The service and kitchen are so slow it's ridiculous. When the food comes it's good if hot enough - usually have to send it back to get it hotter. But pack a ton of patience to go to this Union location. Can't figure out why they are struggling so much at this location. We just do to Crestview now. What an awful experience my friend and our children. We waited 20 minutes without service while others who arrived after us were getting their drinks. After asking the hostess for help, it took another 10 minutes to be served. Despite my friend requesting a discount for the delay, we were charged for the appetizer they offered as compensation. Went to Wings and Rings with my family including my 2 YO grandson. This has to be the worst mismanaged restaurant we've ever been to. We got a table quickly but took over 20 minutes to even have a waitress come to the table and greet us and take an order. Drinks came about 45 minutes being there. Food came after being there 1.5 hours. There were other people who came in after us that got drinks and food very quickly. Manager never came over to apologize which I thought would have been the least they could do. Went during lunch and it took forever for everything. The waiter just played on his phone and did nothing. The bartender was a great help though. This was our first time at this location and it was a great experience. We had a party of 6. Our waiter Ethan H. was great! He was very personable and always checking back on us. The chips and queso was a big portion, and the queso was delicious. Their onion rings are crunchy, not greasy, and yummy. Everyone ordered wings, some bone in, and some boneless. I ordered 10 boneless with half blueberry bbq sauce, which was really really delish, and half medium buffalo. From the reviews we were hesitant to eat here, but gave it a shot and we were all really happy we did. We will definitely be back to try other menu items! You may have noticed that there is one star here. There should be none. Good food is one matter. Serving it is another matter all together. This morning, my wife of now three weeks and I wanted chicken wings for breakfast. We slept over, so why not. So we thought we can give Wings N Rings another try. It didn't work out before. It didn't work out this time either. My lovely wife made the order and sent it in. It was picking up the order that I am addressing. I always went through the front door of the business. Verified the order and that it has been paid for, and sit and wait for it to be brought to me. The "person" who was at the register, told me that I should go to the drive up to get my order "next time".... I'm sorry? I have always collected my food at the front door. There was a second "employee". I asked her, "What is she talking about?", "What does she mean....?" That "employee" turned around and walked away from me, went to the kitchen and stood in a corner. ( It's glass, so You can see the kitchen from the front of the store.) I was livid. The disrespect! Totally unacceptable. I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER eat anything from this establishment again. There was no misunderstanding, I didn't get it wrong, I didn't start this mess. They started it telling me not to come through the front door. Big mistake. I stood at the front desk for 10 minutes waiting on someone to seat me. No one ever came out so I left. The bar tender saw me standing there and he never even acknowledged me. Do I constantly try about every wing place I can find so here we are at BW&R yeah yeah I know I should just spell it out. So the Buffalo chicken nachos were on spot highly recommend. The service is very good, they really do take care of you. The food is fresh and hot restaurant was very clean when we were seated they re-cleaned the table, that's always good in these crazy times. The wings were cooked perfectly the salads were excellent, so I never give 5 stars but they definitely are 4.5! read more

Servers are always incredibly nice but this specific Wings and Rings location seems to be poorly managed. More times than not, our orders come out incorrect. Yesterday they forgot to put BBQ sauce with my kids tenders and my wings that were supposed to be extra hot came out with no spice. The kids didn't know the difference but I asked for the wings to be re-tossed. Again, they came out with no spice. I was hungry though so I didn't complain further. I've ate at other locations so I'm pretty familiar with heat levels. I looked at the receipt though and the server did her job correctly. However, there is a correlation between restaurants who constantly make mistakes like these and ones who have lazy managers. In any successful restaurant I've worked in, managers touch every table to ensure quality service. We watched the manager for over an hour, stand back in the server alley with her hands in her pockets. She seemed to not care at all about the customer experience. I love the other locations of this restaurant but this one seems far below the company standard. It's clean and has friendly service but just be prepared that your food may not be served correctly. read more

Thought we'd try W&R for a first visit. We had a lengthy delay at the hostess station when arriving. There were four employees at the station and no one knew what they were doing. After finally being seated, it was 5 minutes before our waiter returned. We ordered two cocktails from the menu and waited another 10 minutes before they were delivered. Neither cocktail was correct and then we were told that the bartender was new. After waiting another 10 minutes on new drinks, we finally left the restaurant and informed the waiter to cancel our order. Never saw a manager and there were plenty of people coming in waiting to be seated. It's no fault of the waiter who was friendly and apologetic, it all came down to very poor management. We will not return to this restaurant. I'm not sure how they'll stay open if they're this poorly managed. Ownership and management need to take a close look at training procedures and get it right. I really appreciate the fact that this place has a drive through. But, it's not worth it anymore. I ordered 10 boneless wings with the sauce on the side and bleu cheese. This was my third visit to this restaurant. First two times food was excellent and the service was great. This time I sat at the bar food came out wrong but was quickly corrected Service on the other hand was poor at best. The bar itself had 2 other parties plus me Total lack of attention to cleaning away dirty dishes ,keeping drinks full seemed to be the challenge. Decent menu and beverage selection spoilt by inattentive, unsmiling and slow service. Door desk staff too busy gossiping to acknowledge customers. Cold food served with no silverware. And Stella beer advertised as 16oz and 22oz when glasses being used are 11 and 13.5 fluid oz, that filled to the top are maybe another 1.5-2 ozs. So I normally hate giving bad reviews, but sometimes it's just needed. We went right when they opened and it was great. Every other time we've been back for carry out it has been awful experiences. Our order has been wrong almost every time and we have to wait so long for them to be remade and there was two times where even the remakes were wrong. We've been offered gift cards for our orders being wrong and I appreciate management trying to make the situation better but obviously there's a lack somewhere where information is not getting passed on correctly. The staff is really nice and I know they're always catching flack for a long wait or items being wrong and they're trying to remain positive. This location is so close to our house and it's worth the drive to Crestview Hills because our order has never been wrong there and at the Union location you will wait just as long for a remake. We will probably not be back for awhile because we've just been so disappointed. I really hope they get it figured out! read more
