I've always seen Wawa in passing and never thought much of it. Typical gas station and gas station convenience store options. I decided to stop at a Wawa specifically for gas during my trip in Largo and check out their coffee. Wow am I pleasantly surprised! It's not Starbucks of course but for brewed coffee, it is incredible. I tried the regular roast and the blueberry cobbler and both were great! I love the coffee bar section, they have all kinds of sugar options and all kinds of creamer options. I take a lot of sugar and creamer with my coffee. They have dairy free creamer, whole milk, reduced fat milk, half and half, vanilla , caramel, hazelnut, powder and even almond milk creamer! Their food and snacks options are amazing! I heard their sandwiches are good. I didn't try any but they do look fresh. And to top it out they have great kiosks for lottery tickets and also they have self checkout kiosks for those that want to avoid long lines to check out. I would stop here in all my travels and if I have close to home, I would stop in for my coffee on the run.

We stopped in for gas, the restroom and some snacks prior to heading back home to the East Coast of Florida from Clearwater. The shop was clean and well staffed. The staff all wore masks and were visibly cleaning. The restrooms were about as clean as one would expect of a very busy gas station heading toward the interstate. (Certainly not what I would expect of a restaurant, mall store, museum etc.) WaWa has just about anything you'd need for a road trip. Lots of soft drinks, snacks, Red Bull, medicines and hot food. A true convenience store! I love that they use ApplePay and other kinds of touchless purchase options. The attendant was friendly enough-her job is to get people in and out quickly. She asked if we needed a bag and told us to have a great day. What else can you expect of a busy gas/convenience store?

Finally, Wawa has entered the Largo area. It now joins the three other gas stations on or near the intersections of Ulmerton and Starkey Rds. As many of us know Wawa is much more than just a gas station. It is the "Cadillac" of service/convenience/gas stores to hit our Tampa Bay market. The upscale electronic touch pad makes ordering a snap. The food menu is quite extensive too. Starting with the breakfast hoagies, bowls, and burrito's. To the hot food menu that has some item changes every day. Nine different soups, and of course the hoagies (6 and 10 inch), sandwiches, clubs, and quesadilla's. Top all this off with freshly made smoothies, hot or iced lattes, or pour your own hot coffees, and you have an all you need food stop. Oh yes, they sell gas here too! So why would I rate a "gas station" 5 stars?? Because "there's no place like Wawa!"

Free air!! I can never get over this.

WAWAAAA ~!! I live right down the road from all the gas stations, and I was super duper excited to see a Wawa being built here. I was even more excited when it finally opened. There's three other gas stations located on a small stretch of Ulmerton: Rally's, Thornton's, and Racetrac down towards 66th. Even though I live closer to Racetrac I will choose to drive that extra block to turn into Wawa. Why? Well, I'm so glad you asked! 1) Gas. 95% of the time Wawa has the lowest price in its neighborhood. That is one of the main attractions. But unlike other gas stations, it doesn't end there! 2) Food service. I personally think that this is Wawa's main source of revenue. Order from a touch screen menu, customize your order to your liking, receive your bill to pay, and wait for your delicious food. It's really cool and convenient, and if you haven't eaten at Wawa's yet, I most definitely recommend it. They serve breakfast, lunch, smoothies, coffee drinks, and more. You can even sit outside and enjoy your meal before getting back on the road. 3) FREE AIR. Need to fill up your tires? Go here. Seriously. 4) Convenience. If you don't feel like ordering hot food, they have make-ready hot foods next to the registers, relatively healthy cold foods in the center, and fountain drinks, bottled beverages, and other snacks ready for the taking. Of course, the prices for these items are similar to other convenience stores, but Wawa designs its interiors so cleverly that it's almost to attractive to deny. They also sell cigarettes. Seriously, make way for the new kid in town. Wawa is here to stay.

This is my first negative Google review ever but she earned it... I came outside and immediately got on my phone and it made me feel better to say something about the terrible service. My credit card did not go through on the first try and she literally said she was going to end the transaction because there's nothing she could do if I have no money in my account. I said can you please try it again maybe on another register because I'm positive there's money in my account and she rolled her eyes and literally started yelling at me that she would have to rering everything up. Mind you there were zero other people in the store and I only had about 20 items. I apologized for the inconvenience and it didn't even phase her she just kept me and rude. I asked her to please stop yelling at me and she yelled that she's not yelling at me. Was slamming my items on the counter and said she can just cancel this whole transaction. Crazy ridiculous. This is not a personal attack on her this is a factual statement of i blatant rudeness. Come on Walgreens you can do better. Maybe she was having a bad day but I'm still dumbfounded by her getting so mad and yelling at me about having to do her job. There was literally no one else in the store. Zero stars and I will never be back to this Walgreens. I might not go to any Walgreens for at least a year this was pretty off putting.

I wanted to order everything as usual so I can try everything but stuck to the following items: a Torta de Milanesa de Res, a Carne Asada Burrito, a Carne Asada Taco and a Al Pastor Taco. Ok the positive for sure was the Torta! It was large, the bread was soft the time and love made into that Torta was worth noting. The layers of Avocado, Cheese, Milanesa and even Jalapenos' was great! The big miss was the Al Pastor as not only was it dry but it truly lacked flavor. Also, the Tortillas de Maize are definitely different down here. I'm not sure what it is but it almost tastes flavorless. I can't figure it out. The salsas provided was great and while there was tortilla chip options (I know they don't belong in a true Taqueria) I just got some Tostadas instead. I would come back here and did appreciate the store portion where you can buy some candy, pantry items, packaged items, beer, etc. There is plenty of parking lot parking here!

When I entered, there were at least a dozen people waiting to check out and one of the two registers. This place is popular with the local Hispanic community! I saw one couple order some kind of fruit concoction at the kitchen window in back. It was like a supersized fresh fruit cocktail that was a good foot in height and stuffed in to a large cup. Wow it was a lot of fruit! Next time I'm hungry, we will have to try it! Life is good with local Hispanic groceries! Man cannot live on Walmart or Publix alone!
