This is my go to spot for lemon pepper wings. There are always crispy and very tasty. The other wings are hit and miss sometimes. I don't know if the description matches the flavors when I bite into some of these wings. Go extra crispy on the other flavors to ensure crispiness. I normally have a good experience when I go to this location but today was a little different. I placed my order online and had it scheduled for a 3pm pick-up. I walked in at 3:05pm and no staff was at the front. Nor did I see any orders on the shelf for pick-up. A minute later , a young man appeared asking me how could he help me. I told him I had a pick-up for 3pm so he walks over to the tickets that's waiting to be made and laughs as he points to it. He informed his colleague that it hadn't been made yet. At that point I told him my order should be free since they couldn't honor my pick-up time. There was clearly no customers in the restaurant at all. He started going back and forth with me about the order being free! Mind you it was already paid for online. Tacky customer service! I asked for the manager who never once apologized for the delay. She just proceeded to give me wings that had been sitting and fries that were cold. Wings are ok. I'm originally from northwestern Pennsylvania (not far from Buffalo, NY) so I have pretty high standards for wings. They're made to order (unlike places like Zaxby's), so you have to wait a little bit for them... But at least they're crispy when you get them... The garlic Parmesan are good, but I wish they'd use freshly grated Parmesan and chopped garlic instead of that pre-grated Parmesan and garlic powder... Their regular Buffalo wings aren't even remotely hot (I know, heat is a persona thing)... They're fries are good. I think the seasoning has some type of sugar (brown or turbinado)... They're probable the best fast food wing place around, but definitely not the best wings around... I find it amazing that reviews for here are remotely positive, start to finish a bad experience. I ordered a 20 count wing and asked for all drums. Which when signing my credit card receipt I saw was a 2 dollar up charge, that Shannon did not mention when ordering it nor is it anywhere on the menu. No other wing place that I have ever been to has such a charge. It is less about the amount and more about the intentional blindside. Both by the staffer and the corporate menu. My two flavors were Lemon pepper and Cajun. The lemon pepper was extremely oily, rather than a more dry like rub. The Cajun was a kin to an original flavored wing with some stale blackened season sprinkled in. They got the one and only 20 bucks I or anyone I know of will spend in the place. read more

My partner and I frequent this location often, normally we are extremely satisfied with our meal, however our most recent experience this past Sunday has begun to cloud our outlook. We walked in Sunday afternoon around 4:30 to order in. When we arrived there was a young lady in line before us with, I am assuming, her younger sibling. As they placed their order we overheard that the young lady only had enough funds for a few wings without any dipping sauce. The young lady completed her order and took a seat. We approached the register and ordered a 30 piece boneless combo with fires and drinks. We purchased additional sauces and asked for them to be given to the young lady before us. The team member acknowledged our request and informed us of a wait, 15-20 minutes. We took our seat and awaited our meal. 30 minutes had now passed and we noticed that customers who ordered after us now had their food. I made my way to the pickup window and spoke with a team member who advised that they were waiting on our fries and everything would be out in 5 minutes or less. 15 more minutes have now passed and still no food. A team member walked up, recognizing that we had been seated for almost an hour without food, and asked for the name on the order. She made her way to the kitchen and immediately brought out our food. On the tray, wings, fries, sauce's and all of the extra sauces we ordered for the young lady in front of us who is long gone. We were so hungry and just the sight of food made all aggravation dissipate. I shove a couple of fries in my mouth only to find them room temperature, my partner had eaten a wing and also identified it as cold. While we were frustrated, we decided that it was not worth waiting again for a new meal. We continued to eat. My partner, now on his third wing, looks to me and says, 'I think this chicken is under-cooked' We cut open 2 more wings to find what appeared to be raw chicken. We made our way to the counter and expressed, quietly to avoid a restaurant uproar, that the food was not cooked through. The staff member acknowledged that the food was not cooked thoroughly and offered to remake our meal.... but we would wait 15-20 minutes...fearing that the promised 15-20 minutes would be 15 -20 Football minutes we opted for a refund. The team member agreed. She processed the refund but refused to refund our drinks as we had sipped from them as we waited... for an hour, for cold, under-cooked food! We sent a message via Wing Stop's website explaining the chain of events and have yet to receive an acknowledgement. It's not about the 5 dollars in drinks, its about the time spent and the carelessness to make things right. We will likely not return. read more

I became hungry last night and wanted something good to eat. I made a stop at autozone then I started looking for food. There is was in front of me "Wing stop"! I've seen enough of the commercial and I always wanted to try them because they look so good on tv. I pulled in and ordered the Louisiana rub. Got my order and went back to the office to relax and enjoy some good wings. As I begin to unpack the contents of the bag, a co worker walks by my office door to says he smelled something good. I told him it was wing stop and immediately he told me how good the food is. It was at that same moment I decided to take a bite of the chicken. speechless. THIS WAS THE WORST PIECE OF CHICKEN I've ever tasted! I don't know anything about prison food but I believe if they served this in prison...better yet, this is what I would expect prison food to taste like. The chicken smelled bad due to the bucket of grease at the bottom of the container. The chicken had no flavor, and no taste what so ever other than bad. It was like eating 10 year old cardboard dipped in Clorox, which begs the question of whether it was chicken at all. It was the worst dining experience of my life. I can't confirm if all the wing stop food is this unacceptable, but the one off New Bern (64) near the Walmart shopping center in Knight Dale NC need FDA investigation. Nice outside patio area, was able to enjoy lunch with the dogs, before we even sat down at the table the staff noticed us and brought out water for the dogs and that immediately showed they cared and go out of the way for guests.
