1-12-19 - 6:25pm Ordered online. Website says "your order will be ready in 16 - 21 minutes." "You will get an email confirmation shortly" I open up my email and I think, great! The Wingstop order email is right there. I open it up and it is a summary of my order along with a time my order will be ready. It says, pick up your order at 6:43. I think this is great and boy, 6:43, they sure are efficient to be able to give me an exact time to pick up, to the minute. I wait to leave my house until 6:35 so that I will be there by about 6:50 (15 minute drive). I figure, if they're efficient enough to give me a to-the-minute pick up time, the least I could do was give them a few minutes for any hiccups. So I get to the store, wait my turn at the counter and get a bad feeling as I see the chaos behind the counter and the unhappy faces of the people standing around, waiting. As soon as I tell the lady at the counter I had an online order, her face changes as she takes my card for payment. She turns around and says something to the runner. Not sure what, but I can hear the runner tell her "It's going to be a few more minutes". As she turns back to me, she is speaking to herself, saying, "It's going to be a lot more than a few minutes". She looks annoyed at the runner. Then proceeds to ask me if I would like a drink while I wait, as she hands me the receipt to sign. I then press her for a wait time. Guess what? My order will not be ready for another 30 minutes. What??? Yup. Mind you, by this time it's already after 7pm. So, let's do the math. Order at 6:25pm. Their idiotic, optimistic, to the minute pick up time was 6:43 (18 minutes later). It is now after 7 (at least 17 minutes after original pick up time), and now it's going to take at least another 30 minutes to process my order?!?!? That's almost 3 times longer than the original, to the minute pick up time I was given!!! How the hell do they expect return business doing people like this? So, does the shitty service end there? Of course not! Unfazed by the chaos of that location, I think, well I'll just ask for a refund and be done. So that's what I do. Mind you, the cashier took my payment in less than 30 seconds. The refund was at least another 10 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me and TELL me that the manager was going to give me a refund, and that was only after I had to raise my voice to the cashier and runner, as they had been ignoring me from the time I asked for a refund. So I asked "When is he going to do that?" and I clearly heard the "manager" state, "Tell him I am going to do it later." I was so fed up with this place at that point that I just asked her to write that on my receipt and have the "manager" sign it. I look at the receipt after she hands it to me and it states that I will get my money back in 3 - 5 days. At this point I just want to get the hell out of there and that's what I do. In summary, the website experience is fine. The confirmation email arrived promptly. The problem is that this company is either being deceptive, knowingly giving out sweetened pickup times to get customers "trapped" in their orders (I mean, their wings are pretty good), or the online team and individual store teams do not have a clue as to how to communicate with each other. Either way, it's bad business. I don't appreciate being given the "bait and switch" treatment. In addition, the store team, and especially the manager, was in over its head in the operations department and in the customer experience department. Hopefully Wingstop will do something about both soon, as I was not the only unhappy customer there (I must have counted about 10 others). As for me, I'll still patronize Wingstop because I really like their wings. But only when I make Wingstop a destination (this doesn't happen often). If I have the need to order online (which is most oftentimes), Wingstop will be flat out last on my list. My experience sucked. And for this manager's sake, I hope he processed my refund last night. read more

Zero stars. Worst Wingstop I've ever been to. I waited an hour for an order that should have been ready in "16 to 20min." The cashier gave me the drinks right after I paid so by the time I got the food I wanted a new drink because why would I want to take home a flat coke with melted ice that had been sitting out 45 min? The cashier gave me an attitude for asking for a new coke and didn't even fill the cup up all the way. The worst part is when I finally got my order the fries and half of the wings were COLD, and not like lukewarm, they were literally cold as if they'd been sitting out for at least 30 min. A lot of people are mad with the hours being shortened, but I think the workers are doing the best they can. Came in to place an order and noticed there were only two workers, a girl with blue hair in the front and a cook in the back. Reason for the 3 star is their website declines online orders during specified times for some reason, which wouldn't be an issue since they have a phone, right? This location NEVER answers their phone. Called 5 times in the span of 30 minutes last month making sure to not space it out, assumed they were busy. They never picked up. Happens every time now. Reviewing now because the same thing is happening on their site and calls are going to an automated system after about 20 seconds of ringing. There were several other people waiting on orders when I arrived, which I knew was a bad sign.
