Although, they were super backed up which is understandable around dinner time on a Saturday I didn't mind waiting. There was a gentleman by the name of Mike who went above and beyond by saving me the hassle of returning from my truck back into the restaurant repeatedly to see if my food was done by coming out to me to let me know how much longer. The fact he kept me in the loop was amazing customer service. He was very attentive and friendly. This is what customer service should be. He didn't need to ask for my name twice so he made me feel like I was the only customer in the room. Will continue to be ordering from here again. Okay, so I don't even know where to start with the problems at this location. First of all, the employees except for ONE are all either incompetent and/or are just in the wrong line of business and shouldn't be anywhere near customers or doing any kind of customer service related work. You stand around the store long enough and you see people coming back with missing items, wrong orders, or various issues, and you see the lack of professionalism, care, courtesy, and no sense of accountability for mistakes. I ordered online a few months ago and they called me a few minutes after I put in the order saying that they had to cancel my order because they were unable to fulfill it for some odd and unclear reason, like they didn't have boxes to put the food in, or some other weird thing. They told me I would get a refund in 5 business days. I ended up ordering the exact same order at the West Covina location, but it ended up being about $20 cheaper there, huge red flag!!! So a week goes by, no refund. I call and leave a message and the employee says that only the manager can refund me, so I tell them to let the manager call me back. This happened again and again week after week until a month had passed and it got to the point I was trying to show up at the store when the manager was there and he was conveniently never there. I finally had to call up corporate and logged a complaint with them, but that didn't really go anywhere either. I spoke to the one decent employee at the store who told me that the manager, Miguel, does this kind of thing a lot as you can see from other reviews, and that he doesn't return phone calls and avoids refunds and other issues such as this. This employee gave me the right time to call the manager and I finally got a hold of him and I tried to give him one last chance to make this right, but he gave me more lip service and told me he would escalate it to his bosses and call me back, which he never did. I ended up disputing the charge through my credit card company and finally got back my ~$100 back almost 2 months later. Don't come here. They're crooks and they will happily steal your hard-earned money while straight out lying to you. They will mess up your orders and have no remorse. They even overcharge on similar orders compared to other locations. Seriously, avoid this place at all costs!!! read more
