The most baffling part of the experience was the service speed. Despite there being absolutely zero other customers in the shop during my visit, I waited over 15 minutes for my order. It is hard to understand why the turnaround was so slow in an empty restaurant, which definitely set a frustrating tone before I even opened the bag. The chicken sandwich itself was a bit of a head-scratcher. Instead of a traditional, unified chicken breast fillet, the sandwich is constructed using two separate chicken strips. It is an odd choice that makes eating it somewhat awkward, as the strips slide around the bun. Beyond the quirky construction, the flavor profile was missing the punch I was looking for. I really wish they offered a genuinely spicy version or at least brought more aggressive seasoning to the breading. It is a decent sandwich that simply lacks the bold flavors necessary to stand out in a very crowded market. When comparing this to other local options, it is impossible not to think of Popeyes. For my money, Popeyes makes a much better spicy chicken sandwich that is significantly more flavorful, much more affordable, and delivered to the counter much faster. Mr Wingz has a good foundation, but there is definite room for improvement when it comes to ticket times and recipe development. Pumping up the seasoning, rethinking the sandwich build, and improving kitchen efficiency would go a long way. For now, it is a fair 3 out of 5 stars.

It was the perfect level of heat for me, I don't know if I would try their spicy version. I thought the Pork Dumplings were the star of the meal. They were large in size and cooked perfectly. They had just the right amount of crunch and filling. The sauce that came with it was also on the sweeter side.

There is another major chicken fast food chain, whose chicken tenders we use as the comparison point. Didn't think it was possible, however these are better. Now, with that said, and looking at some of the other reviews comments I do have to say that the disposition of the service folks could take some lessons from this other chicken fast food chain. It was okay service; however given the overall taste and value of the chain I would now put this as my preference for the best chicken tenders that I have had. The service differences are not enough to drive me to the other chain. One other thing. They do have chicken wings. I got one to give it a try. It was okay and I would say expensive for what you get. So, none of their chicken wings for me. Stay with the tenders. My rating is only based on the chicken tenders, not the wings.

It is probably an accurate name even if I find it unsettling. I've always gotten well cooked chicken livers here. It's all I've gotten but my boyfriend has gotten gizzards (no, thanks) and the fried chicken and really liked both. I've had their biscuits and tasted the fries and they are both pretty good but I'm really there for the fried chicken livers. A large order is 2-3 meals for me. We order through the app and pick up in the drive thru. We have never had to wait long since we order through the app and our order has always been correct. I highly recommend doing it this way if you can! It is quite user friendly. I haven't been inside so I can't review the ambiance but it's fast food so I wouldn't be expecting too much. It's sort of in a more industrialized neighborhood so it it not fancy at all on the outside. Those places often have good food though. If you are looking for a fancy, dine in experience, this might not be the place but if you are looking for some well cooked, fried chicken, livers, or gizzards along with a pretty good biscuit on the side, check them out!!
