I placed a pickup order as I was leaving for a lengthy commute and did not have time for delivery before I began my trip. My plan was to pick up the order and eat it while on my commute/travel. When picking up my order I wasn't acknowledged right away. There was a woman that was focused on her task of cooking. There were 3 people in the back and they should have noticed me as I walked in ( because they were facing the door although they were positioned in the far back). One of the men walked towards the front. Yelling across asking for my name. The professional thing to do would have been to walk over and ask to see the confirmation on my phone. As he hands me my bag he then hands me a cup and says he didn't have a top for the cup. How do you NOT have a top for cups. At this point I now CANNOT fill my cup because I have to now travel by car and try not to spill a soft drink in my car. The disappointing part of this interaction was there was no solution. I'm not sure if there were any other size cup with lids. I wish this was the end however it gets worse. As I am driving I realize that the bag was not sealed correctly. The sticker was not affixed to seal the bag. Needless to say while on the road heading towards my destination, I reached in the bag to realize that the fries were not wrapped inside with the chicken (in the box with chicken), nor were they wrapped in a box of its own , or not even wrapped in aluminum foil. I mentioned to the counter person that this was my first visit, and she politely mentioned some of the lunch options. I took advantage of the $5 lunch special which included 5 bone or boneless wings in your choice of sauce, fries with a choice of seasonings, and a beverage. Ranch or blue cheese for dipping is $ .79 extra. All food is cooked to order, and was done with minimal waiting. I had a barbecue sauce for the boneless wings and cajun seasoning on the fries. This location is across from the WalMart, in more or less the same parking lot, directly next to a Dollar Tree. Expect an entertainingly variable range of clientele, some of whom seem to have stepped right out of the "People of WalMart" shame site. I guess you gotta get comedy material somewhere. Anyhow, don't plan a romantic date here, but do stop in for a tasty quick meal or grab a bucket of wings to go for your next party. They have a phone app and a web site, and ordering ahead works really well either for eating in or picking up a to go order. This place is located in a very unassuming run down looking strip by Walmart, however the inside is well kept and clean. I received some of the best customer service at this particular Wing Stop the other night. Her name was Sabrina, shift leader extraordinaire. She made awesome menu suggestions and it did not feel like upselling. She even went out of her way to run next door to buy balloons for my friends birthday who was with me and she heard us joking about his birthday. She was amazing, the food was amazing and under normal circumstances we would not have stayed to eat wings but we did and it was quite comfortable in this spot.
