Coming from a state that doesn't allow beer sold at retail stores, I had heard "Beer Caves" are a thing, that exist, but there's no way I was bothering looking for a good craft beer at a gas station. Well that assumption was incorrect, and this Rally gas station has a great selection of craft beers, occupying both the frigid "cave" and most of its room temperature non-cave environs. Lots of really great finds here, and they even have a 6 pack mix and match option.

When I think of Speedway I think retro, since this is not the most common brand any longer, when I…read morepulled into this location I was disappointed to see how worn this place ready is. The fueling islands are really outdated although they seemed to have under gone some techie upgrades - I'm only referring to the card reader and cheap aftermarket monitor that has some undistinguishable advertising loop of course. Like any other petroleum vendor the prices are the maximum allowable by law since competitive pricing is no longer a business model in this country, the prices are set by big oil, the days of efficient operations that allow a competitive edge no longer apply hence why we don't refer to these C-Stores as "Service Stations" any longer. The fuel pumps are beat - they are dirty and unless you read the prices from the large elevate sign next to the road it's doubtful you know the price per gallon. Now for what I absolutely hate - the pumps shuts off at $100 the disclaimer is "your banking intuition may limit the amount you can purchase" well that's a total lie I have no restrictions on my credit line - my F-150 has a 36 gallon tank x 3.399 per gallon that equals $122.364 not that I'll allow my fuel tank to get that low but I normally do pump more than 30 gallons so unless I want to swipe twice I can't fill up here, oh I can swipe twice without calling my bank I don't think so...
