I just ordered last week. It was AWFUL!!! I filled out the survey that came in the mail after my order and absolutely blasted them. The employees were all disheveled and dirty looking. I asked, in the web order, for the wings to be picked up at 6 pm. They were already waiting when I got there before 6. They were cold by the time I got them home, so no telling how long they were sitting there The employee just handed me the bag, didn't say thank you, didn't look at me, just turned around and kept talking to his buddy. The wings, outside of being cold..well, truthfully, they were "warm", not cold, were terrible. 5 wings I asked for with sweet chili sauce were bathed in the sauce. The wings I asked for with milder buffalo sauce had no sauce, and the only fairly decent ones were the Parmesan garlic which would have been good if they were hot. On the survey I asked for a call from the manager. No call ever came, but it looked like they *may* have credited the order back to my account. I thought I saw a credit come through but I haven't checked to be certain. Someone said they went to the Richmond place. I was at Wingstop in Richmond, years ago, and they were fantastic. The entire chain must have gone downhill. The fact that no one got in touch with me, either the store manager or corporate shows the lack of commitment to the customer. This is exactly the experience I had when Zaxby's first opened in Richmond. I spoke to Customer Service, I contacted the franchise owner and no one cared. I was promised calls back, multiple times from Corporate management and no one ever called or cared. I have never been back to a Zaxby's and never will. I did an app order for a family but they were done in a decent amount of time for 30 wings. The cashier was quick and very busy but got the job done. I've eaten food from here a handful of times and haven't had issues. The ambiance seems chill but I've never eaten inside. After half an hour later, the food still wasn't ready, so I had to unassign the order and move on. I lost out on any orders that could've come in in that half an hour, and the staff were unprofessional. One of the workers was on her phone while she was filling drinks and another had her bare hand touching the ice that was going into the ice machine when she was refilling it. Their bone-in wings are nothing spectacular (I'm not a huge fan of bone-in wings in general) but their boneless and strips are where it's at. They also have the best fries. Not too sure why people are complaining about their prices since you can get 25 boneless w/ fries and 3 dips for about $20 plus tax. This message is for managers Pam and Alvin, regarding the rude and in-denial employee, REESE, at the WINGSTOP ON 5635 PLANK ROAD IN FREDERICKSBURG, VA. I ordered from Wingstop - a simple order: 1) 10 piece traditional wings (half lemon pepper, half mild) with buffalo ranch fries, and sweet tea; 2) 15 piece traditional wings (lemon pepper and cajun). SIMPLE. Delivered through Door Dash. Also, let's be clear, I order from Wingstop A LOT. Never had ANY PROBLEMS. Upon receiving the order, I received the sweet tea, the fries, and 1 box of wings (8 of them mild, I believe, wrapped in Wingstop paper and 2 wings WHO KNOWS WHAT FLAVOR wrapped in a SEPARATE piece of Wingstop paper, also indicating a different flavor). What's missing from this story? THE 15 PIECE IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. After calling Wingstop, I came in contact with REESE. I explained the issue, he asked to confirm my order, cool. Reese then responds, well I packed that myself and the lemon pepper and mild are there. I then hear REESE's voice check in with another employee asking if they packed the 15 piece in the same bag and then informed me that they were in the same bag. However, unless Wingstop is now selling invisible orders, there was no other order. I explained to REESE not only were we missing an entire order, but that the order we did have was incorrect. REESE responded "I packed that one myself and I put lemon pepper and mild in there." I then inquired further and asked REESE, "why are there two wings wrapped in their own paper?" To which REESE responds, "There's only 1 paper in there, I packed it myself." So clearly Reese is either willfully not admitting he was wrong as to avoid embarrassment? OR he was thinking of a different order that was similar?--both scenarios very plausible. REESE did inform me that I could come pick up the missing order (hmm...even though the one we have is also incorrect). I informed REESE that I was not leaving the house for two reasons: 1) the COVID-19 pandemic and I have been limiting interactions and 2) the fact that I paid for delivery so why exactly would I come pick it up myself. Which brings me back to Pam and Alvin, I look forward to speaking with you since REESE informed me I would have to reach out to the manager(s) tomorrow morning in order to receive a refund. Here's what bothers me primarily: the service and compassion, or really lack thereof. It's not that the food was wrong (though that does bother me and it's not what I paid for); however, it's the fact that the entirety of that conversation, there was no apology, there was no "Oh I'm sorry about that," etc. There was only "Well, I packed it myself," "I packed it right," "There's only one piece of paper in there, not two." I guess I should be fair, I have yet to go to a wing stop that I like. I suppose I'm expecting good sports bar quality wings and I'm always let down. These were in par with any other wingstop. Boneless wings had that issue where the breading just hovers around the chicken, not properly breaded, and the chicken itself is blocky. Fries were stale and no crispy at all and seemed to have no taste. Just a bad texture with no flavor. It's a wingstop just like any other. Not worse but definitely not better. read more

For what it is, we honestly could not ask for more from this place. They told us up front that it would be a 20 minute wait and that estimate was just about spot on. The wings were perfect when they came out, hot and fresh. Others complained about these wings being small but honestly we didn't find them to be so--they had plenty of meat on them. The old bay and Cajun flavors were my favorites. We also got the original and bbq, which were also very good. We got the 30 piece family deal with fries and veggies, three dips and it turned out to be a great deal. Our family of four left very satisfied and happy! Was really excited to finally try one now that it's in the area. I LOVE wings!!! Just ate here today and I have to say it was my first and probably last time I'll eat here. The food is expensive and by expensive I mean more than BWWs prices for wings. My dad and I got the 6 wings combo and opted to do the Korean BBQ and the Hawaiian. The sauces were pretty good and that's about where it ends for any positive comments. I paid for two of the combos but it was rung up really weird at the register so that i was told one price and then charged another. By the time the food came out only my dad's came out and we had to show them the receipt in order for me to get my wings and fries. Only I didn't get my fries just the wings, but that's okay, because the fries are AWFUL. They were so soggy, greasy and oily that we couldn't even finish one small basket of them. The wings are incredibly small (bone in) and can be finished in two bites. Save your money and go to BWW and get a lunch combo. I'm not coming back here ever.
