Back when I used to work in Melrose Park, I'd frequent a Wingstop on North Ave. There, the quality of food was hit-and-miss, but that's not the case here on Archer Ave. The guys at this location mean business, cranking our orders way faster than the "16-21 minute" time frame assigned to the online order confirmation. My lunch has been made in 5 minutes flat. The chicken tender lunch combo ($6.50) is a solid deal: 3 juicy tenders in choice of sauce, regular size fry, and 20oz drink. Tenders were made fresh and fully coated in one of their limited-time sauces, sweet BBQ blaze. They have 70¢ boneless wings on Monday and Tuesday. Wingstop's cheese fries are amazing; they really slather on the cheese sauce which, for only 50¢ more, turns out to be a great value. You'll most likely want a tub of ranch or blue cheese ($1.50) to dip your chicken in. Cajun fried corn (5pc for $4.50) is another option. I've always believed that Wingstop's mango habanero is more tolerable than Buffalo Wild Wings' flavor of the same name. Whereas B-dubs really leans into the 'habanero' side of things, at Wingstop they're much more aligned with 'mango', so the result is more enjoyably sweet than unbearable heat, which I like. They have 12 sauces to pick from, including the OG lemon pepper, garlic parm, Hawaiian, Louisiana rub, spicy Korean BBQ, hot honey rub, classic buffalo, Cajun, and "atomic". I'd steer clear of that last one, unless you're accustomed to insanely spicy things and/or spending time feverishly moaning on the can. * TL;DR * I've come to realize that my past prejudice towards Wingstop is mostly unfounded--I've sung B-dubs' praises for so long I considered Wingstop to be the naturally inferior sibling. Well, this Wingstop in Chicago's Garfield Ridge neighborhood has me rethinking which team has the true MVT (most valuable tender). Their fries are way better than their closest competitor, with way better deals, too. By comparison, a "value bundle" of 6 boneless wings + fries at Buffalo Wild Wings is $9, and that doesn't include a drink. Defo coming back here for lunch and carryout orders. read more

This location is newer and wanted to give them a try after experiencing terrible customer service at the Pulaski location. I ordered 20 wings, 10 with Louisiana Rub and the rest with BBQ. I also ordered some cheese fries and veggie boat. My total came to $22. The flavor of the Louisiana Rub wasn't bad but it was literally like all bone on them suckers! The BBQ ones were drowning in sauce but its at least a good flavor. Fries are tasty but that cheese sauce had a total grody factor. AVOID. We were given the wrong order. My husband called to notify them and instead of receiving any type of apology or credit or anything he was asked to bring the food back. He brought the food back and since because my children had already ate some (they were starving) the staff was reluctant to give him his entire order. This raises a major concern for me. Do they give food that was brought into someone else's home and then returned to the store away for future orders? Are they recycling food? Newly built a few months ago, I was pretty excited to have a wing place open up so close to me. I was excited that I would have a location to drink and watch sports at, but it was too good to be true. This place is tiny! It's probably best to just order out and watch sports on your own TV. Their BBQ sauce is great, but their Hot sauce...not so much. The fries are good also and have a sweet twang. My wings were delicious, I got my order delivered and i received my wings hot with a prompt and accurate delivery time. I like that the Wingstop app Let's you know when your order is picked up by doordash who makes the delivery and is on its way, everything was almost perfect with my order except for my drink order which was quickly fixed by management. I don't understand all the bad reviews for this place. My family and I love wingstop. I can't speak first hand on the regular wings. I always order the boneless, and they're delicious. Never had a problem. I have noticed sometimes, depending on the time of day you go, the wings can be on the smaller side, but they are usually great about throwing in a few extra when that happens. Also, if you don't like the wait time when you go in to order, then call ahead. I love that I can call my order in, and have it all ready for me by the time I get there. I'm giving this place 4 stars because we ordered and paid for the dinner for 2 (15 wings) in 3 flavors, and instead was given 7 of each flavor. Getting 6 extra wings was nice - even if it was a mistake. Their roll, dipped in butter, was so good. When I order the roll from the Wing Stop by my house, they definitely don't do the butter dip. So this Wing Stop is great when you wanna clog your stomach up with some nasty good old chicken wings! The staff is nice enough, the portions are good enough, and the price is far less expensive than BWW. Their fries are so tasty, they're one of my favorites. The Honey BBQ and the Parmesan Garlic are both very good. This place is consistently churning out a better product than BWW at this point. You get far less bad wings from Wing Stop. And it is head and shoulders above the crap that Wing-Street serves.
