But I ended up standing there nearly 20 minutes waiting for sweet tea to be brewed and sweetened. Meanwhile, the customer's food sat in the bag getting cold. To make matters worse, the ice machine was empty -- thankfully, one attentive employee quickly stepped in to refill it when I asked. But with at least eight staff members present at 5 PM on a Saturday, it was surprising how disorganized things felt. One employee was kind enough to check in with me. Another was on her phone behind the counter. When I asked the person brewing the tea if it was ready, she said yes -- but she still needed to add sugar. I asked how long that would take, and she said she had to clean a flavored tea container first. That's not a priority move when an order is sitting and a customer is waiting. This may seem minor, but it reflects a bigger issue. Delivery drivers aren't just messengers -- we're the final step in your customer's experience. When delays like this happen, we take the hit. Wingstop in Kyle is situated in a very easy to access strip mall by Target in a safe section of town. I will state now all the employees are really good people and pretty quick to make the orders. That said, if you order via the website for some reason, it won't let the customer pay for the order. I'm not sure if it was a "today hiccup" or what but it's an issue. However I quickly paid when I showed up to get my wings. I've been several times and my orders are always hot and tasty. That said I will advise that if you have a family and plan on eating in or just having a kid accompany you, please note the music selection is extremely adult oriented. I went in recently and I'm not sure if it was Jay Z (A rapper for those who don't know) or someone else but the lyrics would make your momma slap you for listening. I used to work at a certain sub restaurant when I was younger and there's no way the owners would have allowed for such music to be played. Wingstop you guys might want to consider what the customers hear as this isn't the club at 1am. Next I happen to notice in the picture I've attached, potatoes all over the floor in the back. This would get a ding from the health inspector and if it were protein might warrant a very harsh penalty. I highly advise keeping the floors of the premise free of food material that most certainly will be utilized. Overall, Wingstop is Wingstop but these two little items I pointed out should be fixed as it can affect repeat customers and I can't see myself ordering fries again from here as it's burned into my mind. The lemon pepper and garlic chicken went quick with my family. Everything was hot and fresh, and the fries are a very unique recipe. A friend and I each ordered wings (separate orders but placed at the same time) and carpooled to pick it up. Friend's food was ready as soon as we got there. The first employee I spoke with told me my order would be ready in 10 min. 10 min go by and I speak to a different employee who says they are still working on it. Okay cool. I won't be giving them another chance even if someone else bought it and offered me something. Props to the the district manager Luis for trying to make things right but I feel they are out of luck. I hope who ever eats and orders from here is happier with the cooks and the person who gives them the order. Went in to order just some voodoo fries, was met with a warning of a 45 minute wait time, but just for fries, it'd only be a 5 minute wait. During my 15 minute wait all I saw in the back were all these kids laughing and playing on their phones. The floor was dirty with wings and fries. At one point at least 5 of the kids went to the walk in laughing and came out laughing and blowing smoke. After I left I was waiting for my wife to get pizza from the little Caesars next door, took my son for a stroll and when we walked down the road behind the stores I saw another 3 employees smoking their weed pens and playing on phones like there wasn't a rush going on inside. The flavor of my Louisiana Rub was really good (it's the hottest flavor of theirs I can handle, as long as I have ranch with it-- yup, I'm a lightweight in that category), but the Hawaiian just wasn't hitting like it should. It was an online order so the order should've been clear as day you'd think. Well when I got the wings and come home, we find that we have 30 lemon pepper wings, and 9 Korean BQQ wings. Stopped in for lunch. Ordered the 10 piece, half Hawaiian, half hickory smoked. Comes with fries and a drink. Like that the lemons and lime are cut and look really fresh and stored on ice at the drink counter. Iced tea tasted fresh as well. Your wings are not cooked until you order so plan on a 15 minute wait. They do bring the food to you. Service is good. Music playing inside is not to my taste as a little too loud but I am an older dude so maybe it's just me. Lol I would also recommend they add napkins at each table. Sauce covered wings are messy and there is a single spool of those brown paper towels where you get you drinks. Fries were real potatoes fried!
