We both ordered the Double Steakburger with cheese along with supersize fries and chocolate shakes. Overall, we had a great meal! The fries were delicious, the burgers were tasty and the shakes were awesome! You don't interact with any humans except for the person who hands you your food. I gave up on Steak 'n Shake in 2019 after too many absurd wait times at the drive thru. After a busy Home Depot shopping trip, I thought I'd give them another chance by placing an order inside. Wow, they made significant changes after Covid. I placed a to-go order at a kiosk and while the place was busy, my burger was ready in just 5 minutes. It was hot, tasty, and quite excellent. So while I always loved their burgers, it was the horrible service that drove me away. It seems this location has made great improvements in service and I looking forward to coming back! read more

Antwain needs to be retrained or let go for calling me names in drive thru because I wanted a refund because they couldn't make the shake correctly and the refund receipt wasn't for the full amount and he proceeded to complain that I was arguing over 66 cents and I told him that's on him for not telling the customer before charging and not refunding the correct amount and he proceeded to tell me here's the money since I desperately need it so much and called me a b*tch. Today was a good experience. Sat at the counter. We both ordered the Original Double Steakburger with cheese which was on special for $3.99 including two sides and a cookie. Shay was working the counter and also the register. She was calm and professional during the stressful lunch hour, our food was delivered in a reasonable time and she ensured everything was ok. Our family had dinner here tonight. We had four adults and four children 4 and under. Most parents would understand just how chaotic it can be to go anywhere with young children. It can be overwhelming for the kids just as much as it can be for the adults. Lately we have been struggling with both of my daughters severe allergies and they were just switched to a new medication that hasn't quite started working to it's maximum effectiveness. So both of my daughter have a terrible barking cough that gets more agitated in the car. When we arrived my daughters cough was very agitated as we were trying to order, we are pretty diligent about making sure she coughs into the crook of her elbow. Unbeknownst to us another patron had gotten very upset that my daughters were there in her presence because "she had surgery in the morning". She demanded to speak to a manager to have us removed from the restaurant. Now I say unbeknownst because Norma shut this woman's behavior down very quickly. So quickly we had no idea it had even happened. Norma made sure that the rest of our experience was a 5 star experience and it was. We need more wonderful people in this world like Norma! read more

I had THE weirdest experience with this Steak N Shake. My grandmother sent me to pick up dinner for 3 and gave me a $20 gift card and a $20 bill to pay. My total came to $21 and some change. I finally get up to the window (hello slooow Steak N Shake lines) and this guy immediately gets very flirty, hanging out the window...like uncomfortable, make your skin crawl type of flirting. I let him know that there was almost enough to cover the bill on the gift card and the cash was for the remainder. He acted totally shifty ringing things up and then walked away. No change given. Nothing. He comes back nearly 5 minutes later with one of the 2 milkshakes I ordered and my tea. I asked him for my change and he pulls the gift card out of his pocket and gives it back to me. No receipt. Puzzled, I asked where my $18 in cash is and why he's even giving me the gift card back? He fumbles around like he doesn't understand what's going on and then says he misunderstood and paid with the cash first and THEN the gift card...but there was $15 left on the card. Um, no. That would mean that I OVER paid, Casanova. He finally has to go get his manager because I insisted he fix his mistake and give me the proper amount of cash back. The manager was clearly completely confused by whatever story Casanova told him. I was even more confused when he gave me the full $20 back AND the card with $15 still on it. I told him that I didn't understand, that my change should be $18 and some change and the gift card empty. He got another confused look on his face and then insisted that it was right and not to worry about it. When I got back home and looked at the receipt, that HE gave me, I realized that I had only been charged for one cheeseburger meal. There seemed to be a shift change at that moment and all new people came in. I was still waiting, with all our food, for that second milkshake. My entire drivethru experience took 36 minutes. While I'm totally use to Steak NShake drivethru being slow, this was completely ridiculous. I'm also convinced that Casanova was trying to pull a fast one and pocket that $20 in cash. While our meals only cost us $5, they were terrible. Because we waited so long for his shady mistake to be dealt with and then for the final milkshake, all the food was cold and the first milkshake half melted. Beyond frustrating. read more

Largo's Steak'nShake is a must add to your routine. The staff is usually overly friendly and helpful for with the kiosk ordering process, if needed. The one employee ( or possibly owner) makes it fun to pick up your order at the counter. Say your name on your order is Roy, when order is ready, she'll announce Roy "Rogers" your order is ready. Fun and whitty. The shakes are excellent and reasonably priced, especially at happy hours when 1/2 priced. Best burgers that ive found anywhere in Florida. Cant beat the $4.44 deals. I actually like this location food wise and had an enjoyable meal today. We went thru the drive thru and they have added picnic tables which we took advantage of on a beautiful day which was actually really nice. Burgers were fresh, the fries hot and the early bird shake special made it perfect. They have a new process if you have the App if you order on the app and park in the assigned carhop spot they deliver it out to your car. We didn't do that because we didn't realize it, but might be easier than the drive thru next time. I don't know if the Dining Room is open but that in the past has always been a downfall here as it is really slow service so we quit eating inside but with the next picnic tables and beautiful weather I will eat here more often. read more

WORSE SERVCIE EVER!!! This is not about the food but the worst service ever. I pulled up and was asking my husband if he wanted a burger. The voice in the microphone said, "We are out of those." and laughed and then said, "We are out of everything." Then said, "Just kidding." and laughed again. Not very professional. Quick but unfriendly. First time getting into a stake an shake. The floors and the chairs where very sticky. The service was awful, the server couldn't wait a minute for me to order what type of shake I want it... and proceeded to say I will just bring you a water... I did said is my first time here, and no reaction whatsoever, He didnt suggested food or shakes... Then after we order he brought the food which was so disappointing I couldn't find a way to take a nice looking picture of it. He even brought a receipt out , maybe this is a standard thing again I have never been there before but my husband wanted to order a shake for him for dessert but didnt even get to request more coke because the server never acknowledged us again. This is another place that I haven't been to in years. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised on the value, cleanliness, and prompt service. I had a cup of their Deluxe chili that was pretty good. Onions, cheddar 'n jack cheese made for a tasty appetizer. For my burger I chose the Bacon'n cheese double steak burger with smoked bacon, mmmm! This was all washed down with a classic Mocha shake that was very good. Good value, good favors. An older gentleman with obvious mobility issues was at the table next to us and he helped him out to his car with his carryout bag and drink.
