Came here on a Friday Night to watch a Laker Game. The Owner, Diablo was extremely friendly and frequently went around the place to check on customers. You can tell he cares about the customer experience and holds a high standard when it comes to that. The servers were very nice as well. Really sad that I can't come here anymore because I really enjoyed their food... and even had my birthday party here... but last night was crossing the line for me because 1) my fiancé and I were the only ones in the place and the servers were with their friends/family drinking and playing games not really paying attention to us and kept going outside for smoke breaks and we had to keep waiting to ask for stuff 2) the 2nd time I got water there was a roach egg in my glass inside so I'm assuming it was in the ice machine so my fiancé gave me his glass but even that was questionable 3) after seeing the roach egg we saw an actual roach on the serving plates behind the bar 4) the roach jumped onto our plate and started walking on our chopsticks and that's when I asked for the check, paid and left... The reason I still paid for my check is because by the time all this happened I had already ate my dumplings and 80% of my food so who knows if anything was in my soup... but it wasn't worth the fight since the new staff barley spoke English and I'm just not a confrontational person so sad to see this place constantly changing out management and never having consistency... the food the only reason I enjoyed going here but sad to say I won't be going back after this... read more

Definitely a nice hole in the wall local late night place if you don't wanna venture all the way somewhere into Rowland Heights in a fisted plaza. Plenty of parking and service here is great! Kept checking in on us. There's music booming with a jukebox you can choose music at, a bar (or they bring your drinks to you), multiple TV's playing the sports ball or a fight going on, 2 billiard tables, darts, 3 beer pong tables, and big Jenga. Lots of stuff to do and lots of tables and chairs too if you just wanna chill. I believe you have to order at least one thing to be able to use these facilities and darts cost a dollar for each round after you borrow darts from the front. We got the: 1) 10 Piece Wing Combo + Fries: -You get to choose 2 flavors for this. -We got the honey bourbon and mango habanero. -I thought the mango habanero wasn't that spicy, just a nice latent heat after the initial mango flavor, but other people thought it was pretty spicy and hard to eat. -Honey bourbon was really good, not overly sweet honey flavor with a smoky note to it too. Really liked this one. -The wings were sizeable and chicken meat was moist. -I'm usually not a fan of western chicken wings, but these were pretty good. -Comes with a small side of steak fries that were piping hot. Nicely crispy on the outside. Went great with ketchup and really wish that I had more of these to munch on. 2) Jalapeno Poppers: -Comes with 6 pieces. -Deep fried with slightly crisp breading and a small slice of jalapeno inside. -Not cream cheese, but kinda like the cheddar cheese microwave poppers. -Not bad, bro really liked these. The bartender was spot on either way recommending 12 wings and tater tots to share. Both were very good. I wish the sauce selection was better. We were happy this place reopened but under new owners, they wouldn't let us play pool, citing some insurance policy and theres no more darts either. Newer Yelp reviews raved about their chicken wings but they taste horrible that our party of 6 didn't even finish it. There is a separate Chinese menu. The food was decent. YES PUHLEEEEAAZ This spot used to be old corner tavern...that never really did too well, but it was the local watering hole...and so if you wanted to get together without going too far, this was the place...by default. After a recent ownership change and a facelift, Wings on Tap is now our PREFERRED spot to go to. The menu is on the name..Wings...and beer. :) You walk in through the main doors and are welcomed to a pretty sick wall piece with the Wings On Tap logo, already a sign of good things to come. Plenty of space inside, be it small tables, bar space, or a big table for a big group, which they have several of...so getting together in a bigger group wouldn't be a problem down the line. Wings are awesome here...every flavor I've tried so far...buffalo, mango habanero, asian zing, lemon pepper...they've all been great. The wings are crispy on the outside, but not overcooked...the inside is still moist and tender, exactly what you want in your wings. I know they're expanding their wing options, but even if these were the only ones available, I'd come here everytime for my wing fix. The tater tots are pretty dang good too; nice and crispy and a good amount of salt Tap...what good is a wing spot with out drinks? They have a decent selection of beers and wine on hand. My preferred is the MangoCart by Golden Road, because...if you've never had it on tap, then you have been missing out big time. Anyway, they have a good selection...I think the have Goose Island IPA, and they even have truly on tap...which I haven't seen in many places. The BIG plus is that this is truly a SPORTS BAR. One big drawback to the old spot was that they didn't have the capability to show Dodger games and even other sports...and who wants to go to a bar with TV's and not be able to watch sports? Well the last few times we've gone, it's been strictly for football games, but the Laker game was showing the last time out...so this will be a GREAT place to watch sports. Not to mention they have a bunch of football helmet decals up on the big projection TV wall...so DEFINITELY a spot to go watch some sports over some beer and wings. I know they're opening up the menu to include other items, but again, if the wings were the only thing on the menu, that wouldn't deter me one bit, because yes, they are THAT good. Parking - plentiful; it's in the CVS plaza off Nogales and La Puente, but on the eastern corner of the plaza. But parking I don't think should be an issue for anyone. Service - Service is quick and servers friendly enough. Our food came out quickly and the staff came by constantly to clear our table of trash and refill our drinks or take more orders for wings. The owners are super cool and always available for a chat and will provide their recs on request. We recently visited this bar on the weekend. The crowd was chill. Some karaoke singers were good! They even had a Dash Berlin's song, too, surprisingly. I live right around the corner from this place, walking distance, and it's sooooo fun! The owners are so hospitable that it makes it 10 times better. The beer, soju, and food are all very great! Wow!!! We went here last night and our party couldn't stop complimenting this place! First off, it's a sports bar with plenty of TVs and a projector to watch the big game. The Lakers were playing against the Clippers yesterday and we had a great view of the game no matter where we sat at. The entire staff, including the owners, were super friendly. They came by often to check if we needed anything and our beers were never empty. They also have live DJs on Saturdays and karaoke on Wednesdays, free pool everyday for customers! We had a private party for 60 people booked on 9/17 at 2pm. We booked the restaurant on 9/1 and confirmed multiple times with the manager. The manager boomer was going to arrive at 140 to let us in so we could set up. My family arrived at 140 the day of and there was no one there. We began calling the manager and his phone was turned off. After 25 minutes the cook arrived and was just as confused as we were. He didn't have a key and we now had over 50 people waiting outside with no answers. The cook tried calling the manager, the owner, the bartender... but nothing. It was SO embarrassing and we had no idea what to do. After 55 minutes of waiting and nothing, I called a business right across the street and they were able to accommodate us. The manager didn't call me until 415 to tell me he was on his way to unlock the business. THE AUDACITY to call 2 hours and 35 minutes after he was supposed to SHOW UP. I was and still am mortified from having to tell a group of 60 people the party I planned was at an establishment that is so unprofessional they just didn't show up. Asking all of them to get in their vehicles and go across the street. Thankfully I didn't prepay anything, but they lost out on over $750 and I hope no one ever books a private party with them. read more
