We continue to visit this location since my original review and it's definitely worthy of a five star review now that we go more often. Staff is always super nice!! Service is quick... wings still come out super fast even when you order large amounts for a table of 6! We've never really had to wait for a table and ordering take out is a breeze!! Their chicken never fails for me! I ordered the garlic soy wings during lunch and a side of fries. The 6 wingettes were delicious and the fries were crisp and flavorful. Now the drawback...I know prices have gone up but to pay $14 for 6 wing portions...not whole wings, but literally the equivalent of 2 1/2 whole wings and a half of a potato! One of the best quality bonchons I have been to. Service is always fast and friendly, the chicken is always crispy and flavorful, and the facility is clean. I've tried almost the whole menu, and my favorites are the garlic soy drumsticks, house fried rice, and bulgogi. The bibimbap, chicken katsu, and seasoned fries also never disappoint. But the real star of the show - the pork buns - are an absolute MUST at this particular Bonchon! Every time they're so juicy, flavorful, have a large piece of pork belly inside, and taste like heaven. Some of the reviews complaining that Bonchon is not the most authentic Korean cuisine - well of course not, it's a chain restaurant, however the food is still of good quality and taste. This was my second time and I stopped in for wings and settled for a small order of 6 wings and bibimbap. The wings are good and yet overpriced in comparison to a BWW or any sports bar or wing spot. These wings are superior but not with the price. The bibimbap was good. Comes out sizzling! Only negatives for me is I can't sub anything and they only serve it w white rice. If you never had this w purple or Black rice I apologize. But if you have you know why I'm disappointed. Service was good, friendly and the atmosphere is quiet and calming. So I actually think the food at Bonchon is pretty good. My friend and I had the bibimbap and it was what I wanted out of Korean food chain in America. HOWEVER, I am very displeased with the fact that they are no longer a sit down restaurant and now do it "fast food style". I was hoping for a sit down restaurant experience like I get at some other Bonchon locations I have been to. On top of that, you don't even get real plates and silverware. It's all plastic and served to you on a tray like at the food court. The plastic is very wasteful, and quite frankly upsetting to see. Lastly, the place is pretty dimly lit and doesn't even look like an open restaurant from the inside. Also, the building sign says "Korean Wings" and not "Bonchon" so that was a little confusing, but also, nitpicky. read more

I've been a long time Bon Chon fan and have been going to this location for years. I went today and found out they have changed to a fast casual style of service where you order at the front and then sit down. They bring you the food in to go containers. They have done away with the fountain drinks. Cans and bottles available for purchase. The food was good as usual but I'm disappointed that this small restaurant is moving away from normal service. Used to be fun to meet others for lunch and socialize. Hope they go back to the other service style. read more

The Korean Bbq wings were really good. I also got the plain wings which were disappointing. I received plain wings as in no seasoning at all. I have never in my life had bland chicken like that and did not think "Plain" meant anything other than not having sauce. It also means no seasoning. Also in my order were the Fried Chicken Bai Buns which the chicken was hard and inedible. Don't think I would return as half of my order was disappointing, but for the Korean Bbq wings I'll leave it at 3 stars. read more

I've had Bonchon before but this was my first time at this location. The place was pretty empty but had more parties by the time I left. Service was prompt and amicable. I had the clay pot bibimbap. That one deserves three stars, but the fired chicken was delicious, as always, so my overall review is four stars. There's plenty of parking available since this is in a shopping plaza. The best part is they allow you to break up an order into three or three flavors (soy garlic, spicy or just plain--for those that are allergic to soy or can't handle spicy food), at no additional cost. Highly recommend stop by and grabbing an order of their drumsticks (half/half). I promise you won't be disappointed. Bonchon was okay. I was a little disappointed about the prices. Our meal was $50, & we got 2 entrees and an appetizer. I ordered the bibimbap with soy garlic chicken. The bibimbap was so hot, I couldn't even taste the flavor on the chicken, or the vegetables for that matter. I wanted to really enjoy the rice bowl, but I was spooning over food from the bibimbap to a separate plate so it could cool down. We got a small order of wings (12 pieces). We got 1/2 soy garlic, 1/2 spicy. The spicy was extremely spicy, & good for some, but not all. The flavor was really good. Our appetizer was the pork buns. They had great flavor. Figured I'd give this place a try and see what the big deal was. Their chicken is delicious. I kind of like it better than chicfila. My mom got the chicken strips - half spicy and half soy ginger. I didn't think the spicy was too spicy but my mom almost had a cow so I'm not sure. Both were delicious though. The soy ginger had a better taste, in my opinion. I ordered the tofu bibimbap and it was so freakin good. I love love love the fried egg on top and the chili paste. Yum. Next time I want to try the japchae. Yummmmm. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday... they were moderately busy, but were greeted and seated immediately. A waiter came and took our drink order and since this was our first time at a Bonchon, we had questions about the menu, but getting answers from the waiter was like pulling teeth, he gave simple, non-explanatory responses that led to us asking more questions. After placing our order, the waiter asked if we wanted radish or cole slaw.... When I asked what that meant, was it an optional side dish, etc, he wasn't descriptive and it was only when I said no thanks that he said it comes with the food we ordered. He should have asked what side we want and answered by initial question properly in the first place! Aside from that, the food came out rather quickly, but the service issues continued. The food was flavored nicely, but the chicken was tough and dry. The cole slaw tasted nice and the shrimp nuggets we got were pretty good. The restaurant is somewhat blah in description... it's all black and almost like a library inside, as there's nothing to make it pop. The staff wasn't terribly happy to be there... they all just sat at the bar, leaning over the bar the entire time and we had to ask for refills, as they were not coming to check on us. Overall, I can say I've finally tried Bonchon... I would hope the management or corporate office sees this so they can use the comments that me and others with similar experiences to improve. read more

A little sweet but the side of pickled radish cut that. The radish was the real deal! Also got the bulgogi bibimbop with a fried egg... appreciate the Gojujong being placed on the side since traditionally, it's right there on top. DELICIOUS. The marinated veggies were tasty.
