smaller Walgreens that meets my needs usually, but has not always had the sale ad items in the store. It has a lot of tourist items for folks to take home and a small liquor store. I shop at this location first because it's close to home and a 24 hours store. We want it to stay in TI. Yet if I want certain items from the weekly ad I also end up shopping at the So. Pasadena location. The staff is friendly and parking in their lot is easy. It's in a great location on Gulf Blvd. There's also 2 more stores in St. Pete Beach. read more
