The room was also nicely decorated with balloons for a nice birthday touch, though you may need to move a few to read the lyrics if you're sitting and singing haha Drinks can be ordered at the bar outside if you would prefer them not to be charged to the room (which is convenient if you're splitting the tab and don't want to remember who ordered what)! Bathrooms were extremely clean and the stalls even had some pads there for the girls. I liked that they had the sinks outside, which is nice if you want to clean your hands before eating/drinking/singing. I didn't order any food, so I can't speak on that. The mixed shot drink I tried was very light and quite sweet, which is fine for me since I don't like the taste of alcohol but might not be good for you if you're expecting something stronger. The pricing is typical of a karaoke lounge I think(?) The song selection tablet was interesting haha. The person who checked me in was nice enough to change everything to English before we started and also explained how to look for songs. (It's not very straightforward initially, but you get the hang of it after). They had all the favorites and they do have an option to use YouTube if they don't have the song you want! Parking can get rough. I happened to get lucky and found a spot right when I entered, but some of my friends had a tough time parking. While it's a great spot for singing and private rooms, we wanted to share some important feedback regarding a recurring policy issue in hopes that management can fix it. There are folks in our group that don't consume alcohol, but have documented medical conditions that requires immediate and ongoing hydration around the clock. During each of our visits, security at the front door forced us to leave our personal reusable water bottle at the front bar due to their strict policy against outside beverages. They told us we could just get water inside the venue, but that simply wasn't a reasonable medical accommodation. To try and find a middle ground, we even asked if we could just bring the water bottle in completely empty and fill it up once we got inside. We also offered to let them inspect the containers to ensure there wasn't any alcohol or any other beverages in them as a sign of good faith. We figured this was a fair compromise completely respecting their rules against outside containers. Unfortunately, they denied these requests, too. When guests are meant to be enjoying a private singing room, having to constantly flag down a bartender or wait for room service to refill pitchers for small cups of water isn't a sufficient or safe alternative for a medical necessity. It also isn't a feasible way to spend one's time at the venue either considering the price we paid for the premium experience and service. If we're being charged by the hour, we'd prefer to spend that time actually using the amenities rather than trying to figure out how to navigate the venue's unreasonable policies. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), businesses are required to make reasonable accommodations for medical needs. We really want to keep coming back here in the future, but it's stressful to worry about the lack of accessibility from their establishment. We truly hope management can train their staff on how to handle medical exemptions safely so that their business can be fully enjoyed by everyone.
