They are always hot and enjoyable, however, it never fails, when I go in to get my order I have to check and see if there is enough lemon pepper on my wings and it never is! When i asked the Cashier if my order was ready, she did not even look in the kitchen or anything and just told me that it's another 10 mins when it's been more than 63 mins(calculated time for my order). I called to complain about my order this evening because my order was totally under cooked even after I called ahead to request well done. They told me I could come in for a replacement and then 20 minutes later called me back to tell me that I had to bring the food in after I already threw it away basically saying go dig in the trash for my order. I called back to complain about this they said no they will not replace and hung up on me I had to call 15 times and finally informed them I would not play games anymore and contacted the corporate office!!!! Okay I've eaten at this establishment quite a few times and every time say I'm not going to eat there again because EVERY time is a bad experience. This time was no exception and solidified that I will not be ordering here again. So I came at my appointed time and walked in to pay for my order. The cashier was helpful and timely and got me checked out in an orderly fashion, she then showed me my order as they are prone to do and everything looked good so I took my bag and got into my car. I was going somewhere else so I wanted to have a little taste of the fries and when I went to pick one up it was refrigerator cold! I also poked my wings and they were below luke warm... which leads me to believe they made my order hours in advance and put it in the refrigerator until I came to pick it up. I had placed my order at 12 and my pick up was 545 so they had it hours in advance. We're in an age where if your to-go game is not on point your not gonna make it... Don't come here if you want hot fresh food. Tonight was my 1st visit to this location. I read a few of the reviews and was a bit hesitant but I was hungry and really wanted wings. They were extremely busy and my to go order was going to take 25 minutes. Okay, I placed my order for 8 wings - 4 Spicy Korean and 4 Garlic Parmesan, fries, a roll and a brownie. I wait in my truck a bit and then go back in to continue to wait. Finally, my order is ready, she opens the container. Okay, great, I head home and can't wait to eat. I arrive home, open the container and I only have 7 wings. I didn't realize that I needed to count my wings. Not only that, I got a flat. Now, the one flat is not that big of a deal, I still got my wing. But not giving me a wing is not acceptable. I paid for 8 wings and I want my full order. I used to order from here and actually liked their food, I get my food from DoorDash and get it in person sometimes and they'd usually follow the instructions and make the chicken crispy and not put so much OIL on the chicken but lately the food has been really bad the chicken, and fries are soggy, if feels as if I'm eating oil instead of actual chicken tenders and fries and when I order garlic parm chicken I get oil sog chicken. The last time I ordered from this location, I was told 20-30 min. It took about a hour, and when my food was ready the cooks set it on the shelf and no one cared to call out the order. *** This location hides/removes unfavorable reviews after a period of time don't fall for it! *** *** This is an edit to push my review back onto their page from our visit 2 weeks back *** This was our first ever time at a Wingstop and will ultimately be our last. I became sick and nauseated within 2 hours of eating the food at this location (5502 N Fry Rd f, Katy, TX 77449). Overall bad exp. with the soggy food and uncaring staff that are not even in the same world (they just don't care). We will be calling to complain and going back to talk to management at our earliest convenience. Staff would casually talk with themselves and not even acknowledge the customer when our order was ready. Food review is further down in the review. I added some pictures of our soggy food after we tried to wipe said food down with paper towels due to the extreme amount of sauce and salt/oil when we boxed it. We did this so we can take it back to the location when management is available and we have time to talk with them. We didn't want to create a scene so we kept to ourselves and instead will talk to management over the phone and in person. Drummete meat was tough due to a lot of gristle and was overcooked making it tough to eat. Wingette meat was overly fatty and lacking taste. I asked for wings in my 6 piece meal and instead they gave me 4 drummetes and 2 wings. Hickory BBQ sauce (for 3 of 6 wings) had no smoky taste to it at all and instead tasted like sweet BBQ sauce almost honey like in texture. Lemon pepper seasoning (for the other 3 wings) tasted good but was caked on in an excessive way which turned out to be a theme for most of our food. Fries were barely warm and were also soggy due to excess oil. Fries also had an enormous amount of salt on them (tried to wipe off) w/ the oil holding the ridiculous amount of salt in place this was difficult. The person I was with got the 3 piece chicken tenders w/ teriyaki and honey mustard sauce. The chicken tenders were literally drenched in teriyaki and had to be wiped off with paper towels and she instead used the honey mustard sauce which was good. The teriyaki sauce was watery and salty in texture which is quite disturbing as most teriyaki is sweet and savory. I tried some of the sauce myself and couldn't bear to eat it as she stopped eating her chicken tenders due to feeling sick and instead tried the fries. Soda machine was hit or miss with either an absurd amount of soda syrup coming out or hardly any at all. Only one soda machine on location and the UI was slow and laggy making people have to wait in a line with very little room in order to get to the seating area. This caused people to accidentally bump into each other and created a scenario of people playing musical chairs with where they stand trying to get a drink. No trash cans to dispose of paper towels so I went to the restroom to throw one away not wanting to leave our table a mess for the staff to have to clean. Found the men's restroom to be quite dirty and paper towels in the toilet probably because they couldn't find a trash can in the seating area or where you order. read more
