Sunday afternoon with NFL playoffs on. Restaurant is decently busy and at one point there wasn't a single employee on the floor for a solid 10min. Bar included. Manager no where to be found and they just keep seating more people and not helping the staff with orders. Not sure if they're understaffed or just poorly managed but it's terrible. Been waiting an hour since I ordered my food. I've seen my server twice to bring me the wrong beer and then to come back and tell me the bartender is stressed and backed up so it's going to be awhile. Manager won't help her either. DO NOT COME HERE!!! Update, after waiting for over 2 hours with no food we left some cash (way too much) on the table for our drinks and left. They told us the manager was "way in the back" and couldn't talk to us. I told a few groups of people to go somewhere else. A table of 5 behind us went and got their own beers from the bar. Look I get it. Things happen. People call out, but at that point you need to stop sitting tables and tell people there's a wait time so your staff doesn't get overwhelmed. Very poor management. I didn't even mention how terrible the restaurant looked. I'm regretting even paying for my drinks at this point. read more

This is the third time I visited this establishment, and I keep giving any chances. I don't know if we're a nostalgia. Perhaps because they were good at one point. But the service is horrendous. My chicken wings were cold as hell. I asked the server if I could get the Southwest Ranch, and she kept telling me that's what she gave me, and then she saw that it was a completely different sauce and brought me the correct one when I was almost finished. She told us that there was no soda because of the CO2 or something like that. And we kept looking around, and everyone else had soda. We pointed out to her that the bar has soda, and then we finally got some again once our meal was almost over. It wasn't busy. The place was clean. So happy there is a BWW near home! Much larger inside than most BWWs I have been to. It is new apparently. Was seated quickly. And staff was friendly and cheerful. There were quite a few customers inside for 1:20 pm. Mostly in groups of 3 to 5 but plenty of seating. It seems these groups were members of some card playing club as everyone was playing cards as they ate. My all American Cheeseburger with no bun was as flavorful as always ( my favorite food here). I also ordered 6 wings with no sauce with my points and they were also very good. I'm glad I found this new BWW and will eat here again! read more

So I have been a BW3s patron since the 80s, and have been in well over 50 of them across a couple dozen states. My reviews of the local ones here in Texas have been less than flattering, but I have finally found one worth visiting. Right off the bat you know things are different, as this is a reuse of a previous restaurant/bars footprint. It is big an open, with lots of space. I sampled the new Beer Cheese Cheese Steak and if was excellent. Some Jack Cheese covered wedges and I was full, while enjoying college baseball on some of their countless TVs. Best of all was the service. Jeremiah was fantastic. Engaging, friendly and attentive, what more could you ask for. Well, I could ask for more time, unfortunately he won't be with us for long, but we enjoyed getting to know him and wish him nothing but success as his career begins up in Dallas. read more

Our server was amazing and sweet so I didn't say anything to her, she seemed nervous enough and I know it wasn't her fault. Kitchen should be embarrassed to serve these as "wings", more like popcorn chicken. Tater tot for size reference. I usually get traditional wings but these were on special...horrible choice. Don't eat here. The wraps are not not even wrapped right and the wings are terrible. You can make better wings in your airfryer at home. Not only is the food overpriced, but they treat their employees TERRIBLY. The general manager needs to be fired. There is extreme bias crawling around this place and they get paid only enough to get food on their discount during a 6-8 hour shift. They are threatened to be fired around every corner and many of these young college kids want or NEED to work. The manager takes all the hours to herself and is full of greed. Please don't support this business! if you're craving wings head to the pluckers a few minutes over, or the wingstop! I've never seen a place treat their workers like this. I urge you to reconsider and spend your heard earned money to places that treat their employees like human beings! Shame on this large manager. read more

This location is NOT good. I've been here twice and was so disappointed. Which is unfortunate because I love the restaurant. My first time coming here my wings were cold. I just came back this afternoon and was incredibly disappointed. The restaurant was fairly slow. After being seated for 15 minutes I still hadn't received my lemonade (even though my husband got his soda a few minutes prior). Our server was all over the place and never took our order. After sitting forever we just asked for the check and left to a different restaurant. We did ask to speak to a manager but none ever came out. I've been a regular at Buffalo Wild Wings, but after seeing how things run behind the scenes, I won't be coming back. The general manager here is one of the worst I've ever seen in the service industry--not just rude to customers, but even worse to employees. It's clear there's a serious lack of respect and leadership, which is why so many staff members seem unhappy and have been quitting. When a restaurant has high turnover and low morale, it's usually a management problem, and that's exactly what's happening here. If corporate or upper management actually cared, they'd take a hard look at who's running this place because it's affecting both the work environment and the customer experience. Until there's a change, I'd recommend going somewhere else where employees are treated with basic respect--it makes all the difference in service. read more

Ambiance was okay. Honestly not too great, it's fine. By all means it's fine but like it's a sports bar so how about some bigger TVs. Food was good! This was the worst experience I have ever had at Buffalo Wild Wings. We were sat down and then waited 30 minutes for a server that we had to hunt down to come over to our table. While we were waiting for our server we went up to the bar to get water and then found black markings on the bottom. We brought it to the attention of who looked like she was the manager she said ohhh it's ink from pins because we use the cups to hold pins. The server then apologized that there was a server mixup and she didn't know she was covering this section. That should never have happened the fact no server stood up to see if we had been helped is very disappointing. We decided to place our drink order, appetizers, and food order at once because we heard other people complaining that they hadn't received their food or they can't find their server to pay and leave. We waited another 30 minutes for just our drinks to be brought out. We never received our appetizers and I'm not going to ask them to still bring it because we waited an hour and a half for our food in the first place I did not want to wait another 30 minutes for my pretzels. When the food arrived my wings were incorrect, someone I came with ordered the sampler platter and the fried pickles tasted gross more like zucchini then a pickle, the cheese sticks were not cooked. We haven't seen our server since placing our order and who knows how long it will take to get our check. The San Marcos, Texas location is extremely understaffed and not staffed with good people they walk around not knowing what to do. The food being crappy on top of the service is extremely disappointing and will not be returning to this location. read more
