Whoever was responsible for preparing food on July 31, 2022 between the hours of 11am -2pm, did an awful job. The wings were not seasoned properly at all. I ordered three different flavors and they all literally tasted the same. The fries were not seasoned. They dumped seasoning on the very top and nothing else throughout the rest. I asked for them to be well-done and they were not. There was no effort put into making this food. I usually don't write reviews but prices are too high not to receive a quality product. From now on I will go out of my way and go to the Wingstop in Desoto. I am very disappointed and regret spending my money. read more

It seems like everytime I go to this location my fries are never cooked the first go around. I get home fries taste very uncooked and then having to drive back and watch them cook the fries correctly. It's sad that this is my neighborhood Wingstop but I have to drive to a different location about 20 mins away just get my order of fries right the first time. read more

Walked in and placed an order to go. They said it was going to be a 30 minute wait, after I paid. I decided to just wait, figured it would be sooner. After 30 minutes the girl at the cash register, who has no emotion, says it's another 10 minutes. I'm assuming they were short staffed because I heard one employee yell to another employee about how one guy was 15 minutes late, but yet he was able to pick up his check on time earlier in the day. My main complaint was because of how they handled it all. No customer service AT ALL! No thank you, no it will be out soon, nothing. I know it's "fast food" but these young ones need to learn how to treat a job right. If not then they can expect to have a job in the fast food industry forever! read more

Only because I have to select a one-star in order to review this place, but if I could I would do a negative 5 stars, this place is disgusting. First off they did not give me my complete order the first time around. I understand mistakes can happen so I went ahead and accepted to return to pick up my third box of 10 piece combos they neglected to include. Okay, so other reviews were bad for this place but I found it to be fine. They told us that the wait for the wings was going to be 35 minutes, which is typical on a Friday night at around 8 o'clock. We spoke with Danae and they got our order correct the restaurant had one other family in it. Otherwise they were friendly and hard at work. We paid and we left. Will be ordering from this wing stop more often. read more

This place is a joke. Waiting over 45 mins on a Friday at 2:00 for our food. People have been waiting over an hour for their food. This location takes forever the last couple of times we have come to eat. Update over an hour and we left. Got a refund. The cooks in the back were goofing off. I had a terrible experience with this wingstop! I ordered food online and went to pick it up at the estimated time. It wasn't ready and I was fine with waiting a bit more but when I got home half of my order was missing and what I did have was completely wrong. I tried calling them for like 20 minutes with no answer and when I finally got ahold of them they promised the food would be ready by the time I got there in 20 minutes as long as I brought the food I had back and they hadn't even started making the food when I got there. Then I just wanted a refunded because I was frustrated and it took over half an hour for management to issue me a refund. All the while I was waiting, half the customers returned because they were missing parts of their order too. Never going there again! read more

I cant really say anything about the food at this particular wingstop because both of the times I've been in there the wait for wings was quoted at 25 to 30 minutes followed by "is that ok?" Why no. Wings were hot and fresh! Order was ready exactly when promised and correct! Staff was very friendly and professional. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is the floor was very slippery due to grease, especially near the restrooms. I recently had knee surgery and it was difficult to walk safely and not slip. read more

