I was almost denied service because I was wearing my old Planet Wings sweatshirt (at the time this happened, I wasn't working there for at least a year). I was on my way home from hanging out with friends and I decided to stop by and see how the food was. Walked in and the place looked like a complete ripoff of Planet Wings. I mean that as they had the same wall tiles, floors, colors, everything. Looked at the menu and saw the prices were cheaper by at least $1.50. I ordered a 10 piece boneless medium with regular fries and no drink. After I paid, someone that looked like the manager asked what PW store I worked at. I told him I hadn't work there in some time. He replied with, "Why get food here? Why not go there?" I didn't feel like explaining myself to him so I just sat down and waited for my food. Food came and they were original, not boneless. I only eat boneless wings, and it said on the reciept "BONELESS". I tell the girl that took my order that the food was wrong, and the guy interrupts and said that it was right, I ordered original. If I ordered original, why would I be saying its wrong and why would it say "BONELESS" on the reciept? He brings the food into the kitchen, and I'm forced to wait an hour for them to fix the mistake. No problem, I have time to spare. He brings my food out personally, and adds a large diet pepsi free of charge. I told him that wasn't necessary, but thank you anyways. He then continues to badger me with questions about how PW works: "What do you serve on Superbowl, how busy do you get, how much does the owner pay you, are your cooks here legally, etc." I say "I don't know, I don't work there, I'm just trying to eat." Wings were burnt and had wayyyyy too much sauce on them, fries were cold. I saw they had fried oreos, and I absolutely love fried oreos. So I decided to order some for the trip back home. I think it was like 5-7 in an order, so I get two orders. Like I said, I LOVE fried oreos. Got the food, started to walk out, almost forgot the drink so I turned back to get it. Manager asked me how the food overall was, I said it was okay but I had better. He had a grin on his face and said "Enjoy those oreos then." Left, walked out of view from the window, and found out he put raw dough into both containers. I walked back in, threw the food out, and thanked him for the wonderful hospitality (obvious sarcasm). I went in there with an open mind and empty stomach, left feeling sick due to burnt/cold food and no intention of ever returning. Wing World has become my favorite wing spot on Staten Island. Excellent wings i always get the Mango Habanero sauce for my wings. I try to visit when I'm in the area. I wish they would deliver to the South Shore of the Island. I'm hoping eventually they will open a spot on this side of the island. It would be excellent. Food was acceptable, but I was really taken back by the rudeness of the delivery driver. Generally, I like to tip with cash so I never charge it to the card. When the driver, an older balding gentleman, came to the door, he handed me the pick up slip, to sign, and immediately said "The tips not included in that" to which I replied "I know" and he repeated, "Yeah, the tip's not included." I gave him the tip anyway, but it was a really crappy representation of the business, considering I ordered through Eat24 and that was the only person I interacted with. read more

I would give this place no stars if I could. I placed an order on their website online and was told the order would be delivered between 30-45 minutes. That time came and went so I called up and asked how much longer it would be and this is where the BS started. They put me on hold and I heard in the background "oh there is an order online." The girl on the phone then proceeded to tell me that the order wouldn't be there 'for a while.' I asked if I had not called if they would have even known about the order which I already knew the answer to, which was no. I was then meet with a bunch of lies as I could hear their staff talking in the background about how they were putting in the order now, after I had already waited 45+ minutes. Meh not impressed at all. I heard the food was good and decided to order. I was excited to get their food but mmmm no everything except for the side stuff (fries, broccoli cheese bites, corn fritters which I'm sure were not home made, if I'm wrong about that I'm sorry) had little to no flavor. Even the wings were soggy and the buffalo sauce had a weird taste like it had been mixed with something. Tried this place for first time with a web order of 5 piece wings, a hero and 2 sides. Wait time says 20 minutes. No problem. I get there a few minutes early and my total is not the same as my web order bc the 10% coupon wasn't applied. I didn't say anything figuring hey, maybe you need to present the couple which I didn't have. So I paid for my food and waited. And waited. 30 minutes from my order placed I go to counter to ask if there was an issue with my order. Girl at counter rudely told me it's been 20 minutes. I didn't argue with her bc I had not gotten my food yet. I HAVE AN EMAIL from when I placed the order that has a time stamp! Customer service is everything in the food service industry - the owner of this place doesn't deserve such poor representation of customer service. This was the first time I ordered from here. Timing of delivery was great, delivery driver was very polite. I ordered the 5 piece chicken wings with honey chipotle sauce and the steak quesadilla. The wings were a nice size not too little like other places I've ordered from. My complaint about the wings is that there was very little sauce, other than that the wings were ok.
