The staff is friendly and they clearly do what they can to handle the uptempo pace for Lambert Airport. Decent snacks and amazing bartenders who are friendly and one of the more sociable lounges I've been to. They need to expand. read more

Such a cute little lounge! The woman checking us in was very sweet and informative. Unfortunately they were short staffed so there wasn't much food out for us to pick through, and it didn't look like there was a bartender. One of the worst lounge I have been to. The space is very nice and bright. But it is not managed well. It is dirty here. The workers are very slow to be collecting used dishes, nor filling up food. the coffee machine is out of order, and so is the soda machine. The floor is littered with trash, especially under the chairs. The carpet is stained. Selection of food is very poor for the food that's barely there. There are "salad" of browned shredded lettuce and shredded cheese- about a cup left of each. There are some tiny sandwiches. There are four left and there is no one refilling the food bar. Hot food is this yucky chicken noodle soup. There is about a half inch left in a crock pot. You get the idea. read more

Oh boy, where do I start? Beer costs $5. Apparently you can get some complimentary well liquor, but they don't have club soda or sparkling water for mixers. There is a soda machine for mixing your own drinks. The food options consisted of potato chips, wilted lettuce and a couple Hawaiian rolls. I've used this place since it opened. I'm so happy it is in STL and I like going to it before a flight. Some days it's great, other days straight mediocre. There's one good bartender, other days it's painful to get a drink. They just don't care. They close an hour early most days which is frustrating. Just change your hours!! Also they close when a Lufthansa flight comes in and don't allow passengers from other destinations to enter the lounge until that flight is about to depart. But let's break it down: you get food and drinks (liquor, beer, wine, coffee, soda), free WiFi connection, outlets, and plenty of surface space if you need to get work done. Say you stay around the terminal: 4 bucks for a coffee, maybe twenty for eating, you don't have WiFi for your laptop unless you pay. Suddenly paying for the lounge doesn't sound so bad, does it? Then factor in how fee places around the terminal give you table space to work. Let me be clear: the food selection in the lounge is not going to get a Michelin Star, and you are expected to pay for the better brands of liquor, beer and wine. But if you're going to be at the terminal for more than 2 hours, trust me, you really want to pay to sit at the lounge. I'm giving it 4/5 because the glass wall is not facing the tarmac, and I love staring at planes come and go when I'm at airports! read more

There's no other lounges in STL so I can't complain because I was very happy to have an outlet and somewhere quiet to work while I waited for my flight. However, it's not much. After spending an hour in the airport my back begin to hurt from sitting in the comfortable chairs . I Stumbled across the lounge while looking for a massage chair. The wingtips Advertisement stated free food and beverages, in a relaxing environment for a low price. It was my lucky day the sits were Comfortable the food & beverages were Delicious. The best part was the staff ! The bartender, Steve P. Was amazing I walked in grumpy having a bad day but after Steve gave me a glass of wine and a friendly smile with few jokes my evenings turned around. I had an extensive layover at the St. Louis, MO airport, and decided to take a walk around the terminal, and stumbled on Wingtips Lounge. I am so glad I did. I met D'Shaun (food master), Olivia and Teagan at the bar area and Rachel the GM. I know their names because they immediately asked mine and called me by my name throughout my stay. The food is great (thanks D'Shaun) and the drinks are top shelf. The atmosphere is impeccable and you would never know if and when you walk out the door from the lounge that you are in an airport. I have been a member of United's Red Carpet Room and Wingtips puts the United lounges to shame. Excellent service, value that makes one think there must be something wrong, nice, friendly staff and a great space. You owe it to yourself to visit Wingtips and make traveling fun and premium again. Complimentary drinks (upcharge for premium drinks), complimentary food and an extremely reasonable annual or daily membership rate. You CANNOT go wrong and you will NOT be disappointed. read more

Due to a "contract with another airline" the kicked all the Priority Pass holders and those only out for 2.5 hours in the middle of the day 3 days a week. There was plenty of available space in the lounge so not sure why they singled out Priority Pass holders. Food options were basically pretzels and fruit and quite underwhelming as well. It was clean and less crowded than the gate areas, so about the only thing going for it. read more

For $38, you get so much. It's all you can eat; apps, salads, soups, sandwiches and flatbreads. Plus, all you can drink beers, wines, and spirits. This lounge provides a calm and quiet atmosphere equipped with fast wifi and charging stations. It's a great place to work on your laptop while you eat and drink. The service here is excellent, too. They also have a location at JFK terminal 4 but this should be a thing at all airports. If you have a least an out to kill at an airport, go here. read more

Had a one hour layover in STL and my go-to lounges of choice (Amex centurion lounge or the USO) were either not on site or required me to exit and have to return through security, no way. Found wingtips lounge and got a discount as an Amex platinum card holder ($28 instead of $38) and was happily surprised! It is warm, inviting, quiet and secluded. I found a comfortable spot to use my breast pump, they even offered me the conference room with opaque walls if I wanted to use it. The front desk staff (Kaylynn?) and the bartender (Steve) were so warm and attentive, the food was simple and tasty and the complimentary drinks were a great perk. If I am ever in STL again, I will be back. Definitely worth the $, check them out! read more