Placed an online order, I requested that the wings be fried well (cooked longer). I trusted it would be correct. NOT! When I made it home, I realized the wings were soft and light in color. I called and explained the situation. Informed the woman who answered that I would be headed back up there, if they would not mind working on the replacement now so that I don't have to wait. Once I got there, I gave the cashier (Amor/colorful hair) the bag. She opens the bag and says "Courtney we're only replacing the chicken, not the fries"!!!! Please tell me how that makes sense. You messed up the main part of my meal and you don't want to replace all of it! I was so upset I told her to just put the replacement chicken in with the same fries ITS NOT THAT DEEP. This cashier proceeded to have an attitude with me as if I was the problem. Wingstop you guys really need to step up your staff game. You're location is near a Chick-fil-A...their staff may need to train yours or your company needs to offer money to Chick-fil-A employees so that they can come over to your location. HORRIBLE SERVICE. we have had multiple bad experiences with this wingstop but this one tooK the cake. I called in a phone order a HOUR before I needed to pick it up. When I got there it still was not ready and had to wait twenty minutes for it to be ready. They got my order wrong on top of that. The employees are all very young and rude. We have been coming here for a while already but I don't think I will be going back every time it gets worse and worse about 1 month ago I went and bought some wings and they where cold as well as my fries and today I went their and my wings where cold again and I ordered two combos and they put both combos together and they where two different flavors I asked them and all they gave me was another tray and some powder lemon pepper they didn't even try to make them again and like I said they where cold and I had been waiting for 30 minutes already they need someone their making sure they are working how they are supposed too and serving food how they are supposed too and i noticed another person had the same problem I did I don't think it's fair because we are paying for our food and waiting for it to be the way they are supposed to serve it. I went in today at 1:55. Order 10 boneless wings and not even 3 minutes later they have my order finished. When I ask if she just gave me old wings the cashier said no we just made them for that customer over there. Those said customers were finished eating their food. I told her I didn't know how long they had been sitting there and that it takes them 8 minutes to cook boneless wings but only 3 to reheat. Not only was the cashier the cook but she was on her phone on front of the register when I entered, while taking my order and while my food was reheating. All in site of customers who could walk in. Well, what can I say. If I was running a business and healthy amount of my business is through phone orders I think I would expense to get it fixed. Son had his birthday and wanted wings. We had to drive to go there to find out there phones are not working for over a week. But, to make it less impressive the phone will work if you catch it on the first ring. So you think leadership there would have said hey make sure you pick up the phone on the first ring and at least ask them to hold....(enter rolling eyes emoji) nope just let them go...so service needs some serious attention but the wings are very good. Every time I have ordered the food is horrible will not go back I have given this wing stop a try to try to support them here and red oak because we are small community will not go back ever and it's a shame!!! So, we've all seen the restaurant that looks a mess after a huge rush of people have swarmed through for lunch, right? - Yeah, that's not the situation here. When my husband and I entered, it was a little before 5:30 pm. We were the ONLY customers, and during our entire time in the restaurant, only 2 other parties came in. One party of 4 people, and one single lady. - The place was not busy at all. This restaurant was absolutely filthy! - The floor was super-sticky. Yep, that really bad 'shoe-sucking' sort of sticky! - The soda fountain and condiment area was a disaster and wasn't stocked. (The machine itself was so badly in need of cleaning that the water button wouldn't function until the 5th or 6th press when the dried on soda had finally dissolved.) - We had to wipe down a table for ourselves, as there were none clean. None. (I'm not talking about just a few crumbs here... think: dried on soda rings where a drink has sloshed, and various sauces and ketchup smeared around. I mentioned the condition of the lobby to the 'manager'. She blamed a prior shift and headed to the back to presumably hide? Ten minutes later or so, a girl comes out to wipe down the tables with a (currently brown) white towel, her shoes making an audible "schwack" with each step. Sad, but almost comical. [We really enjoy Wingstop wings... so yes, we were worried, but stayed anyway.] But, as we waited we started noticing more. - The front windows are quite hard to even see through when the sun hits them due to a thick film? They look like someone took a dirty sponge and just rubbed it all over the glass. - The ladies restroom was appalling. Trash can full, grimy mirror and sink, and an orange scum ring in the commode that made me assume it rarely gets cleaned. Finally, the food was done and I went to pick it up. UGH! Have a nice handful of solidified grease. The bottom of the tray was thickly coated with something sticky and oily. On the way back to our seat, I'm seeing that even the top side of the tray is layered in dried sauce and bits of old food. What!?!? Back to the nasty bathroom to wash! We were already pretty upset, but after seeing proof that the dirty conditions weren't just confined to the lobby, but are also obviously present in the kitchen as well... we opted to not risk our health, asking the 'manager' for a refund. This started a whole new level of disgust with this Wingstop location. -No apology. (But we were given PLENTY of flippant attitude!) -No attempt to correct the situation. - And NO REFUND!? (Our credit card was actually charged again! Pay twice for this questionable food, lousy service, and grubby lobby!?!) We did finally get a full refund, for BOTH tickets. We won't be coming back. We will be trying to reach the franchise owners. We will be contacting the local Health Department. read more

