I have to say - I was impressed. We came here last night with the Berwyn Running Group. The food was incredible and the beers were cold. It was absolutely crowded for a Thursday. We were so surprised on a weeknight that it was so crowded and we probably brought an additional 25 to 30 people from the Berwyn Running Group. As much as I tried loving this place this is my 4th time here. It's going to need some love and attention. The only good thing from the food menu is the wings and the breaded shrimp. Everything we ordered was cold on the way out. The music is super loud, the waitresses are just there. The host doesn't even seem to care with her headphones on and sitting down.. in my opinion that is not the correct way to represent an establishment! I have been to the Chicago location many times and sometimes, let's be honest, the wait was too long. I was so excited when I found out Output was going to open a location in my town of Berwyn! I went to their soft opening with my kids plus their gf/bf and and they were very accommodating in finding a table for all 5 of us. We ordered 30 wings, bone in and boneless (my fav), the breaded pickles, mini sliders (delicious!), fries, and a few drinks. Everything was delicious. The boneless wings were huge and delicious with the original hot sauce. Drinks were good. They have a lot of TVs on the walls to watch sports or whatever, and of course the people watching was fun. This was a carry-out order and we went in blind, just to try it out. As we walked in we noticed the charming set-up, wished we had time to sit down and relax while eating. Ordering was easy and the recommendations were spot on. Hey, did I mention that they have outdoor seating... Yes, they do. Again, wished we could've sat there to enjoy our meals. Normally I would have photos for you but we were hungry that day. The food was delicious! We had a cheeseburger, some chicken wings and some fries. I felt my juicy burger was cooked and prepared perfectly. I tasted their wings and yes it was well cooked and seasoned. By the way, they have several selection for your fries, sides. Third time here and eh, nothing to rave about. We come for the traditional wings as everybody does. The other location is also ok. Unfortunately, most of our food is warm/not hot. I see others have complained about this. Our fried pickles were drenched in oil, we did not eat them. We also previously tried their burgers and they're very filling, but not cooked as asked. Ranch/blue cheese shouldn't be charged extra but they do for 0.75 each.. tables are super small, music is very loud, service is subpar, prices are average. We spent $350+ on one tab with drinks. We will probably be back but they can definitely use lots of improvement all over. read more

Service was amazing! The staff is great! HOWEVER some of the wings were frozen cold! the potato wedges tasted old. When I mentioned it to my friends they also had the same thing happen with their wings when they ate at this location. My nephew wanted to celebrate his birthday with chicken wings and selected Output based on it's proximity to our house. We were a party of eight, and to be honest, based on other reviews, weren't sure what our experience would be like. I'm happy to say we were pleasantly surprised. Service was prompt and courteous, and everyone commented on how good their wings were. My only complaint is that the restaurant is noisy, and the background music doesn't help. The wings are just like the West Town location. I say this because the more locations, the taste doesn't remain the same. We had traditional and boneless wings. Traditional hot and garlic parmesan. The tater tots were not even steaming; they look dry and heated under a heat lamp. The wings arrived way too fast to be authentic. I order the Hot Habanero Lemon pepper and I still had to add extra hot sauce . The volume on speakers way too high for waitresses to hear my order. Again no steam from "hot wings". Came here for the Super Bowl. Was told mystery shots were included with our wrist bands and were charged $200+ for them. We addressed this and our server basically said we should have asked her since she's our server. Like you were too busy to come take our orders so we asked another server who said it was included but because she was not our server you're not removing this extra charge? The location was very bland but clean. Food/experience did not compare to other OUTPUT locations. The wings themselves were super small compared to other locations, (20 dollars for a 10 piece) Our appetizer arrived with the food and on top of that the cheese sticks weren't fully cooked (cheese was hard and cold on inside.) Also had to ask for blue cheese 3x I don't even fully blame server she looked like she needed help. But overall very bad experience. If you are going to charge 20 dollars for a 10 piece at least have big wings like the other locations. read more

Let's start off with the food. I love the space and the set up. The wings are excellent, other menu items are okay. However, the service is terrible. Servers are slow, look unhappy, are on their phones and barely check on your table. We waited forever for water, never got silverware (had to ask for it twice), the list goes on. I'm in the industry, so I understand all aspects that go into good service. The kicker was when we scanned the QR code, it took us to the Output Berwyn website. The weekly drink specials was a pop up, so I clicked on the day of the week to see what they had to offer. Our table picked drinks based on the specials. When we ordered them the server told us they weren't honoring those specials (I was confused). She said she would ask the manager but didn't think they would honor. She returned minutes later telling us the manager said those specials were only being honored at their other 2 locations. So you mean to tell me the BERWYN website has the specials listed but they're only honored at the Chicagoland locations and not Berwyn?! My question is, was it really that big of a deal for the manager to say you know what since that was our mistake we'll go ahead and honor it. I hope this location survives, but based on my last 2 visits, I'm not sure. read more

Very disappointed. Have been looking forward to the opening of this restaurant. Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to eat here. We visited this past Saturday around 2:00-2:30pm. We were a party of 3. There was nobody before of us. There were several empty tables- I can count 4 off my head that were visible to my eye. The hostess said it would be a 30 min wait because "the Kitchen was behind 30 minutes". I asked if we can at least sit down and have our drinks while we wait. Another young lady that worked there came and listened in and said "No, because my manager said not to sit anyone else because the kitchen is behind 30 minutes". I looked at my husband and he questioned them again- asking if we can sit and just have our drinks to which the 2nd young lady replied, " No, because if we sit you down, then someone will come and take your order". My husband and I looked at each other and walked away. It just didn't make sense. Either way we were going to wait the 30 minutes- wouldn't you want your customers to at least have some drinks, especially if there are empty tables. And if they did "come and take our order", we were still going to wait. It just didn't make any sense! Unfortunately, this did not sit well with us, and we will not be returning. read more
