Cute little lounge in the St. Louis airport.. small, but just enough amenities to make it well worth the pit stop. The staff were super sweet and helpful, and I enjoyed a delicious mimosa as well as an espresso and some cereal. They did refresh the food at least once during the short time I was there so it also seemed fresh, which isn't always the case at these lounges. Bathrooms were clean, but would have appreciated some paper towels instead of just the hand dryers. read more

Decidedly ok. No one was at the check in counter so people didn't know whether to wait or not. Someone finally came up to scan people in and had a to call a bunch of people back who had just walked in and sat down. Dismal drink selection comped. One red wine, no sparkling wine, only a chard or moscato for white wine. No indication of what mixers were available. The bartender was nice and attentive. Could hear a baby in the cry room. Bathrooms were out of order for half my stay. Wondering if it was worth staying for my three hour layover. read more

We didn't have much time during our layover and saw this lounge when walking to our connecting gate. We figured we had about 30 min before boarding started so decided to pop in for only 15 or 20 min. Well we weren't very happy when there was nobody at the front desk. After waiting 8 min or so we decided to walk in. It was only then we were met by an employee who made us walk all the way back to the front to check-in. It appears as if the same lady was working the front desk, bar and refilling snacks! No wonder everything is so slow! Visits are free if you have Priority Pass membership, otherwise I believe it's 30 or 40 bucks. It is worth it if you have a layover spanning a few hours because snacks and drinks, even non-alcoholic, are expensive inside the airport anyways! After checking in, nothing was explained to us and since we were in a rush we just went to the snacks that were set up in the back. I believe beer and wine is included, and possibly wells cocktails but we did not partake and it wasn't explained to us so I can't tell you how it works. As for the snacks they have bags of chips, pretzels, Nature Valley granola bars, fruit, small slider sized sandwiches, salad, cookies, mini cupcakes, soda, coffee, tea and water. The sandwiches and cupcakes were pretty good but the pretzels tasted a little stale. That's about all I had because the salad wasn't refilled while I was there. They have some serious staffing issues it seems like but it's still better than no lounge! read more

This lounge has a decent ambience but the amenities were lacking compared to other airport lounges. The food options only included iceberg lettuce salad mix with ranch cheese, croutons, tomato, and bacon. There were also two types of potato chips (both were stale) and some cookies/cupcakes. I was definitely expecting more of a light meal as usually provided. The staff was prompt and very friendly and the place was pretty clean. read more

There is a paltry selection of some food - soup, some salad leaves, granola bars, pretzels, potato chips, apples, some cookies, dessert bars, and a coffee machine for coffee. For other drinks, soft drinks or alcoholic beverages, you have to order at the bar. It's pretty plain and bare bones so I think it's just so-so as far as lounges go. read more

I suppose maybe I've just come to expect more and better from airport lounges, but this one did not hit the mark (and three stars is probably a bit high to be honest). It's not a particularly large lounge, which isn't the problem (especially since there weren't very many people there anyways), but it is understaffed and provides very little in food or drink option. The food options consist of some chips (both small bags and out on serving trays), a few small desserts, and some sort of deli options (but not really). There is a bar, but most of the drinks and even mid-grade liquor (such as Captain Morgan) require an upcharge. That's foolish to me. Like come on... This is by FAR the worst airport lounge I've ever been to. I had lounge access included as part of my ticket, I pity those who actually pay for access! For starters, the table was dirty, there's no one to clean up previous guests' messes. The food selection is a disgrace, some lettuce, chopped onions and grated cheese. Looks like there's supposed to be taco shells or beef or something. But there isn't. Maybe they expect guests to make wraps using napkins. A couple of apples, granola bars and some cookies. That's it. And this is at 2pm. The place closes at 3pm (only opening at 12:30) so if you blink too long, you'll miss it. Well, at least you can have a soda... right... RIGHT? Nope, ice dispenser is broken, there's a sign: "ask for ice at bar". Yeah, there's a bar! But nobody attending it! So Coke it is, no ice, and it's at room temperature, like English beer. Disgusting. There's little positive to say about this dump. They offer free Wi-Fi. Wohoo! Another positive thing is that it's closed every second day, so the chance of anyone walking into the trap is minimal. Whoever designed this "lounge" should be given a round trip ticket to other lounges around the globe to see what a lounge CAN look like! USB chargers? Sure, if you bring one. At least it's quiet - there's almost no one there. Except for an employee walking in slow motion. The airlines should issue vouchers to the food court to passengers instead. Interesting! Walked in to Romain salad that was turning brown. I was hungry so I picked through it to find some that were not discolored. They had ham sandwiches on King Hawaiian bread. I asked for a vegetarian option. I asked because I saw reviews where there was a menu and people were able to select items. The staff told me that they were not offering that service as they were understaffed. The staff accommodated me by making a veggie sandwich and bringing it to my table. They had plain chips. The drinks have options for free drinks and you can upgrade if you want a liquor that you have heard of before. It was nice to have this option was it spectacular no. The spread needed to be replenished and had been in this disheveled state for at least half an hour. Complete waste of time and money. A pretty nice airport lounge that was available with Priority Pass. Came between lunch and dinner with my wife on a Monday. Was surprised to see the lounge pretty busy, but the staff was able to keep up with the traffic of people. The bar was nice, although the complimentary items were limited. It was nice to see a serve yourself salad bar and sandwich station, where most other places are pre-packaged food from the day before. I definitely enjoyed my time at this lounge--the staff was very accommodating and friendly and the entire place was very clean! Will come again when I'm flying through STL! read more

