    Jerk traditional dry rub wings..

Quick and fast service. I liked the mango flavored beer... The jerk dry rub wings were fairly decent for a dry rub... The chipotle peach dipping sauce was good with the jerk wings..

Sweet chilli chacha wings and hot honey garlic

Ordered boneless hot honey garlic and the sweet chili chacha wings. I enjoyed both but more the hot honey garlic it's different. Wings are too small. I think next time I would order traditional. Went during lunch was not too busy. Great place to watch your sports.

Twice deep fried tatter tots! Hard crunchy and no taste.

I ordered tater tots and it looks like they took tatter tots that they cook hours a go and re cooked them. No taste hard a crunchy..

First time here. I've seen the place before, and wondered what it was like. Finally stopped. It was pretty empty when we walked in. Had just gone hiking and had built up an appetite. And who doesn't love wings?!? And a beer! I do hard cider and they had this pomcherry hard cider. Omgoodness. Yum!! Couldn't get enough! Ordered my usual parm garlic wings. Traditional. Server was nice. Made small talk. Wings weren't spectacular or extraordinary. Typical parm garlic. Could've been fried more as they were a bit on the soggier side. I'd return and try another flavor.

Ordered wings TNT dang it started out pretty good but then it kicked in whoa . Potabella mushrooms were ok but wings are sneaky hot. Love it. Beers were cold and crisp.

Boneless chicken wings aka nothing but breading

This place has fell off big time. Used to be my wing spot but now their boneless wings have gotten skimpy. Barely any chicken as you can see in the picture. It's more breading than chicken tbh. Horrible! Will definitely try to find another wing joint. SMH, sad cause this place used to be really good when they opened up, wings used to be amazing.

Mahalo Que and Sweet Cha Cha sauces on juicy jumbo traditional wings.

I am so excited that my husband and I have found this new spot! Lately, I have been disappointed with other wing restaurants. I felt the quality really went down and the wings lack meat! So when I saw an advertisement for this place I was eagerly excited to give it a try. And we are so happy we did. For the appetizer, we went with the beer battered cheddar bites. The breading was good, it has a nice crisp to it and not burnt. They reminded me a lot like mozzarella sticks but in a ball size. Overall they tasted good. For the wings you are best to go with the traditional as ita a good bang for your buck! When they say jumbo they mean it. The wings had a great portion of meat. My husband ordered the boneless and they were smaller portions more like bite size but just as tasty. He is not a typical traditional wing eater however, he said he will be back to order them next time. SCORE! lol. They offer 22 different sauces to choose from. Our waitress was very helpful and allowed us to sample multiple sauces we were curious about since we have never been here before and wanted to make sure we picked our favorite ones. Overall, they give you a lot of options in case you aren't in the mood for wings. Like burgers, sandwiches and ribs. For dessert we ordered the oreo churros and they were delicious! Definitely recommend those if you have a sweet tooth. The only thing I was a little unhappy with was our server not coming back to us in a timely manner. There were periods we were waiting for her to come to our table but it was busy so that's always something to be considered. We will definitely come back again. Excited to try more new things.

Two words... FROZEN MARGARITAS! These guys have excellent wings but have burgers and veggie options too. They have a lot of beers and and area for gaming. It's super clean and the staff is great. Bring yourself here to watch any sports bc they have a ton of screens.

    Chicken tender basket

Our first trip to Minooka's brand new bar and grill which occupies what used to be a KFC. Upon entering we were both impressed with the work they did on remodeling what used to be a standard fast food restaurant. The addition is nice as well and features tables of different sizes though no tables for parties of two. The smallest table we saw besides the high tops seated a minimum of five. Many of the tables in the front section were also jammed too close together. Service was good and quick. I loved that they have Diet Mountain Dew on fountain. My wife ordered fried shrimp with tater tots and Mac and cheese. I ordered the chicken tenders basket with regular fries (curly fries or tots were the other side choices). Food came pretty quickly and my chicken tenders were very, very hot. The breading was crispy and the chicken tasted great. The only letdown was the substandard fries. They weren't hot or particularly crispy. My wife's shrimp were good but nothing special. Tater tots were ordered extra crispy but were not even close to crispy let alone extra crispy. On the other hand the Mac and cheese was great. They have a huge menu, plenty of drink choices and good service. Food wise, only based on what we ordered, we both felt we were eating standard food service food that we could get in a lot of places. I know we didn't have wings but will try on our next visit. Overall we're happy they're here and I think they'll do well with their bar food menu and drink choices. They also have great lunch specials that are also good for carry out.

