I specifically created a Yelp account just so I could give my honest review on this restaurant. Wing Zone is one of the best food places to go to if you're ever in the city of Redlands. It not only has some of the most flavorful wings I've ever had, but also some of the BEST customer service I've experienced in a while. In particular, the management (owners) are 2 of the nicest, most friendliest people I've recently had the pleasure of meeting during my first visit to Wing Zone. It's apparent they take pride in their family-owned restaurant, as they go above and beyond to serve fresh made food and provide high quality customer service. I had an awesome first experience at Wing Zone: As soon as I walked in I was immediately welcomed by a friendly smile. Once I approached the counter, I was then greeted by the nicest staff member who patiently guided me through the menu items and specials. I ended up ordering a variety of there wings and large fries. I had the boneless wings and tried the cool ranch (not great) and the garlic parm (okay) with sides of lemon pepper (it was SO salty I couldn't even use it) & hot shot. The breading on the chicken was hard (not crunchy, hard). I also had the fried pickles which were very soggy & sitting in a pool of oil. Decided to try this spot after we were craving some wings. We were pleasantly surprised! The shop was clean when we came and luckily it wasn't too busy when we arrived. Great ambiance , direct owner took my order and explained menu items aa well as the quality and freshness of there products. One thing that separates them from all the other hot wing franchises or restaurants is the freshness of there food. All there bone-in chicken wings are never frozen, delivered . The Buffalo Sauce was delicious, make sure to ask owner for the Garlic Reaper sauce(if you can handle the heat). Won first place at hot sauce competition and it tasted like it as well. Wayyyy better than the other wing places, the wings are always fresh, their sauces are delicious, and they have a better fountain drink selection than other spots. The service is always great the people here are really nice and definitely want to see the business succeed, I had a few conversations with the employees and I really like their attitude and approachability. The restaurant itself has seating and self serve fountain drinks as well as a nice bathroom and the entire place is well lit. I really like the place keep up the good work! I came in during lunch on Friday, there was only one person there but I was greeted immediately. My order was taken promptly. I am nosey so I chatted a bit and came to find out that one of the owners was taking orders and preparing on her own because her husband had been delayed while picking up supplies. He was there within 10 minutes of my arrival, after ordering and getting our drinks. All my questions were answered and my food was ready in a timely matter despite the fact that they had 3 customers before me plus a few online orders and Uber-Eats orders. The owners are so friendly and hospitable! The tenders are huge and delicious. We also a sandwich to go for my son and they threw in fries and mac and cheese just cuz I think they wanted to show appreciation for my patience, when in reality, it wasn't a thing because they were so friendly and accommodating. But seriously, who is going to say no to free delicious food?! This is our second time here. Last time we got a ton of wings and we loved all the flavors. One negative that I will say is that their "Hot" Nashville hot flavor isn't spicy enough. I want to be almost crying and hating myself the next day. But the flavor is amazing. I just need more heat. My wife and I thought we would try the new spot called WIng Zone in Redlands. We ordered on online. First thing I thought was weird was the fries came in a cup and was a small portion. So I ordered additional fries with voodoo seasoning. When the cashier told the price of $6 dollars and change I was taken back. But still got them thinking they must be great fries! But they were not!! We ordered 16 boneless piece meal with 8 garlic parm and 8 Thai chili flavored with original flavor fries. While inside people were asking for soda and all they serve is one Pepsi product , water, bottled tea. After getting home and plating the food my wife and I noticed a weird taste to are food. Awhile later we both ended up with a stomachache and an end to a nice night. It was continued through the night. Needless to say I would never go back and put myself through that pain and suffering again!!!
