Wonderful stop in Brownwood, Texas. Brisket tacos were amazing. The menu items were excellent and the Marguerites were too good to explain. Try the flight and get a taste of six. read more

While the service was prompt & my food was hot, fresh & tasty, I'm SOOOO disappointed in their hot sauce! I don't care for it AT ALL! I would much prefer a nice hot batch (no Tabasco or vinegar taste, but chunky with tomatoes, onions, cilantro and Serranos). NOW THAT'S A GREAT HOT SAUCE!! read more

Always great, always consistent event hough they seem short staffed. The staff they have works really hard to get the job done!

Our ticket was misplaced and we waited an extended time for our food, however the staff and owner went above and beyond to make things right! Food was amazing and would highly recommend read more

How did I not know about this amazing Taco Shop? My son took me here and I was so impressed! The food, service and atmosphere is top notch!! The owner himself came around asking if everything was okay and asked if we needed anything. This is now my favorite stop for my taco cravings! read more

4 stars is pushing it for me but 3 stars would not be enough either. This place definitely seems like a local favorite. Super cute design, fun, menu items, great drink selection, and great stuff with great personality. Prices seemed a little high, but we were willing to give it a shot. We were just passing through and somebody recommended this place. It was cute to see all the locals come in with their cups and I noticed that it was lifetime refills. Great way to keep people coming back in. I really liked how intricate the ingredients of some of the tacos were. It made it seem like it was something out of this world. Let me start off by saying the tortillas definitely tasted store-bought. They weren't fresh homemade tortillas. The meat in the tacos and the burrito was very minimal considering the price of all the dishes. I definitely felt like I was eating more fillers than the main star of the dish. I ordered a fried avocado taco which I couldn't taste the avocado at all. There literally was a fourth of an avocado on my taco. My grilled shrimp taco and was OK but it almost 4 dollars a taco, It wasn't worth the extra. Now their specialty brisket taco had a nice sauce that was really flavorful. All the flavors married together nicely but again I tasted more sauce than meat. My son ordered the burrito and he had so many bites that were just tortilla. It was sad. The rice and beans were nothing to write home about. Nothing stood out about them. We asked for salsa, we were given the salsa, but told that we should've asked for it before hand so they could've charged us for it. I love my tacos. I love breakfast tacos, Cali, tacos, Mexico, tacos, Tex-Mex, tacos, any and all. I just wasn't highly impressed with these. And a real shame for me because the ambience and all the cute sayings and the colors just screamed cool. And like I said, this seems like a local hotspot. It's not really off the main road so I hope they continue to enjoy their place. Sorry it just wasn't our thing. Again the concept and the ordering staff are what made this experience to get a four-star. read more

Fuzzy's Taco Shop - Me and Matt. - Tex-Mex Near Me - Brownwood, Texas

We ordered a taco platter with cilantro rice and beans. The rice and beans were all mixed together. Once;. I dug the beans out they were hard and dry. The next order we thought we ordered the chicken fajita tacos like in the picture. What we got was a foil wrapped soggy taco with pieces of a corn tortilla. Gave 2 stars because the chips, hot sauce and tea were good. read more

First time in today. Spent 18 for lunch. Chicken Quesadillas were ok. Paid for chips and queso. I would have to say save your money and eat at a regular Mexican restaurant instead of fast food. You get more for your money and it's more authentic. Service is great. This place is all atmosphere. The food is fair. read more

Service is fine. Location is great. The back patio is wonderful. The food is just terrible. I do not see how people keep coming back here. Taco Bell has better quality ingredients. Two stars because of the outside, which I don't even think is theirs. Could this be swapped for a Torchy's or Freebirds? read more

Fuzzy's is a laid back little nook that is connected to Shaw's Marketplace. Fuzzy's awesome staff greets you and cheerfully gets you set up with their southwest fare and/ or their hefty margarita menu. The establishment features numerous televisions which have various sporting events playing. It's a fantastic place to link up after work for an amazing frozen margarita. On weekends, they frequently have live music in their outdoor courtyard. While you're there, don't forget to browse Shaw's Market. You'll be glad you did. read more

