Decided to give this establishment a try for lunch because my partner and I were at a nearby store off of Main Avenue in Clifton. Wingstop is a fast-food chain known for its wings. Upon entering, there were a few patrons enjoying their meal. The dining room was clean and filled with what looked like 1930s and 1940s memorabilia, illustrations and pictures of airplanes/aviators hung on the walls. We ordered 3 pc chicken tenders mild sauce combo and 6 pc chicken wings with garlic parmesan and hickory smoked bbq combo. The combo included large fries and a drink. The boneless chicken wings were just okay nothing to write home about. However, the classic chicken wings were juicier and flavorful. The fries were fresh-cut as some were crispy and tasted fine. The price was a bit steep at a whopping $26 considering the portion sizes have gotten smaller. If you are in the area, give this place a try. read more

Every time I order here, something goes wrong. I'm done ordering from this place. I ordered the combo wings that comes with fries and a drink and veggies, according the website when you order online. The delivery was fast, but I open the bag and what do I see? No fries. I call and the manager claims that when you ask for veggies, this excludes the fries. Meanwhile I explained that the website says veggies are included and it is marked for you as you're ordering. She claims there's nothing she can do about it, and she is going to tell her boss to fix the issue for online ordering. I ordered the Korean BBQ and regular BBQ boneless wings with a large order of fries on January 24, 2021 at 11:15pm through UberEats. When the food arrived, it was barely even half-coated with the sauce, the chicken was rubbery, and the fries were in the bag upside-down WITHOUT A LID and scattered everywhere in the bag. The manager (Nieves) responded to the complaint with aggression, a pretentious attitude, and argued that this poor preparation and presentation and unsecure packaging was considered acceptable because it was "the end of the night". If this place is going to violate health codes (especially during the COVID pandemic), I think it should be shut down or this specific manager should immediately be terminated. I have been a faithful customer to this Wingstop location for the past year and the other manager has always been able to make things right for my girlfriend and I. Unless they refund me or offer to send a complimentary order of Korean BBQ boneless wings and a new order of fries, I probably won't be ordering from them again. If you ever have a complaint or your food is damaged, try not to deal with Nieves. She clearly doesn't give a crap about her customers or the quality of the food. Stopped in for lunch on a snowy Saturday. This location is located in the Corrado's plaza off Main in Clifton. It's also right next to a liquor store in case you're picking up a to-go order. The menu is fairly simple offering both a la cart and combo options. Combos come with fries or veggie sticks and a 20oz drink. I tend to keep things simple the first go around so I ordered an 8-piece with half classic in the original hot sauce and the other half boneless in the garlic Parmesan sauce. It came to $11 and change. The wings are made to order (as they should be) and it probably took 20-25 minutes from the time I placed my order until I received my food. As for the wings themselves, they were okay. The original hot were good, not to saucy which I like. I had high hopes for the garlic Parmesan and honestly, they were NOT good. I'd expect a 13 year old to make them this way. They were literally chicken nuggets covered in garlic oil and Parmesan cheese! (See photo) The hand cut fries weren't bad but they had a hint of sweetness to them so I suspect whatever seasoning they use has sugar in it. Personally, I don't want sugared fries. A few other things: * The location isn't huge, seating only 40 people max, but it's roomy enough to come with a 4-6 person group. * There are also 2 TVs on the wall. * It's nonalcoholic - soda, water, and iced tea only. I called to place an order for a 15 wing combo with three flavors. The lady taking the order said she can't do that. Decided to try out this spot with my girlfriend only to get the worst service ever. We place our order and already the girl at the register charged us for something we didn't want. We ask for a partial refund on the items we didn't want and this is where it started. The manager running the place had no idea how to do a refund. We waited over 20 minutes for something that should take no longer than 2 minutes. After that issue is resolved the manager just tosses my wings on the counter as if it was an inconvenience to him. After about 10 minutes of waiting we figured out that they actually forgot to make my girlfriends entire order. The guy in charge looked around at the kitchen to blame instead of simply taking responsibility as a "manager" waited another 5-10 minutes only for him to ask what she ordered. Pros: Close to home. Cons: Walked-in to order Take-Out; 6 wings w/fries and a drink. No other patrons were waiting on line to order. Two families were eating at their tables. I was told my order would take 15 minutes. After 25 minutes, I asked about my order. I was told that they forgot about my order and to wait another 15 minutes. While waiting, both families finished their food and proceeded to pile their dirty trays and trash on top of the serving counter, same counter where orders are taken by customers entering the store. This trash pile remained on the counter for some time. There was no evidence of trash receptacles or tray return areas seen within the restaurant. Once home, I found my wings swimming in BBQ sauce. The (soggy) french fries had tumbled out of the (small) fragile, paper-covered tray, and were found at the bottom of the larger brown paper bag. BTW.....no napkins were provided with my meal. The cashier advised me that she had "added" two rolls to my order, no charge, to compensate for the delay. Summary: Not being desperate for wings, I would first dine at Wendy's, Burger King, McDonald's, or similar fast-food place before I ever returned to Wingstop, which will not happen. I placed a call to Customer Service and requested that the regional manager visit this place and arrange for changes to be made right away for the benefit of other customers. The wings were fairly dry, and as for the Smoke 9 flavor, they should rename it 'Plain'. No heat, no smoke. Tasted like a fried chicken wing. And the 'Atomic'? The one with a five-flame rating? Frank's Hot Sauce and butter has more kick. Again, the chicken was dry. Lack of sauce...lack of seasoning... it just wasn't good. Sharkys Wings and Raw Bar is not far from this spot, and they have some of the best wings in the state. Even WingZone in Saddle Brook is far superior.