Wingtips Lounge is at Terminal 2 (primarily SW flights). It's wonderful to be able pop in for a bite or drink if we arrive early. The staff is always friendly and it seems on this visit that they've hired extra staff so they aren't so stretched. Food seems to primarily continental type (small sandwiches, salad and some desserts). There is a coffee bar with a latte, cappuccino machine and drip coffee. The majority of drinks are included with the membership as well as additional food and drinks for purchase. Nice little place to getaway from the airport bustle. read more

I knew I had a longer than usual layover at the St. Louis Airport on Monday July 15th around 1pm. I couldn't use the USO facility due to it not being allowed entry for retired military. As an alternative, I saw this lounge and checked out the reviews which weren't too appealing. I decided to check it out. I was greeted by a nice girl at the bar and asked if I could walk through and take a look. I took a look at the snacks, salad bar, little turkey and cheese sandwiches, espresso coffee machine, and water dispenser, and at the bar you can ask for alcoholic drinks and sodas. There were plenty of seating and cozy spots to relax, and private bathrooms. I spotted a little booth seat with a desk in the corner, and decided to stay. My layover was 4 hrs, so I paid the rate of $38. People came in and out, some with families stayed longer, but it never go too noisy or crowded. The salad bar was minimal, but they had chips, cookies, and free sodas and water. You can bring in food from the restaurants. The bartenders were nice and friendly and did their best to keep up with everything! My experience was great and it made my time go by faster not hanging out in the noisy terminal. read more

Wingtips I didn't realize that they had a lounge in the airport that I have a membership to. It was a great place to sit and have some quiet time, have a snack, have a glass of wine and get on the Internet. Rachel and Chekesha Were great, Rachel served us a glass of vine. I had a conversations with both ladies and they were working hard to keep the supplies restocked, and the seating areas cleaned and sanitized. I am thankful to them for working. I was so thankful that I made sure that I tipped them separately, they were extremely grateful. I really don't understand when you go to lounges like this, they offer you a free sandwich, bag of chips, a salad, cookies, etc., I think people are rude not acknowledging that nor acknowledging the employees that are working! I always tip and make sure to let them know that I am grateful that they chose to work, especially in this day and age. I enjoyed my experience there so much, I will go back. Wow, what a great place! Flying through STL, I received a text message from the airline that my flight was delayed (on an already two hour layover) two hours = 4 hours! I happened to walk by Wingtips on the way to check out my gate assignment and was bummed to see hordes of people crawling all over the terminal like ants on an anthill. I circled back and checked in to Wingtips - turned out to be an excellent choice! It was quiet, clean, comfortable and the staff was exceptional! I had some food, snacks, coffee - all stellar. If I'm ever in STL for more than a few hours, Wingtips Lounge is a definite stop! I could certainly add more positives - clean private restrooms, WiFi, booze, televisions, flight screens - just an awesome place. 5 enthusiastic stars - thank you Wingtips for making my prolonged stay in STL pain-free and actually quite enjoyable. Lucky me to already be in Terminal 2 with a looong layover in St. Louis (MSY). The afternoon staff 2/13@3:30-6:00 are all wonderful. From the fella out in front, gal that checks ya in, bartender taking food/drink requests and food staff that brings out dishes w a smile. This lounge is top notch, full service. Even though it's open to all, I felt a bit privy to enjoy the comforts it had to offer for nominal day fee of $38 (less if you have Amex plat card or priority boarding pass). It was nice to have diff types of seating areas. There are little booths, big chairs, small ones, even the bar stools were comfy. Not a bad seat in the house...as I bounced all over to find the one that was "just right". All seats have its own outlet plug and free faster wi-fi separate from airport. I think I saw a conference room in back as well. They even have two dedicated private washrooms so you never have to leave! Lol. The atmosphere in here is way calm it almost didn't feel like I was at an airport. I think every airport should have a sweet spot like this and you should splurge if given the opportunity. I have the Priority Pass from Chase that I rarely get to use because it doesn't usually have lounges at the airports I normally frequent. I was pleasantly surprised to find Wingtips Lounge listed when I had a layover in St. Louis. I arrived around 10:30am on a Tuesday and the front desk person informed me they would be closing at noon that day. I'm not sure the reason, but it was no issue for me as I only had an hour to spare. There were only 2 other people there who left shortly after I arrived. Certain seats were blocked off to ensure proper social distancing. They did not have the buffet open (I assume due to Covid restrictions) but had both breakfast and lunch menus to order off of. I wasn't very hungry so I just got the cheese-stuffed pretzel bites. Perfect snack! Other items on the menu included simple fare such as sandwiches, oatmeal, cereal, etc. The staff were also extra friendly and attentive. I enjoyed a glass of Prosecco in front of some large windows. Not an exciting view, but more relaxing than the main airport seating areas, for sure. I have been coming to the Wingtip lounge since it opened. Cleanliness, service and food offerings have gone downhill. After my last visit, I thought it could not get any worse....it did! There is one server who has to check people in, clean, prepare the food, etc. Likely not her fault, but the place is a mess. No diet sodas, no sandwiches, empty food service bowls and people lined up at the door to check in. I had planned to bring a guest, and glad I didn't. No idea if there is a manager, but surely he/she are not doing their job. read more

Small salad bar, tiny sandwich and some bits of dessert. WiFi worked fine. Free Chardonnay was good. Upon return travel layover on a Saturday, I was shocked, mad and disappointed to discover they are always closed on Saturday. What?!? Unbelievable.
