This is by far the best wings 101 location taste wise. The fries are nice and crispy and the wings are never dry. + the service is always quick. Knocking down from a 5 to a 4 because I think I was just a little too hyped the first time I went and also they could not do all flats. If you're a wing spot that offers all flats but cannot provide all flats, that's an issue. There should be flats for days (figuratively). It's my favorite wing place but it's definitely not healthiest one to go too! I have been coming here for years and you can make it quick stop if you call them up on the way there, they usually say it will be ready in 10 minutes. Don't try to call in an order 30 minutes before they're closing because they won't take it which is very reasonable. I can't recommend it to anyone looking to loses weight and eat health even though they are the worst of wing places in town. There was only 1 thing that I did not like but that 1 thing was enough for me to knock my rating from 4 to 3 stars. PROS: -10 wings, fried rice and a drink for less than $11 -Cooked the wings extra crispy like I wanted -Fried rice was good. Not loaded with soy sauce and salt. I liked the fresh Bell pepper in it CON: -the wing sauces did not do it for me. The lemon pepper was unlike any other lemon pepper wing I've had. It was a thick and goopy sauce which didn't have the taste I was looking for. The hot buffalo wings were not hot and even fell short in the flavor department for me. The rice was pretty good for it being a wing place. You do have to add soy sauce and some sriracha to give it a nice flavor! The wings were also pretty yummy. I asked for the extra hot sauce on the side and it wasn't too spicy for my husband when he tried it. I love spicy food and he usually eats medium to hot. After dining at Wings 101 this past Friday, I have to echo Michael B.'s sentiments: How is there such a high average on Yelp for this place? This isn't a case of unrealistic expectations dashed. I really did want to like this place, but everything I sampled was teetering on the edge of mediocre and bland. When we first arrived, it was pretty busy and there was a steady wave of customers coming in the duration of our wait - this was a good sign, I thought. The service was fair, the cashiers were nice and everything came out fairly quickly. I had the Turkey burger and five wings combo ($9.99), which also comes with a side of crinkle cut fries and a drink. The BF also chose the combo but with a gyro and the bbq wings. Yes, besides wings they have burgers and gyros - not to mention stir-fry, shrimp, tilapia and more. However, with the quality of my food, I don't believe I'll be returning to try their other menu items. The main problem with most of the items were that they were pretty flavorless: the burger, the gyro, and the fries..I hate to draw the comparison but these items reminded me a bit of the food serverd in my high school cafeteria - not a good sign. The wings were decent, but really small. Like baby chicks-small. Also a heads up on their lemonade: it's sweet, really sweet; there's probably less sugar in the Coke products. I don't really like the ambiance here enough to eat inside, but it's cool for a wing spot. The staff can be a bit rude and obnoxious at times but like I said, cool for a wing spot. Visited this location on 06/04/21 and was disappointed by the fact that my wings were cold upon receiving my order. They are putting sauce on pre made wings and it's obvious. This is a pretty good wing spot. I got the honey hot and hot wings and they tasted pretty similar honestly but the taste was great. When you walk in, the place is kinda small, but they have plenty of seats to sit about 20 customers. I came in during lunch rush, so I can understand not receiving any greeting because there was a line. Service was quick, which is great because it took about minutes to get my food, but the one thing I didn't like was feeling rushed to order. It was my first time there and wanted to look at the menu, but they kept eyeballing me. So I ordered something common -- 10 wings (5 honey hot and 5 lemon pepper) with beef fried rice. The honey hot wings and lemon pepper wings were so good!!! They were juicy, wet, and crispy. The flavor profile was on point!! Greatest combo for wings!!! I was full, but couldn't stop eating them. Haha. The beef fried was pretty good, but with a tad bit more salt -- it would've been perfect!! But still good. It did come with a drink. Food was good but I feel little cheated... I ordered to pick up and I got french fries instead of fried rice that I was expecting. It clearly states fried rice with combo but supposedly they give u french fries if you dont ask for it... How was i suppose to know that as a first time customer... Though I wanted both sides, I had to pay extra for the fried rice, which costs more... Lesson here is to remember to tell them fried rice next time, when ordering combo. Besides this, food was great. There was nothing lemon or pepper about these wings. I usually make my own lemon pepper wings (butter, freshly squeezed lemon juice, freshly cracked black pepper, hint of garlic power) - but I still came in with low expectations. The wings are very small, about 1/3 of what a normal wing is at other places. We ordered online and the menu is a bit confusing in that it requires you to make some choices that you may not want and does not explain what "wet" and "soft" mean. In addition, we ordered 2 orders of egg rolls (which according to the menu would be 4 rolls total) and they only gave us one order. Better wings at Wing Stop or Buffalo Wild Wings. I would not go back here simply because of the size of the wings. read more

Atlanta based local wing joint that seemingly has Wing Stop in its cross hairs. Wings with all the flavors, with a variety of other food (gyro, philly). I can't imagine anyone gets anything other than the wings. Their website says they use medium wings on purpose to get the right ratio of sauce to meat. I'd say the winds are more smallish, but I see what they mean. Small wing means you get a mouthful of flavor from the sauce and crispy chicken skin, and not just a hunk of white wing meat. The sauce is pretty good actually, tried the hot and honey hot (really couldn't tell the difference). Bold and tangy like a buffalo wing should be. Fried rice is offered with the wings, which some may feel is odd but it hails probably from all the Chinese takeout joints that serve wings and/or korean/Chinese owned fast food joints that served a little bit of everything. True rice was plentiful but I found it just average. Soggy looking and lacking real flavor. But the wings are good and would give Buffalo Wild Wings and Wing Stop a run for their money read more

I called ahead (a good hour and half before closing time) to place a take-out order over the phone but the owner curtly declined and said "you come here to place take-out order" and when I went into the store, another employee said they DO take orders over the phone. The place closes at 9:30pm, yet when customers were coming in at 9pm to order, he was sarcastically passing comments that they came so soon to order. The order was ready in 5 minutes, and the food was lukewarm, meaning they had given me a batch of wings fried some time ago. Co-workers and I were craving some wings so we made our way over to Wings 101. I ordered a 10pc combo with fries and a drink for $9.49. I couldn't decide if I wanted hot wings or just lemon pepper so I got half and half for no additional fee. The guy at the register was SO FRIENDLY. He just had this genuine smile on his face that made me happy. I love seeing people that are just genuinely happy and not shooting me a fake smile. My food came out quick and hot- especially my fries. I made the comment to my co-worker that the fries lacked salt but she mentioned they don't salt them so you can add whatever amount of salt you'd like. For the most part the wings were yummy. I was worried they would be small but they were actually meaty. The lemon pepper wings were okay. They tasted kind of sweet so that threw me off. My co-workers both got wings with fried rice. It seemed like a great deal to get fried rice with wings for $10.99 because they give a lot. I didn't hear any complaints from them. They have the normal coke products available as well as sweet tea, lemonade and peach drink. They have a 83 report card with a ServSafe certificate which adds 2 points to a restaurant report card.
