They take way to long to process your order. They're not equipped to handle how busy they get. Mobile order doesn't speed up your pick up time. Not good for someone that wants to eat within an hour. I called in an order and the first issue was being put on hold for about 10 minutes then after the girl took my order she read it back to me which was pointless because they didn't get the right order anyways, then when I called back to see what they could do they wanted the incorrect wings back just to replace them when they don't reimburse for gas or anything so how is that fair that when they mess up on an order the customer has to pay even more? Today was my first time at Wingstop and having read good reviews on Yelp! I was hopeful that it would be at least decent. Although, when a lady came in to return all the food she had ordered the night before, I became uneasy. I ordered the 6 piece half mild and half BBQ to split with my mom. When I got out to the car and opened the box a wall of intense smell of vinegar and hot sauce hit me in the face, went up my nose, singed my nose hairs and I believe I got at least 2nd degree chemical burns in my nasal passages. My eyes watered and my throat hurt for at least a half an hour. I took 2 bites of each flavor and it just tasted like vinegar to me. The lady that took her food back said she had been there before and it was good, but that the quality had gone way down. Perhaps they have a new cook, or a cook that just stopped caring? First of all they shoved all 15 of my wings into one container with just thin paper separating all 3 flavors. The mild ones were barely sauced you couldn't even tell it was supposed to be mild they were so plain. The attitude of the shift manager is outrageous. I should not have had to ask for them to put more sauce on my mild classic wings. It's not a dry rub. They were so dry they weren't even red lol. I asked politely and the attitude I got was insane. I shouldn't have had to sit there and ask in the first place, they should have been sauced correctly to begin with especially with these prices. If I wanted some shitty under cooked wings with shit customer service I would've had them delivered from a pizza place and paid a lot less. No wonder the dining room was empty. The potato salad is top notch. Really delicious. It was the only tasty item we ended up with. The mild wings were tender and juicy, but way too salty and weirdly sour. They were an interesting contrast to the garlic parmesan wings, which were dry like a desert in my mouth, and bland. The seasoned fries were sweeter than they were salty. I've never had sweet fries before. They reminded me of the sugary chicken pot pie I had in NYC last year. We asked for the baked beans, but they weren't serving them anymore, which was disappointing. The vegetable sticks were fresh and crunchy, but these people need to invest in a salad spinner, as the vegetables were dripping wet. They diluted the already runny ranch dip. But that was okay, because the dip was too salty anyway. Two stars because the staff were very pleasant and helpful people, and I actually am planning on stopping by here again just for the potato salad. read more

First, let me preface by saying that I've never stepped foot in a Wing Stop before, in fact, I had never been in any "wing" place until I went to a Buffalo Wild Wings in Albuquerque while living there a few years ago. So comparing WS to BWW? WS is a dump! At least this location. I guess it's not really fair to compare because BWW is more of a sports bar/restaurant while WS is just a plain, small room with tables. Nothing to it. Service was mediocre. Wings were very plain. We got some version of a hot wing but the sauce is baked in so it comes out dry. You do get a cup of sauce to pour on yourself. That helped but it was still just a basic wing. We also got fries but they got cold half way through. Coleslaw was OK. Soda machine was out of ice. Someone had to come from the back with two buckets of ice to pour in. He did this approx six times. Now, normally, most people would probably say they'd never go back for these reasons. I'm not saying that. I actually wouldn't mind going back to give it another try, sampling other flavors of wings, especially since they're rolling out Mango Habanero on Monday (they gave us a free sample). The Mango Habanero wasn't bad, I still think I like BWW better, but it wasn't bad. Needed a little more heat for me. The one thing that really got to me was that this place was filthy!!! EVERY empty table was filled with trash! The floor had crap all over it. I don't know if they were short handed or what but the place only had a few tables filled. If you come here, you're going to have to like the food and put up with the rest. It's not an enjoyable place to eat. It might be best to take to go. 22 JUL 2013 - We ordered to-go our first time here around 7 PM. The wait wasn't too long for us (~30 mins. for 30 pc. family pack...they promised ~21 mins.), but it really depends on your patience. Others seemed to have been fed up with waiting too long, even though we had similar time frames (I heard their complaints). Plus, it's a relatively new establishment. As for the food, the wings were decent, but the fries were definitely under-seasoned. However, it's a Wingstop closer to home & I will try it again to see if they improve. read more

I've never written a review before, but Wingstop has the best customer service I've ever received, so they deserve 5 stars. Took my food home and realized they gave me the wrong flavor, went back with receipt and politely pointed out the issue and they immediately reacted by making a complete new order (15 wings + fries) and threw in 5 extra wings, also offered additional sides and drinks while we waited for the new food to be cooked. She said hunny, these people really took pride in there work everyone was so nice even though they were so busy . Moreover , she even noticed that 2 people came in on there day off to help ! Wow! Customer Service is Trash. The Cashier/ Manager Norma harassed me to place my order even though there was no one here. I decided to dine in because its my day off and I'm in no rush. Don't ever be in no rush when you come to this location because is an 18-24 min wait for everything according to Norma. So long story short my chicken wasn't done . It was chewy and not cooked completely(unable to be consumed). So I let Norma know my good wasn't done. She was very rude and combative (ready to argue). She was like it looks done to me a refused to replace food. After she made a scene and tried to embarrass me she decides that she's gonna replace my 10pc but she's only going to replace 3 pc and it's gonna be 24 mins. I left the entire order without eating. When I tried to contact the district manager she did not answer her phone and the voice mail is full. Which leads me to believe they mess up people food all the time. read more

Do not purchase gift cards from the Merced Wing Stop. Even if purchased directly from their store, they have issues honoring them. The Manager said my gift card did not work but charged it for the full price anyway and charged me cash. Owner refused to even hear the situation out even when receipts were provided to him and accused me of trying to get a free meal. I am not sure if it's common for an employee to write a review about the behind the scenes, but I feel like I need to say this on my employers behalf. I have been working for wingstop for about 8 months now. It is not a fast food facility though we do our absolute best to get everything out asap. With that being said all of our employees are always giving their 100% and I admire them for their hard work and dedication even on their bad days whether it be a problem at home or an internal problem. Everything is very clean and made fresh. Our leaders at this particular store deserve a round of applause for all of their hard work. Because of this company I have been able to see what real customer service is, and I can't thank them enough for opening that door for me. I love the food though I think I may have had to much of it by now, but that comes with anywhere that you work with food. I just really admire my coworkers, leaders, and owners for always giving it their all.
