I also ordered Hawaiian wings, these were sweet and savory tasting wings. Lastly I ordered my wings to be well done but what I they weren't as crunchy as you would think a well done wing is supposed to be. In addition, I got the garlic Parmesan fries, these fries only came with Parmesan, there was no garlic on them. This is our first Wingstop experience. We got a family pack of 24 wings. 8 mild, 8 garlic parmesan, and 8 Louisiana rub. Side of fries, seasoned regularly (you have a choice of seasonings). Found the website a little tough to navigate, you can't see the flavors until you are actually in the ordering process. It would also be nice to have a heat scale. Fortunately, we chose right. The wings are huge, perfectly cooked and flavored. The sauces weren't gloopy, all had excellent flavor, and nothing was too hot for me and my husband, both fairly wimpy with spice. The ranch tasted homemade, and the fries, while a little soggy, tasted great. We will definitely be ordering again from Wingstop. It's great to have a wing carry out on Centreville. read more

The tenders were ok, the fries would be great if there hadn't been so much salt in the seasoning....I mean WAY TOO MUCH SALT! So much salt that we barely ate any fries. Wingstop's menu is pretty hit and miss, at prices that I think are just OK for the area. But if you're looking for somewhere you can quickly acquire a large quantity of traditional American-style wings, they are convenient and prompt takeout spot, with bonus points for online ordering. Order both wings and fries "extra well done" for maximum crispiness - although in my mind this just raises them both to my normal level of expectation for wings/fries, so this is pretty much just the default option for me. The side portions for veggie sticks/fries are huge and very shareable, so don't necessarily go with a 1:1 ratio of sides to people unless you're all famished. Fries are just OK. Veggie sticks are large and in pretty good shape. Chicken tenders are mostly breading. Good flavors: +Atomic - WOOO THAT'S HOT!!! I appreciate a wing sauce that can really deliver the heat. The sauce is a thick and oily mix of chili flakes that coats well and builds up on heat, so eat slowly. +Louisiana Rub - A flavorful dry rub that stays crispy, very slight cajun kick to it. +Original Hot - I'd say this is pretty much what you expect of a hot wing, decent flavor and heat, but not exceptional. Ehh flavors - across the board somewhat bland and unexciting: -Hickory Smoked BBQ -Hawaiian -Teriyaki Somewhat polarizing flavors - (I had both of these in chicken tender form only) *Brazilian Citrus Pepper - definite citrusy tang, very mild peppery finish. I think if this is supposed to be a dry rub it would be a pleasant traditional wing, but haven't tried this yet. *Garlic Parmesan - absolutely BURIED under Parmesan powder. As far as taste, definitely (mild on garlic) parmesan-ey... but becomes a soggy Parmesan paste-y mess within seconds. I got the 3 chicken tender combo, for ease of eating, and had 2 tossed in the Original Hot sauce and 1 tossed in the Cajun sauce with Blue Cheese as my dip. PROS: The chicken is real, not that stuff you get at other fast food places The fries are fresh cut and fresh made The blue cheese dressing has a hint of garlic and tastes fantastic The staff is friendly The restaurant is very clean (a definite pro!!!) Parmesan Garlic and Louisiana Rub were mild at best, nothing mouth watering. Hawaiian was sickly sweet, and I got tired of the taste after a couple wings. I expected a lot from Mango Habanero, as Buffalo Wild Wings has a great version of this. However, Wingstop's version had no spice and had just as much flavor. The treatment I received from a "manager" named Carla working the evening shift was unacceptable. When I asked about my order (50 pc wings and multiple sides) she was livid. I was trying to reason with her and the lack of respect received on my end makes me never want to give this business a chance. Her response to me asking "how does wing stop run out of chicken?" Was "go to McDonald's" & hung up on me. I tried calling multiple times and she never answered. I just called again and was unable to get her manager on the phone. Velocity 5 was the hands-down winner, but they closed (a devastating blow). WINGS STOP has excellent bone-in wings. They are just the right size and done well, and the original hot sauce is amazing. That's the great news. The bad news is their prices for wings are too high. And they have no specials for certain nights of the week. At Velocity 5, I could get a lot of wings as a great price. Here, the prices are set with combos. Getting only wings is not an option (and that's all I ever want), so it's too costly to do more than once in a while. The boneless wings are HORRIBLE! They are pre-breaded and that breading is too think and distracting from the chicken. So stick to the bone-in. I really hope this place comes up with a special $.50 wings night special sometime. read more

It all started with a late night Monday order for 20 boneless wings when I got home and opened up my meals it looked as if people put boneless wings in a container and drizzled sauce all over it. Unfortunately it was around closing so when we called back all they could do is offer a free 20 boneless wings. So, The next day I had another long day so I figured why not order the wings again... however when I called the store at 10:00pm exact, it kept giving me a busy signal. I called eight more times from 10 to 10:30 and it was a busy signal the whole time.... Really led me to believe they just didn't want to take anymore orders. So the next day I decided I would just place my order earlier. I placed an order for food 05/18 around 8:40pm with the expectation it would be ready in 20 minutes... I showed up 40 minutes later to only be treated as if they had forgotten about my order and I still had to wait for my food. We randomly found the place online and decided to stop in and give them a try. We loved it! We got 20 wings with the Hawaiian Sauce, Louisiana dry rub, and original hot sauce. I loved the hot sauce. Hawaiian was perhaps a bit on the sweet and bland side. Louisana Rub was a bit salty but not bad. The wings were well done and crispy. I read some complaints that they were small but ours were the perfect size. Wings that are too big tend to have a lot of fat on them, wings that are too small have little meat on them. The pricing is pretty good compared to other places in the area. We can't wait to go there and try some of the other sauces. read more

Been here twice. Food is decent. First time I went the cashier was polite and very appreciative of my business. This second time, not so much. I placed an online order today around 1 for pickup at 5. When I arrived at 5:01, I was told I'd have to wait five minutes. After five minutes elapsed, the cashier said I would have to wait a bit longer. When I explained that I placed my order online four hours ago for pickup at 5, he argued with me that they still had to cook the wings and, had they prepared it beforehand, I would have had cold wings. Another 5 or 6 or minutes later, my order was ready. Call me crazy, but when I place an order for pickup at 5, that means my order should be ready at 5. That doesn't mean that you start cooking at 5. And it certainly does not mean you should argue with the customer about this. So if anyone out there orders ahead, make sure you set your pickup time to 10-15 minutes before when you plan to show up.
