Wingstop has great wings but their delivery packaging leaves a lot to be desired. It's frankly terrible and creates a huge mess. Firstly, with an order for two people with saucy wings there were exactly NO NAPKINS AT ALL! The veggie sticks (which are obviously kept fresh in cold water) were wrapped, dripping with water in PAPER, which they saturated and bled through to the PAPER TRAY they were placed in. That also became saturated and created a soggy disaster when unloading from the bag, which had also become wet. How much deductive reasoning was required to consider that dripping wet vegetables would soak through paper products? Perhaps a pat down with paper towels would be a better way and then wrapping in foil? I hate to take away stars for such errors but it made such a huge soggy, still watery mess on my table and got all over the other items including the fries. They were an unfortunate casualty. Do not recommend during the night shift. The wings are never fresh despite asking for fresh wings. They are greasy, and refried to heat. If you want hot, fresh delicious wings, this is not the spot. read more

Mixed review for sure. We came here with a family of 5 which is also abnormal for us but we considered dining in because we just moved here. We assumed it was going to be amazing because it was packed (it's a Saturday) so that might be the weekend payday norm and no complaints because they were fairly quick . There is about 10 people working in the back and there were 2 people taking orders. The customer service was great but a few things that that hindered the experience was the fact that they ran out of ice, the chicken was so overcooked and very under sauced. The fries were fresh which was great and the lady that brought us our food was so kind. There wasn't a huge area to dine in. I think about four or five tables. They did have high chairs which was a blessing because we had a baby. I would not recommend dining in, obviously with a larger family due to how packed it was, and people that are waiting are sitting at the table. But I am might give it another try. read more

The employee at the front was great with taking our orders and his customer service was good but the wait time was really long and when our food finally came out the wings were flavorless and the traditional wings a bit too hard. TYPICAL CHILD MANAGEMENT & CHILD HELP PLACE....I waited over 40 minutes for my takeout order...while the 'staff' children in back laughed, joked and shoved each other around...! It's a shame that such a great concept with great flavor profiles is so terribly executed at the College Road location in Ocala, FL. Utter confusion with many employees not accomplishing much of anything. I had ordered 6 wings with celery/carrots online. It took 15 minutes after I got there to receive the order after speaking with the counter person on several occasions. He seem confused. The order had been put together but was left there on the counter while another bigger different order was put together so ultimately my wings were cold. They also forgot to put the carrots and ranch in the bag so I had to go back and ask for the dip but didn't realize the carrots were missing until I got home. Overall, the place was a wreck. I ordered an 8 wing combo w/fries a drink and blue cheese, I also ordered a chicken sandwich combo w/fries and a drink. 1st of all we waited for 40 minutes before we even got the food. Am I crazy or do the wings look like they belong to baby chickens? Anyway I ate the chicken wings w/the blue cheese and I mean to tell you 10 minutes after I was finished, I was sick as a DOG! I don't know if the blue cheese was bad or if it was due to the food being cooked in old grease! I don't think it was the chicken cus they were selling a lot of it, so it had to be the blue cheese or old grease. All I know is I was so sick to my stomach with diarrhea and cramps! I was shaking with the sweats! I don't know what was wrong with that food, but I do know I will NEVER, EVER EAT THERE AGAIN IN LIFE!! I'm going to have that food tested to see if it's spoiled or just plain old bad food they're selling! So please buyers be aware something is not kosher with their food! Eat it at your own risk and be careful to check it out thoroughly, smell the food, ask questions like when was the dressings last prepared or when was the last time the grease was changed. Plus these days with covid knocking us out for the count, you don't know who's sick and who's not sick working up in these restaurants. Not knowing how fresh the food is can be a detrimental to your health too, so don't just take it for granted that all the food is fresh just cus you're hungry! The WINGSTOP in ocala needs to be shut down immediately! I had the worst experience ever yesterday jist trying to get some wings for my son birthday....... I have never a restaurant with so many negative reviews. They took a hour to get my wings and it would took even longer if i did not speak up and why the wait was so long. The girl never took down my name and instead juat gave me a receipt with just 3 digit order number. When i ask the guy about it he was confused and did not even know how to find a order using that number. I even told the girl before to make sure you have my name on it cause she never did ask for my name for whatever reason... Then they ask the manager which claims she not a manager and said there all managers... That girl so rude and lazy never seen someone so careless in my life. They did not apologize or offer any drink or fries for waiting in there for a hour. They even laugh when i asked about that. Never seen such sick and rude employees in my life. Even all the customers were on my side and mad there orders were taking long but nowhere long as mind. It freaking hell in there. And the manager who claims she not moving so slow without a care in the world. So now they have to rush to make my order because they claim they cant find it. So i have to wait even longer. I would just walk out and get my money back but i was already running late to my sons birthday. Something has to been done with that place. The service is not good almost downright nasty. The place not clean and the front workers looked unkept. I'm not sure where the owners are but they need to see what is going on. I put my order in at 4:35 for pick up at 5:15. Arrived at 5:10 and they said they were bagging it and it would just a bit. Stepped out of the way and let other people put in the order. Every 10 minutes I asked if the order was ready. The people who put the order in at 5:10-5:30 all had their orders. So at 5:50 I asked when it was going to get ready. at 6:00 pm the order was handed to me and I shook my head. And the manager said "He Mad" and the line workers started to laugh. Unbelievable. The voodoo fries were amazing, VERY SEASONED and delicious. My boyfriend ordered seasoned fries....guess they forgot to season them. We both ordered our wings well done.....the skin was still soft on them, so I popped them in my air fryer for 10 min. The fries were actually a bit undercooked too. If you are just too busy, at least have the decency to pick up the phone and say "sorry were swamped, call back in an hour" of something. Simply never answering the phone is ridiculous. first off, when I first walked in the cashier was rude while me and boyfriend ordered. At the time they Weren't busy and we were the only people in there. When we ordered we waited for a good 45 minutes for our 2 meals. 4 people went on break at once about 10 mins after we ordered. We could see only 3 people working And they ended up getting busy. Our order came out and sat there for 30 minutes and we finally got annoyed and they could tell. We waited another 15 minuted For the cashier to hand it to us.
