Paid for a big order and my wings had chicken feathers still attached. Sorry but that's actually really gross

When I called to attempt to place an order over the phone, one of the guys answered it by just saying "Hello?" And repeating "Hello?" until I hung up since I felt like I dialed a cellphone number instead of an actual business. So I went in to just order some wings to go. It was about 9:30 PM, a small group of people that already had their food were eating at the table, and there were 3 guys in the back. I placed my order and waited for about 25 minutes for my food. My Mango Habanero wings were drenched in sauce, yet still no kick to it? I don't know how it's possible but it was. And the boneless wings were SO dry, such a disappointment. read more

Aside from the entire staff looking stoned, which is not unusual for wingstop, I know, the food was pretty gross tonight. My fries were cold, limp, and presumably overcooked, so I'm assuming they are old fries left over from a different order? The wings were ok, however they had more of a spicy kick than i expected because I ordered mild sauce and usually mild has no spiceyness at all. Service, though not offensive or malicious in any way, was pretty lazy. Was not greeted when I came in. The female cashier simply walked up to the register and stared at me, which was a little confusing. I understand that at 11pm, I came in a little late, but they did not close for another hour (sign says open til midnight) and yet the floor mats were all pulled, the chairs were all upside down stacked on top of the tables, so there was nowhere to sit (to wait) and I'm guessing the food I ordered was worse quality than what I would have been served a few hours prior. One of the draws of Wing stop (for me) was its late hours, but apparently that comes with drawbacks. Two stars instead of one because my meal was made exactly to order, I didnt have to wait long, and no one was rude. Just lazy. Classic wings are great here. Boneless are pretty salty. I've ordered from this location three times and every single time my fries have been ice cold and full of salt. Got order wrong when i went back to fix it one of the dudes looked like he just finished the 11th grade. was very timid to customers but loud with his coworkers not paying attention to what was going on. But had time to talk about how they should put set an xbox or an playstation up in there to play during work. Did not listen to my reorder half way listening which lead to another wrong order in the same 15 minutes i was there to fix the wrong order i was given. Witnessed one of the cooks who clearly didn't wanna be there drop chicken on the floor and just kept going and talking. Overall only one person there was good and made my order right in the end but one out of 7 people back there working is not a good combination for teamwork. The Vista location off of Hacienda SUCKS. They hardly ever answer the phone and if you're lucky enough to have someone pick up, they'll "put you on a brief hold" only to leave you on hold for 15+ minutes just to then hang up on you. Walking in to place an order is almost as bad-- everyone there is higher than their oven temperatures and not a single person seems to give a shit about anything. I get that it's fast food and it's not anyone's passion to be serving wings but I've NEVER dealt with such consistently lazy and disrespectful people in my life. Good lord. The food isn't good... Garlic Parmesan wings are drenched in Parmesan cheese. Lemon pepper wings are extremely lemony. About an hour after we left my husband couldn't stay out of the bathroom... he was so sick. The only positive was that the wings were hot and fresh. Cheese fries were extremely salty. I called cuz again they take a while so by the time I drive drive around the earth twice, they might be bagging my order. Today tho when I called 4 times and sat on the phone for 5 minutes each time. Ordered delivery, took them 45 minutes to prepare the order, supposed to take 10. Felt bad for the delivery person having to waste that much time because they don't have their act together. When it arrived the bag was drenched in grease, oil, disgusting. Again, delivery driver apologized for their problems. The wings, hot were mediocre, not even hot. Garlic Parmesan, disgusting, tasted like old freezer wings in spoiled oil, hurl worthy. Maybe some ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce might have helped, if they had put it in the bag. If I had the option to give zero stars I would. We waited 45 minutes for our 8 boneless wings, 10 wings, and fries. People after us even received their orders before us, and when I asked about our order I was told they were waiting on fries. When I asked how a full family that ordered after us got their items, including fries, before us the employee stated it was because they only ordered boneless wings. I ordered some cajun and some garlic parm wings tonight to get home to "okay, but cooked to death and have had a lot better" cajun wings and "where in the world is the garlic and parm" bone dry absolutely plain garlic parm wings sitting in a teeny bit of oil. I thought maybe they got my order wrong, looked at my receipt and it said garlic parm. Also discussed with my sister who ordered the same wings the night before and received the garlic parm absolutely plain as can be. I've been going to wingstop for a long time now (not necessarily this branch) so I'm well aware of what to expect and this was the worst experience I've had. I had 1 of each wing and put them away for me to revive on my own tomorrow. I've been a pretty loyal customer when the craving calls, but will not be returning to this branch. Wow, i wont be back! Where is manager? Is there one? I was so unhappy about my long wait time, went to ask for the lady manager who always helps me. The one with the glasses and dark hair. She always is so nice and says she is happy to see me. The staff there said "she is not with the company anymore!". Disappointing because i really enjoyed coming here with my mom, chit chat, and have a delicious meal. Now there is no reason. They don't ask me about my day or seem to care. Usually decent service. Not the greatest. Not the worst. Start my order tonight online and hit send to see 15-20 minutes to pick up. Cool. Then my husband says he wants something different so I call to change the order. The phone rings nonstop and no one ever picks up. I'm assuming it's One of those I guess you get what you pay for except they aren't super cheap to begin with so when I spend over 50 bucks for wings and am trying to pick up after the 20 minutes quoted and I'm still here 1 hour later Forget the fact that when I am waiting the phone rings and not one of the 3 employees even blink or try to answer it. Customers walk in and stand there without being acknowledged. People walking out without even trying to order anymore. Icing on the cake was the person I will guess was the manager type of the establishment helping bag customer orders etc repeatedly touching his face and hair without washing his hands before handling food or taking orders at the register and I'm wondering if our food should even be consumed. I get it. It's a Saturday. You're busy. But either schedule more employees to come in or hire more efficient staff to begin with We love Wingstop but repeatedly having to wait each time or get our orders screwed up each time is making us regret our wing craving every time. I usually have a good experience here - have had no bad experiences with orders or timing before. Tonight, I ordered from Wingstop's app for delivery (apparently they use Doordash? But it's Wingstop's site) Beyond it being 30 mins later than scheduled, half of our order was left behind. Called the store and the person who answered thought it was funny and was joking about how everyone in the store noticed the driver left them. The rest of the food had been sitting at the restaurant for about 45 mins at this point, so my husband asked if we could get a fresh order of fries. First, the employee said the food could technically be delivered, but he'd have to call DoorDash and etc etc but had no idea when the food would get here. A lot of hemming and hawing - didn't sound like that was going to work. The bottom line was, we paid for food and aren't getting it. We can't fix it on our end. After my husband said he'd dispute the order with the credit card company to ensure we weren't charged for food we weren't going to get, the employee told him to calm down and then hung up on him. At the end of the day, I get that it's an accident that the food was left and it makes it more complicated that a third party delivered. But the employee really didn't seem interested in helping and had no idea what they were doing. On top of all this, much of the food we received looked like what's left at the bottom of the fryer - tiny, overcooked pieces with no meat. Called Wingstop customer service just to see who we could talk to and they disconnected me right as I got a hold of someone. Lol perfect. I opted to make frozen chicken tenders and fries at home. I order from this location at least 3x a month, and I had never really had an issue with the staff. I usually call in my order and then pick it up. I called on Friday night around 11:30 and the phone rang for a while so I hung up. My boyfriend called not even a minute later and the phone had been unplugged. I'm not mad I'm just sad cause my high ass really wanted some wings that night.