Very disappointing! Stopped by today and two patrons where obviously very intoxicated and talking loud bothering other travelers. It happens I understand especially with flight delays. However, the bartender bragging to people at the bar with kids around "I f**ked them up!" and laughing about it is not acceptable. The bartender continued to serve the drunk couple drinks. Customers sitting near the drunk couple were leaving or moving as far away from them as possible. This made for a a very bad experience for most of the customers me included. As for the food, no hot food only chips (crumbs left), empty salad bowl, cookies, and 3 mini ham sandwiches. read more

I was very skeptical after seeing 5 stars because I've been to a lot of filthy airport lounges with crabby employees and bad food. This lounge should be a standard. The best thing about this one is the staff. I think when I was there it was 4 people working, 2 girls up front and 2 guys in the kitchen. Found this under utilized lounge when my flight to St Louis was delayed due to a bird strike. Since I had 5 hours until my connecting flight left, I decided to give this a try. For $38 you get 4 hours of lounge time. Unlike the American and United lounges, this one was super clean. The staff was on top of their cleaning. They were also very friendly and attentive. For your day pass fee, you get the usual selection of drinks (including some beers and wine) and snacks for free. You could also order a wide selection upgraded alcoholic drinks as well. For those that happen to stop in during lunch or dinner times or anytime they are open really, you can order from a nice selection of sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, and wraps. This was a really nice perk. I didn't have to leave the lounge at all to get lunch. Of course you also get secured fast Wifi as part of the fee. If you come to STL or NYC, consider getting a membership. I really enjoyed my time in there. The quiet, cleanliness, and hot or cold made to order meals really set it apart from the other lounges. read more

Good workspaces (although I had to find a spot with a better chair/table height). Excellent WiFi (60+Mb down!! / 24Mb up!). I had a conference in St. Louis in October, and the only flight I could get out was quite a few hours it ended. I was flying Southwest, so the Admiral's Club (at that time you could still access it when flying another airline) was out, as it's apparently in another separate terminal and I couldn't determine if my boarding pass would be good there. I came upon Wingtips on Yelp and was surprised by the many 5 star reviews. In my experience, airport lounge users tend to have high expectations and be super picky* and super stingy with their reviews. As they should be...generally no matter how you obtained lounge access, you dropped some cash to get it. (*As a matter of fact, one of the frequent business flyers in the lounge day mentioned that he has Centurion Lounge access, which is supposed to be one of the upper end, absolute cream of the crop airport lounges. I asked him how he liked it. "It's OK," he remarked unenthusiastically.) Wingtips earned its stars! It's a great, modern lounge and for $38 you get drinks (excluding premium), a basic buffet of nibbles, and you can order sandwiches and salads off their menu. Again, all of this is included in the entrance fee. The only thing you'll pay for is premium spirits. It's not a super big lounge, but it makes up for that with great amenities, expansive food options, and great service. The bartender working that night was super friendly and was genuinely pleased when I mentioned the great reviews on Yelp. It also certainly helped that my gate was right across from the lounge, so when my flight was delayed all I had to do was periodically poke my head out to see if there were any updates. I'm too paranoid to trust push notifications and updates on the airline app! Right now St. Louis and JFK are the only two Wingtips locations. I'd love to see them expand elsewhere. The legacy airlines are getting so stingy with their access...it's nice to have an option of a nice, upscale, relaxing lounge no matter what airline you happen to by flying. If you have time to kill in St. Louis, I definitely recommend this lounge. You'll probably spend $38 while killing time anyway...your money is better spent here! read more

Josh and Kaylan are awesome!! We had a great time visiting with them- first of all- they are very social and relatable. The drinks, food and service were far worth coming here then to a fast food place. Then, we had a 2 hour lay over. Apparently they give you 24 hours to come back and use their services- so we came back in and were welcomed with open arms! This is why this place is so good- to connect, or to have your own space. We got to watch the Blues Hockey game too. Love this place and highly recommend it! read more

Okay so this is only the second airport lounge I've been to, but I am really impressed with this place. The staff is really friendly and attentive. I also am here on a Wednesday morning which probably isn't the busiest time. However they have made to order food which is so awesome! I got the egg souffle. Here's the thing, they are tiny. Just be aware of that. I would order two or three next time. But they were hot and delicious. I also got a bagel with cream cheese. Standard stuff. The coffee machine was excellent. You can get a cappichino, latte, espresso, and more! I was impressed. It's super clean and probably the nicest bathroom I have EVER been to inside of an airport. I was wildly impressed with the cleanliness and just the beauty of the bathroom. There are no showers but not an issue for me this time. It's unlimited food and drinks. There is also someone cleaning everything all the time so you know this place is fresh. Lots of seating and even a cool conference room area. It's $38 for a four hour pass. Not bad at all. Better then the more expensive lounge I went to in Orlando that was a dump. I would come back here again in a heart beat! A couple glasses of wine and the yummy food is worth the day pass fee. Steve the bar tender is special and tops my wine off just when I need it.
