I hadn't been here in over a year since I had a bad experience the first time. I had read some recent good reviews so I decided to give it another chance. I ordered my food to go, and sat in my car until 10 minutes before the time that the app said that it would be done. I went inside and they had several orders waiting on the to-go rack, so I asked if my order was ready. The girl working the counter asked my name and checked the bags and said it wasn't ready. I sat on the bench in front of the counter and waited. Finally, 10 minutes after the time that my order was supposed to be ready. I asked again if my order was ready and she handed me a bag that had been sitting up there. My fries were soggy... probably would have been going fresh.The wings were ok. read more

The employees are very nice. The restaurant was very clean, and I was pleased with how clean the restaurant was. However, I bought wings for a friend of mine and for myself. My friend said his wings were perfect and he loved them. My wings were tough, they just seem to be overcooked. I will give this place another try just not today. This is our favorite Wingstop. Have eaten at many in Texas. Always clean and food is good. Never taken more than 10 minutes for our order to arrive, even on busy sports weekends. Manager always ask if we need anything, and offering to get us refills on drinks. Best in Texas. Large seating area. Manager needs training. I placed and online order that didn't show up on their carry out tv however when they searched their system on their iPad they could see the order had processed and was paid. They had an issue with their system not my order and they told me they wanted me to wait for them to start the order after it finally showed up on their tv. Why? That's an issue you take up with upper management or the owner. You don't lose a customer over a $40 order when the issue is in your system. Any sensible manager would be embarrassed by their mistakes and making the customer wait and making the hungry people waiting for food wait longer. Not an intelligent manager. Despite some negative reviews we wanted to give this Wingstop location a try. We love Wingstop. I will mention I always order on my app prior to arrival because everything is cooked fresh and takes a little bit. But I decided to give them a second try. Result? Same thing! Their wings are not flavorful like other wingstops in other cities. The garlic Parmesan tastes like Parmesan. The Hawaiian teriyaki? I don't even know wth that is. It's like some brown milky sauce that tastes NOTHING like other places. The mango habanero tastes like habanero without mango. You can't even taste the flavor of the habanero, just the taste (i.e. bland!). Their Cajun? Tasteless. I'm not sure who's making the sauce recipes, but geez the food TERRIBLE here. I love wingstop. Anyone can attest to that. This location? A huge disappointment. You'd think they'd get it right the first time (this ain't the first wingstop), maybe the second. This location? Nope. To the review that mentioned to give them a try to get it right, they shouldn't have to - they're a franchise. They should already have it right. It's not the employees, it's the food. I got on the app to place an order. The order was delivered and it was wrong. I called the restaurant and said it was wrong. I was told if I wanted it done correctly then I can come in and pick up the corrected order. I stated that I paid for delivery and it wasn't my fault the order was wrong. I was then told, " it doesn't matter, if you want the correct order, than you will have to come get it." Forever lost me as a customer. Have eaten here several times, Big hit and miss on the flavor of the wings. Last batch of mild Buffalo I got was so sweet for some reason, I couldn't finish eating them. Tried the fries several times and they have a not good sweet flavor too and other people I know have mentioned the same thing. I'm not sure what's going on here. So... I've been patiently waiting for months to have a new good option in Brownwood. We have eaten at many other locations in Austin and have been very happy with the experience. Sadly this wasn't the case here. When we walked in there was a decent crowd but now packed. There was one guy in front of us ordering so I didn't realize we would wait 50 min for the greasiest wings on earth!! Not only did the wings disappoint on all levels...the fries were cold. I ordered my meal by app and it was user friendly. When I got there though they were having issues getting the orders for all the customers together. My food was ready as stated by the app so I didn't have to wait long, but for the incoming customers they did have an hour wait. Its still new in the area, so I have to say they have a lot of kinks they still need to work out. But overall, food was fresh and wonderful as usual.
