Coming from a state that doesn't allow beer sold at retail stores, I had heard "Beer Caves" are a thing, that exist, but there's no way I was bothering looking for a good craft beer at a gas station. Well that assumption was incorrect, and this Rally gas station has a great selection of craft beers, occupying both the frigid "cave" and most of its room temperature non-cave environs. I visit this place at least once a week. The alcohol selection is one of the best in the Tampa Bay area, hands down. They carry my favorite meads and ciders, and they're always getting something new. Besides that, it's a gas station which is pretty straight forward, but they also have sandwiches and salads made to order, pizzas, and an Einstein Bros Bagels just opened inside which is better than a separate location because they are smaller and make things on the spot. read more

Great selection of craft brews. Was a bit bummed though because they only sold the Victory brand "Golden Monkey" in a can..... never seen it in a can! If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I'm new to the area and I've been here several times over the last couple of weeks. I've never been more impressed with a gas station store. The entire staff is so nice and friendly. The wine and beer sections are awesome and the prices are very fair. The hot food section is a must try. I've had their breakfast pizza, breakfast burrito, and for lunch I've had the quesadilla. They are all delicious!! And you can't beat the prices. There is a section of cheese blocks and not only are the options great but the prices are better than the grocery store. You've got to go here! read more

Atypical from other Rally gas stations, this place is almost like a beer haven. My buddy is pretty big into craft beers. He literally spent a sold 20mins browsing through their selection looking for any rare beers to bring back to South Florida. The selection is impressive for a gas station/convenience store. 4 stars for the gas prices and beer selection This service station always has a decent selection of beer and low gas prices. They also have 20 pumps so you'll rarely wait in line for gas. The beer prices are ok for craft beers and cheaper than Shep's. The real negative is the location - it's right on the corner of 22nd Ave and 4th street. It's late, and my friend and I are looking for a gas station. St. Pete has changed significantly for the better, but there are still some scary places. We passed by one, and random people were hanging around the pumps. Another station was closed at 10 pm. Rally was well lit, clean, fairly priced, and felt safe. Many cars were here, either for gas or to go to the convenience store inside. Compared to what's available, this location should have five stars, not 3.5. read more

We used to live a few blocks from here and really liked this place - they had good beer and food for a gas station ... however, stopped by today and found that you have to ask for a key for the women's bathroom but not the men's! WTF? My 4 year old had to wait almost 10 minutes while someone else was in the bathroom (only to find out there was more than one stall that could have been used if it hadn't been kept locked). For those of you with kids, you know how much fun that was. Clear discriminatory treatment of men and women (plus every employee I saw was a woman making this bathroom disparity even more ridiculous). Shame on the management for this!! read more

Love the chain, but the condition of the coffee station leave me very disappointed. As an avid coffee drinker. This is an area I pay a great deal of attention to. Being that this area is usually one of this largest areas of revenue for a store of this type it tells me a lot about the staff and the management. If you want craft beer while your pumping gas this is the place to be! They have a HUGE selection of craft beer it's SO insane! They have craft beers that are both local to Tampa Bay, Florida, and everywhere else in the U.S. They have an awesome create your own 6 pack selection ranging from ciders, sours, lagers, stouts, porters, belgians, and IPA's! They also have a back fridge room stocked top to bottom with both domestic and craft beer. I find myself never spending less than 15-30 minutes in here looking at the wide variety of beers they have. Seriously... this is a convenience store? Rally is one of the nicest convenience stores I've ever been to. It's in a great spot, located on the corner of 4th and 22nd, so it's very easy to hit on your way out of town, especially if you're headed to the interstate, making it a great place to pick up last minute snacks, or fill up the tank, since they generally have some of the cheapest gas in the area. The inside is clean, well-stocked, and has some cool people working behind the register. Of course you will find your usual fare, candy bars and chips, sodas and energy drinks, tobacco, a few auto care items... The beer selection is awesome. I wasn't even drinking, but I had to go into the walk in beer cooler just to check it out... impressive, definitely a place to stop in late night to replenish your suds. There's also a coffee shop in the corner serving up lots of different choices, although that's only open for a few hours in the morning. There's a sub sandwich store on another side that's open most of the day, offering up subs, sandwiches, and more at a decent price, made fresh, and pretty darn tasty. About the same price you'd pay for one out of the cooler, but way better. Definitely one of the finest convenience stores in the area, maybe even the state. Clean, well-stocked, cheap gas, friendly employees, and lots of choices to get your snack and drink on. Can't ask for anything more than that! read more

If you're getting beer and/or gas, this is five stars. I don't buy coffee or food from gas stations, nor should you. Stick to that life lesson and you're golden. As you can see from other reviews, the craft beer selection is "hopin'". My favorite thing to do, when I'm feeling lively, is to get the mixed/match six pack. It's a pretty good deal. But sometimes, I don't feel like mixing it up much and I'll go into the beer closet (there ya go! All you need is a beer closet to get 5 stars!) and grab a sixer of my favorite stout or ale. So, I'm a little thirsty right now, can't you tell? The main reason I really go here is because it's frequently on my way back from downtown on the right side of the road. The prices are always competitive and the station is always clean and safe. It can be a bit crowded and difficult to get around but that doesn't keep me away, nor should it you. read more

Awesome beer selection. If I don't fill the growler at a local brewery I go to Rally on 22nd every weekend. Almost always I end up doing hte Build-a-6pack for $9.99. Cant beat that! Unlike publix there's a huge selection of single beers available for these including lots of limited edition and seasonal brews. Overall the rest of the store is always clean and the staff is always friendly. Gas prices here aren't as cheap as WaWa but not bad. read more

Update. Manager finally reached out to me and refused to fix my car. He claims his car wash is incapable of scratching cars due to it being high tech and some other arrogant mumbo jumbo that made no sense to me. He tried to convince that it got scratched somewhere else after I told him it was her first ever wash. Apparently, he believes that some supernatural phenomenon caused the scratches. read more

Just a gas station? No. I'm a beer snob and have traveled for a good pint. This Rally is always my go to when I'm looking for a specific beer. Zach is all-knowing when it comes to the selection the store has. If they don't have it, Zach always finds it (if the brewery distributes to the area). He has a genuine interest in good beer and is great to talk to for recommendations. Great atmosphere if you walk in at noon or at 3am. I've lived in DTSP for the past 3 years and I've not found a better place for well-priced, good selection of craft beer. read more
