Newer establishment that is located in the shopping center on the Northeast corner of 32nd & Greenway road (across from McDonald's). Excited to see a Wingstop in the Northeast Valley, since the last time I visited was like 10 years ago in the Arcadia-Phoenix Neighborhood. Nice to revisit after so many years and from I can remember the recipe has not changed, which is a good thing! Today I went with the Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parmesan bone in wings! He got mad at me and started talking down to me saying they're working on it and blamed it on the fryers being cleaned. I Asked him why they would be cleaning the fryers at this point and that it's hurting business and he starts to go off on me saying "NoT tO QuEsTiOn HiM oN HiS sToRe" and that I can leave and he was gonna call the cops on me for talking to him the way I was. Like... holy shit I wasn't even yelling. Not once did I call him a name. Not once did I even raise my voice. I've worked customer service, fast food, fine dinning, management. I've done it all. I will never talk to someone the way I'd hate to be talked to especially if it's not asked for. And I probably should have with the amount of disrespect that I got. And I regret not raising my voice and being a major "Karen/b*tch" like I probably should have. The other lady was trying to help. Hopefully she knew her manager was being stupid. But at this point the little boy is mocking me, making fun of me. (He really felt the need to threaten to call the cops because I said the "f" word out of frustration and wasn't even towards him and that I was questioning him lol) he continued to Talk sh*t to me and tell me to get out... so yeah my partner lost her cool and knocked their ketchup box over... I mean they wanted to call the cops, so why not give them a reason. He was refusing to give us a refund or our food. So you know, it got heated in there. We ended up walking out after that. Called corporate and got our refund and let them know what happened. One hour for 2 chicken sandwiches, one order of voodoo fries and 8 wings... one hour for such a small order. I'm still dumbfounded by how I was treated and talked to when I didn't even raise my voice. I wasn't rude. I wasn't any kind of "Karen" for anyone to have treated me that way. I know my review won't really go anywhere and I'm sure those kids will keep their jobs even though they shouldn't. But if I can keep people from going in there and getting treated the same way, I will. Go to the one on bell or any other WingStop.