I like the smaller tastier wings I do not want big fat wings with no taste. The sauce is a mild medium and I thought it was excellent

The atmosphere is more like a sports bar, but the food as we would learn is like that serviced at a fine dining restaurant. We arrived on a Friday night around 8:30 PM and were immediately greeted and seated. There were some patrons at the bar, and a couple of tables and booths were occupied. We ordered drinks and appetizers right away. V ordered the Basement Old Fashion and I ordered a Chocolate Martini. The drinks arrived first, and V made a face when he tasted his drink, the funny thing is, his comment was that it was all alcohol, the exact opposite of his typical drink review. I tasted his, but I'm not really a bourbon person, so I didn't care for it. My chocolate martini was ok, nothing special, but I've never had a chocolate martini I didn't like, so it was safe. We ordered Steak Bites (well done) and Capese Bruschetta appetizers. They arrived soon after the drinks. We started with the Bruschetta, which is a good-sized serving, six pieces piled high with cheese, tomatoes, more cheese (I'd swear), basil, and topped with a splash of balsamic vinegar. It was very tasty, and we cleaned the plate. Next, we tried the Steak Bites, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection, the portabella mushrooms, roasted peppers, spring mix, and ranch were paired to make my mouth water for more. Both appetizers were quite good, but the steak bites were exceptional. As we were eating the appetizers, our waitress asked if we wanted anything else as the kitchen closes at 9pm (she thinks?). I was surprised by this as they're open until 10pm Fridays. At any rate, we ordered the baked Salmon entree for V and the Shrimp Po-boy sandwich for me. The salmon was offered with a couple of different toppings, V selected the lobster topping, basically it was smothered in a lobster sauce, and it tasted quite good. He mentioned how good the vegetables of the day were several times, so they must have been very good. He said his garlic mashed potatoes were fine, I tasted them and they were dry. That was the only true negative, they just needed a little more milk, or butter when they were made. I selected the Shrimp Po-boy, which came with fries. The fried Shrimp, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Pickle, and Remoulade Sauce on French Bread was really an awesome tasty combination. The pickle pulled it all together for me. The fries were flavorful and really hit the spot along with the sandwich. For desert, V ordered Carrot Cake. The waitress was on her game, and brought two forks :) The cake it's self was most and flavorful, the iciing was yummy. On the side they included thinly sliced strawberries with whip cream. The waitress was good, she was timely, friendly, and followed up after each course. In summary, presentation, food quality and quantity, as well as service were all top notch. The only true ding was that the mashed potatoes were a little dry. I cant take a star off for that. .

Now, having a restaurant option that is 5 minutes away is a welcome treat. We went in on a Wednesday evening. It was late, probably too late to take our kiddo out, but this time of year is busy. After a day full of school and sports, we needed dinner. Papa Magoos was on our way home, so we gave it a shot. I walked in and almost immediately wanted to leave. It was 8 p.m. on a Wednesday night, there were maybe 15 people in the restaurant area, and there was a DJ blasting tunes loud enough that you couldn't have a conversation at your own table. Kind of an odd play for a Wednesday night, but maybe I'm just too old. Fortunately, we asked the waitress if we could sit in the side room with some video games - a much quieter area. Another couple had their kids there and all of the kids bonded over the hockey table. Service was great - our waitress was very attentive, honest about recommendations, and didn't steer us wrong. For an appetizer, we started with cheese curds paired with their ranch, buffalo, and marinara. Let me tell you - the cheese curds were a solid 8 out of 10 - but the portion size was huge. It's by far the largest order of curds we have ever received. I almost wished it was smaller because they were so good we ate the whole order - and it was just too much! All of the sauces were delicious. After those curds, my wife and I decided to split eight wings and fries, and the kiddo got a hot dog off of the kids menu. The bone-in the wings were served naked, as in just fried with skin on - no breading. The wings were enormous - and after those curds, we ate only two. We got four tossed in buffalo and four plain, with Garlic Parmesan and Mango Habanero on the side. The buffalo is a bit nontraditional looking, but it's excellent. The Mango Habanero was also nontraditional looking, but it was decent as well - but don't expect a lot of heat; it's sweeter, and the buffalo was hotter. The Garlic Parm was my least favorite, but it wasn't bad. We had to order a basket of fries on the side - which was entirely too much, but the fries are really good - straight cut, done a bit well and topped with some kind of salty seasoning and parsley. The kid's hot dog was not bad - it was served on a bun that was just a bit too big and fancy for my 6-year-old, and the hot dog itself was either overcooked or had a tough skin that I had to cut with a knife for him. Either way, it tasted good and came with a generous portion of fries. Two fountain drinks, a water, and a 20% tip came out to $60. It's not the cheapest, but that's the world we live in today. I could have saved $8 or so by not getting the huge order of fries with the wings. I've been taking a break from alcohol for a bit - but I did notice they had a slightly above par selection of craft beer on draft. Mostly IPAs, but at least it's not just Green Line from Goose. They had selections from Buckle-Down, Lagunitas, Revolution, and cans from Will County, among others. Don't worry, all your favorite macro lagers are here too. Papa Magoos definitely exceeded expectations - and I'll be back to try different things on the menu. Bonus that it's a short drive away in an area that is pretty much a desert of restaurant
