Had an absolute blast at FatDuck Tavern with friends! We had heard good things about their food and…read moredrinks and it did not disappoint. Their menu is HUGE both of the food and drinks side. Be sure to check out their daily specials or stop in for Happy Hour (Mon-Thurs 4-6pm) for extra discounts. For drinks, we started with the Hugo Spritz, Jalapeño Ginger Lime Spritz, and Prickly Pear Spritz. The Hugo Spritz was my favorite of the night and was super east to drink on a hot day. For food, we shared their famous DuckFat Fries which comes with three dipping sauces. I loved the Garlic Aioli and Chipotle Ketchup but wasn't the biggest of the Mexican Pesto. For entrees, we got a mixture of items. I got the Cheeseburger Sliders but asked for Onion Crisps instead of Caramelized. This was the perfect portion. For me after already sharing fries. My friends got a Pulled Pork Sandwich, Fish Tacos, and Fire Alarm Burger. Everything tasted great but my friend didn't think her burger was too spicy. Overall, I loved the casual atmosphere of FatDuck. Their menu has so many options that there always would be something new to try. Pricing was a little high but portions were very large to offset costs. Highly recommend!

Just painfully disappointing…read more Poor ambiance due to top 40 from 2012 playing. Service was fine. Food & menu just lacking anything exciting. Baby greens salad w hunks of Brie over top & an embarrassingly overcooked remnant of a salmon fillet. I can't ever come back.

I have lived down the street from here for about 3 years and always thought the place looked…read moresketchy. It looks like a biker bar on the outside. But... My momma always told me looks can be deceiving so we decided to check it out. We came here the Sunday during 4th of July weekend. The only person in the place was the bartender. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks. The bartender suggested that we try the Merkts cheese on our burgers so my boyfriend definitely went that route when we ordered. I ended up with a Cajun chicken sandwich and the boyfriend got some sort of burger. The food was phenomenal!! My chicken was cooked perfect. I will admit that the fries aren't my style. They have the really thin cut, almost shoestring, french fries. There is a nice seasoning on them. I'm just a fan of a more potatoy fry. Fast forward... It's late August now. We've gotten carry out a few times. This is where it's amazing. I can get a basic 1/3 # cheeseburger, my choice of cheese, with fries for $5. The burgers are just fantastic so this is always #1 when we want burgers. It's cheaper and better than McDonalds!!

They have Wrigley Field Memorabilia. Irish Flag high. Moose Head with a Cups Hat ! Several Slot machines. I love the modern and nice Jute Box/Music Box. Nice bartender, nice people for sure. Simple place to just stop and relax. Enjoy a break in a comfortable casual environment! $7 High Noon. Across from Dutchess Cannabis. And the Illinois Army National Guard Station.

We had heard about First Watch so once we picked up the rental car we decided to make it our first food stop. The restaurant is located in a shopping center so parking was super easy. As soon as we walked in I noticed how comfortable and family friendly the atmosphere was. At first the setup gave me a little IHOP vibe but once the food came out I immediately took that comparison back! We were a group of four and were seated right away. Our server came over quickly for our drinks and the food came out surprisingly fast. Everything was hot, fresh, flavorful, and seriously delicious. The staff was friendly, the restaurant felt welcoming, and even the bathrooms were clean which is always a plus. If you're in the Chicago area and looking for a good breakfast or brunch spot, First Watch is definitely worth a stop

The hostess understood the assignment. She had us wait a few minutes and then nabbed us and seated us a a very nice roomy booth. Coffee all around except for a lemonade for the little guy. Their coffee is exceptional. Food, I had the Godfather which was way too much food. My husband had the chilaquiles which he said was good and spicy. Son had a side of grilled chicken breast that he devoured in no time. We also had the pumpkin donuts which were amazing for dessert. Server was very nice and helpful throughout our meal. Hope to have her again next time we're out there.