We highly recommend Fuzzy's in Brownwood! They catered a nacho bar for our daughter's wedding, and it was a huge hit! Everyone seriously loved it. We had plenty of food for our guests, and everything tasted fabulous! The owner even personally came to make sure everything went well. The price was reasonable for what we got, the food was excellent and all the right temperature, delivery was on time and it all went as expected. We are super pleased with how it all came together! read more

Love love love Fuzzys! Great atmosphere and food is yummy. Love that it's in downtown area and has a hometown vibe. Owners are great people & make everyone feel like family. Shaws Marketplace Brisket Taconext door is a bonus! read more

Never been to the one in Brownwood until today. I won't be going back. Ordered the brisket quesadilla, thinking it would be stuffed with meat. Wrong. This was the section with the most meat, and that's pretty sad. But after taking a few bites, I was almost wishing they'd left the meat off. I'm pretty sure they microwaved it for too long, it was so rubbery it was inedible. C'mon Fuzzys, you can do better. Does the one in Stephenville need to show you how it's done? read more

Nothing special, terrible parking. Our go to Mexican is House of Leon in Early. 12345

Fuzzy's never lets me down, this location is great. Good food as always along with great service!

Very fresh and willing to deliver. I have not had the opportunity to visit them in person. However the food has been amazing and for our catering service read more

This is our go to for TexMex in our city. Everything I've eaten here is very good the fajita chicken burrito being my favorite. The owners invest in the community as well, so I'll keep coming back for the food and investment this restaurant gives back. read more

The food was less than superb. The margaritas tasted like cheep tequila. Have had better luck elsewhere

Now I've been to a lot of fuzzys in my time, but never one such as this. Great food, excellent customer service and exemplary management. Josh came by to check on us and was very courteous. We'll be back! read more

super delicious! super fast! service was excellent! only complaint was the claw machine is rigged! lol read more

We came 20 minutes before closing and the service was quick and friendly. The tacos were excellent.

I love a good Fuzzy's. But this isn't it. Parking is a nightmare. The food is below average. Chips are always stale. Queso is always cold. And the tacos taste like they came outa the microwave. They should really look into having a manager from a more experienced Fuzzy's take over before it fails. The line moves pretty slow and it just isn't worth the wait. read more

I had such high hopes. The aesthetic is good - but the food did not match. Very overdone protiens in the tacos I ordered. Seems they are still trying to figure it out. The manager looked lost, and uninterested in service. Neat setting - but you can have all the bows and whistles and not deliver on food and you never regain for some. The margarita I ordered was undrinkable - not sure what they are using for a mix - but this needs work. Nice people - but they have work to do. I hope they can get it worked out. I had been to other Fuzzy's in Texas and they really seemed to deliver - this must be an owner or management issue. I will try it again - but they need to hit the mark or it won't last long under present set up. I hate writing such a review. read more

This place is out of pocket. First they want a tip with no actual customer service. I'm not sure what kind of armadillo meat they use but my wife almost kicked me out the house bc of the Oder coming out of my body. It took me a month to recover and the place was pretty dirty . Avoid if you don't wanna smell like 3 dead coyotes on side of the hwy read more

Nothing like a Fuzzys to shake things up in Brownwood!! I have tried our newest location (here in Brownwood) 3 times now and it surpasses my expectations every time. The queso with taco meat is to die for, the quesadilla is just perfect and that FuzzyDriver, maaan!. Every time I have visited, the general manager Josh has always reached out and made sure everything was perfect. He was working alongside his staff and still managing to satisfy customer needs! So excited for this restaurant! read more

Service staff is friendly, food is great. This is a place for street tacos with cotija cheese instead of cheddar, borracho or black beans, and very good queso blanco with seasoned chips. Fish and shrimp tacos are awesome- try the California Heat. read more

Good stuff... tacos, salads, nachos. Best of all drinks... gotta type more cuz it says it won't post unless I do.

On behalf of the GFU Bruins the tacos were exactly what we needed after our game. Thank for working with our team!

Food was okay. Service from the cashier was good. She was very friendly and welcoming. This was my first time at this Fuzzy's location and the time it took to get our food took awhile. I will give them grace as it was Sunday at lunch and maybe the early church crowd backed the kitchen up. Will give it another try again though! read more

Food here is amazing. Highly suggest the shredded chicken nachos or the queso shrimpico taco. Service is great.