One of those cases where Yelp needs to add a zero star rating. Not sure I can add to the already poor reviews of this place. Wife and I were there tonight at 5:30, not another soul in the place and it was a mess. I was flabbergasted when I placed my order and was told that they could not place an order for all flats in spite of that being an option at every other WS I have visited as well as on the WS web site. I relented to order a mixed order of 20 with fries and a couple of drinks. The tables were filthy, the floor was sticky, soda fountain and the area around it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. We brought the cleanliness to the attention of the "manager" and the excuse was that the previous shift was responsible for the mess. An employee came out and wiped down the tables with a cloth that looked like it had been used to clean the grill. The windows were so smeared that it looked like the same rag that was used to clean the tables and grill was used in an attempt to clean them. Fast forward to the arrival of our food and it arrived on a tray that was not only covered in oil, but had food left from who knows what all over it. When I asked to speak to the manager again, she snippily asked "What about". When I showed her the tray, I was offered a new tray. I opted out of the new tray and requested my money back. While explaining all of the filth that I witnessed and explaining that I didn't feel comfortable eating in a place with such lax standards of clean. When I asked for her name and the contact for her supervisor, she told me I didn't need that information. Then she stopped processing my refund to apparently call the owners, turning her back on me in the process. After leaving, I looked at my card receipt and discovered not only was a not refunded for my uneaten meal, but the "refund" was a charge of $22 instead of a refund. Fortunately, I managed to get a full refund after a return trip while being threatened to have the police called if I was still upset when I returned. When I offered to call the police and have them there when I returned so I could file charges for credit card fraud, the "manager" decided that police involvement was not necessary. This is by far the worst Wing Stop I have visited. As mentioned in the other reviews, the place is beyond dirty, the staff is rude and lacking in any semblance of customer service skills. Judging from the other reviews here, it appears that the owners have no pride in the restaurant. I'll be checking with the City of Red Oak in the morning to see who is responsible for inspecting food service businesses and see if they can pay a visit before someone end up with food poisoning or worse. read more

No way to give zero stars! Second time trying to get a to go order from this location. First time took almost an hour. Up to 20 minutes for this order. Seriously, only 3 team members working on a Friday night?!? ZERO multi-tasking abilities and even less customer service. Must take rocket science to fry chicken and potatoes efficiently. In the 20 minutes I have been waiting, 3 orders have come back in because they were wrong? Really?!? I do not understand! Ordered my food at 7:10 online and my pickup time was 7:30. Walked to the counter to pay and was told it would a couple of minutes so I said it was fine 8:05 never got my order but everyone else coming in after recieved there orders fast even people dining in. Asked how much longer and cashier pretended to go didn't even communicate with me and went on attending other customers even as I stood waiting for an answer. It wasn't till I asked again she made up some random excuse. I asked her for a refund and she stalled still asking if I could wait a little longer for my order. I politely said no I just want my money. Couldn't even get my money back on my card she asked if she could do cash. Point being this is the worst Wingstop and customer service! Every single time I try to give this Wingstop a chance it disappoints more each time. This place needs more staff. It's always so backed up and they are always complaining about how busy they are. Amongst employees they say "don't answer the phones anymore, we can't do any more orders, we're drained". Hello Management your employees need help!! The customer service at this location is terrible. We have ordered online for pick up a few times and will not be back. There is never any ice and the drink station is incredibly gross. I feel icky as soon as I walk in. The wings are always way overdone and the teenagers running the joint do not give a crap this is a reflection on them but most of all the owner who lets them get away with the place being run in this manner. read more

The customer service here sucks! We got there right when it opened and were the first people in the door. Two of my buddies ordered before me and when it was my turn she gave me a sigh like she was already burned out and told me it would take 1/2 hour to get me 8 wings. When I asked if there was any unsweet tea available she made no eye contact and barked at me that she wasn't done with it yet. People were continually turned away after 3 tables were full because she told them the wait would be an hour. They looked at the tables with a confused look on their face and walked out.
