By 830pm he's telling me they did not have the order so he asked me to send it to him. By then I called and spoke to a boy who asked me for my name and said he just "reprinted the receipt" that the food would be ready in 10-15 minutes. 3. I called back just to cancel the order because it had taken so long and the girl I was now speaking to told me I could not get a refund because the order was placed online, which makes no sense so, I asked why? Rude gangster working at this place. One customer ordered early before the super bowl game. This nasty cashier said that they didn't have his order because there machines had been having issues. Customer said please get my order ASAP. She said no because they are working on other others. She said it would be 1 hour or you can get your money back and shop elsewhere. Because of this I canceled my order and asked for a refund. Nasty and rude employees are not supposed to be in the customer service area. So coming from a food service employee perspective, there's a few things this location does wrong: 1) Some employees are not wearing face masks properly (have them only covering their mouth, but not their nose). Whether you believe in science or not, restaurant regulations are pretty strict on health and safety. 2) Employees do not wear gloves when handling food, frying food, or preparing food. Nor are they washing their hands in between dealing with customers' money, food exchanges, mopping, etc and working with the food itself. 3) Employees openly ridicule customers, but they don't believe they are being heard. You are being heard, and are upsetting your customers that you have waiting in the lobby. I get needing to vent about customers from time to time, but do that off hours, and not in front of that same customer. The food I ordered, though, was good. I was terrified trying it considering all the health concerns, but I was pretty tired and hungry after working a night shift myself, plus I had already paid for it. The fries looked very dark, but coming from food service experience, that just tells me water got in the fry bag which caused the potatoes to oxidize. The wings were good, simple Wing Stop quality flavoring. They definitely needed to toss them in the sauce more because mine were pretty bare (photo attached). All in all, the food taste wasn't enough to turn me on to the idea that this is a good location considering the health/safety concerns and the negative banter of the employees. Their fries with that sugary/salty topping makes it different from other fries I've had and dipping it in the ranch is delicious. There are a few reasons why I am not giving the location 5 stars. First, I have been to many Wingstop locations and 90% of them have their thermostat set to 60°. Why people, why??!!! Is it because you want us leave? Do you not want us to be comfortable while we eat? It's so damn cold, you need to wear a ski jacket. Second, sometimes there are no open/clean tables because they take forever to clean them. Went to the Hacienda Blvd location in La Puente. Surprised by how empty it was, but still had to wait for someone to help me. One employee told another someone is waiting and she snapped at him, but still didn't help me. Arrived 5 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready but still waited another 15 minutes. While waiting I could hear the employees laughing and playing and cussing at each other. I'm all about having fun, but it was like nobody cared. I was almost afraid to take the food home wondering what they might have done to the food while they all goofed off. Another customer walked in and had to wait for her order. I would give this location ZERO stars if I could; unfortunately that is not an option. This location use to be my Wingstop up until last week. A female employee who claims to be a manager made a big deal over a request that was made to exchange one of our ranches for an original hot sauce. This isn't an option on the app so upon arrival the request was made, and she refused to exchange. To begin with I don't even know if she is a manager because she lied about her name when I made a complaint. They said they didn't know who I was talking about because no "Jessica" works there. I am very understanding about no substitutes, but I am furious because this was never a problem up until my husband went to pick up and requested the exchanged of sauces. She is sexist and it is very clear that her preference is the opposite sex. She is very unprofessional and always full of hickeys which looks so disgusting and not a great look on a "manager". She is also always flirting and getting touchy with the female employees. This is why I believe she is sexist, she was always friendly and even gave me extras when I requested them. Why was it an issue when my husband made the same request. She claimed it was a rule, so I asked her when it was implemented and she said she didn't know.
