It took about 20 minutes to get our order. The girl at the counter was okay, quiet, no greeting or anything. Pleasant enough during ordering. The cleanliness of this place is definitely nonexistent. The soda machine looked so gross I passed on the drink. The tables needed cleaning, the bathroom was disgusting. If I was ordering out and hadn't gone in, I might give this place 4 or 5 stars, but, I am still disgusted thinking about it. Completely unacceptable behavior from one employee, blonde with arm tattoos her name was Cindy, Cidney, Sydney, Cindi, not 100% how to spell her name. She was openly rude to a trainee after expressing it was his first day. She refused to help train him, and was short and loud with customers. She claimed she was "too busy," to help him, then walked outside and stood out there for several minutes. The other kitchen staff followed her, leaving the trainee alone to run the front with one other employee taking phone calls and no orders being made. This was lazy, unprofessional, and showed zero teamwork. Abandoning a new employee and customers to stand outside is not okay. This reflects poorly on management and needs to be addressed immediately. The training employee was incredibly nice and apologetic for the wait. read more

Came in and placed my order for 15 wings, all flats with fries and another order for 10 wings all flats with fries. I was told before I placed my order that the wait would be 30 minutes. I requested they cooked for 28 minutes. Our order was placed at 1:29 PM. I sat at the two seater table located next to the view through window where the cooks are. After 18 minutes, I saw the girl who was making the wings say my name. The girl who took my order pointed to the receipt and told her something that I couldn't make out. The wings sat for 10 minutes before the girl who took my order, started trying to put them on a tray. I tapped on the window and asked if those was on my wings and she shook her head yes. I immediately demanded a refund. First off, my wings were not cooked for as long as I requested them to be, and then they sat getting cold because they did not want to give them to me before the time I had requested them to be cooked for. Even with lots of staff the restaurant was falling behind. Wished there was another location available. The restaurant is small and very busy. This location used to be amazing. The last two or three times we've ordered for pick up, there have been issues. Today was no exception. As the "manager" is handing me the cheese sauce, she says "hope your next visit is better" in a very sarcastic tone of voice. Will I continue to be a customer of wing stop? ABSOLUTELY!!! Will I return to this location? Definitely not. San Marcos has two locations with great service and I have to wait 20-30 minutes before picking up no matter what location I order from. Now went around lunch time so we were well aware of the wait time and figured it would be okay since we had absolutely nothing to do this day. Long wait (40 mins), over cooked food, wrong food, no soft drinks available, dirty restaurant. This place is always busy on weekend evenings but so are other Wingstop locations. The people that placed orders did not have to wait at all compared to what in store counter orders waited. Their travel time to pickup their order was less time than what we waited to be served. No apology or free tea like a pickup person was given. An order is usually an 18-20 min wait. We waited more than 35 minutes. All people coming in were young people. My husband and I are an older couple . IMO this place prefers younger people to be their patrons especially based on the wait time.This is just an observation but it looked that way to me. Sometimes they have good and smart people working there but sometimes they have employees who dont have any idea what they are doing and consequently we pay the price with a wrong order.
