We talked about the different Hot Wings Café locations, and since I live closer to the Sherman Oaks location, he let me know that another family member runs that restaurant. I love supporting true family-owned businesses, and you can genuinely feel that family atmosphere here. Even during the lunchtime rush, there was a steady stream of customers coming in and orders going out, but the staff never seemed overwhelmed. It was easy to tell they have a loyal group of regulars. The young woman working alongside Marion was just as friendly, cheerful, and gracious, whether she was helping customers at the counter or taking phone orders. It's becoming harder and harder to find this level of genuine hospitality, especially at family-owned restaurants. They made everyone who walked through the door feel welcome, and that kind of customer service is something I truly appreciate.
