I have had issues with this location. They are rude and unprofessional to say the least. They take forever to get your food done no matter how many people order. They take care of friends and family first instead of customers that have been waiting witnessed on multiple occasions. Music with explicit language blaring during business hours with children in hearing range. Not to mention cashiers with EarPods in not listening to your order as you try to say it for the 3rd time. This is my third time visiting this Wingstop. The first couple of times the wings were only half coated in the flavor. For this third time, I asked if they can ensure the wings were fully coated in the flavor. Spoiler alert...they weren't. The fries was were half done and soaked in grease with barely any seasoning on it. They were inedible and disgusting. I tried to rebake them in the oven, but was unsuccessful. Worst customer service I have seen in a very long time. There is an older black lady who works at the cash register at the Cary location and she was very rude to both the customer in front of me, and then rude to me and my family. My 10 year old daughter even asked me, why is that lady so mean? It's pretty bad when I have to explain to my 10 year old why a Wingstop employee is being rude and mean. This lady should not be in any customer service position. She is representing Wingstop very poorly and I hope the owners of Wingstop read this. These are hands down some of the worst fries I've had in my life. How old was that oil? They were dark brown! Gross. One of the wing flavors was pretty good. I want to give 0 stars. I just called at 2:23 the wingstop in Cary and ordered a 10 piece lemon pepper and she said it was 11.75 ok no problem. She then asks do I was ranch or blue cheese I say 2 ranch she says ok it 13.70 something. I said ok wait. You just said 11.75 she said yeah the ranch 1.25 each so I say never mind just do the ranch yall give no extra she then says we don't give ranch. I said so I'm buying food from y'all but y'all don't give any condiments. I'm ok. And hung up. That makes no sense. If I buy nuggets from McDonald's they give sauce. If I order a salad they give dressing. She had the worst service and I usually don't write reviews. Especially bad ones. But is she didn't want to work she should stay tf home! Worst service ever! If you love your wings to have more grease than sauce, this is the best place to go! I'm a picky wing eater but tonight, I decided to let my walls down and try some place new. I decided on Wingstop because I knew Rick Ross opened up a couple of these and I thought it might be good. I was wrong, very very wrong. I don't know if it's just this Wingstop or all of them but the wings were greasy. Basically 5% sauce 95% grease. I even dipped my finger in my mild sauce to see if it was just my taste buds but that was even worse! Even the blue cheese didn't impress me, it tasted like ranch. The wings also had a bare minimum amount of sauce. The only thing that I would come back for is their fries, the fries are my favorite! Customer service was good. The cash register lady took everyone's order nice and quickly. The restaurant was clean and neat and their sanitation score was a 99.5. I would not recommend going here for wings. read more

I'm rating high because I'm satisfied and had a positive experience. Its not like this place is reinventing the wheel. The wings were cooked crispy, and were average size, and the soda machine was out of stuff it was advertising as new... But the sauces were solidly delicious, and the customer service was really good. He let us try some of the sauces ahead of time and we got three flavors we really, really enjoyed. This is our go-to wing place in town. Consistently good wings and fries, and I love the coke machine with all the options for drinks. We never dine in but the takeout results are great. I've ordered ahead before and it was ready when I got there 10 mins later. And I've walked in and ordered and it's been ready in less than 10 min. All the chairs were on tables when we walked in and we were meeting friends so they took them off one table. I'm not sure why the restaurant looked closed when they didn't close for another 2 hours. So finally i went up and asked and it had been sitting there for the whole time. No one called it out or bothered to care. I then asked for a refund because my friends were done with their food and she didn't apologize all she did was blame the cook for not calling it out. They didn't offer us anything after we waited in an empty restaurant for nothing. I have managed restaurants and this is just no care for the customer and clearly all they wanted to do was go home. My wife and I ordered our food (while sitting in our car outside of the store) online, which stated that it would be ready in 18-23 minutes. The manager came up and said, here is your order (MY FOOD WAS READY AND NO ONE SAID ANYTHING TO ME)! The manager (short, light brown African American female with curly hair and a VERY NASTY ATTITUDE) asked my wife why she was canceling the order. My wife explained our current social situation and told her that at least the people who are up front dealing with the public should have masks on. The visibly irritated manager said that IT IS NOT REQUIRED BY LAW. She also stated that she would refund our money back on the card. When my wife asked for a receipt, the clearly perturbed manager asked her employee to print a receipt. She said "Have a good night" and stormed off to the back. My wife then asked to speak with the manager to get her to annotate "refunded" with her signature on the back of receipt for her records. We heard the manager say to her employee, "I'm busy, I don't have time". The employee returned with the receipt which had a scribble mark on the top front (her signature???). There were four people cooking and two on the register, and NO ONE WAS WEARING A MASK OR GLOVES IN THIS GLOBAL PANDEMIC. Even the customers didn't have masks on. My wife and I were the only ones with masks on. From start to finish, the customer service was UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISTASTEFUL. I visited Wing Stop 3 times and was glad they existed; however, on my 4th visit I wound up with FOOD POISONING, and was admitted to the hospital for 2 days. Because of my previous positive experiences, I called to let them know, as a courtesy, what had occurred. The response was to ignore my call, so I left one additional message, which they again ignored. Stopped by for lunch. All they serve are wings and fries, so the menu is very simple and laid out nicely. This restaurant is not table service, so you place your order at the register and they call your name to pick up the order when it's ready. There is only one register, so it was a little backed up around noon. I had boneless wings and fries. You can split your sauces up to two ways if you like. I tried habenero mango and teriyaki. Both were run of the mill, you can tell these are probably bottled sauces and not made in house. The boneless wings were ok they were not overly breaded.
