The good: very friendly young man took my order. And the basic buffalo wing sauce is authentic tasting - a solid effort, tangy with a little kick (which you can turn up to inferno levels, apparently). It was cute to see a 10-11 yo kid in the kitchen saucing the wings and taking his role very seriously. Not sure what the labor dept. would say, but I'm not telling. Basically the rest, I'm afraid, is not so good. I asked, twice, for different sauces on different wing orders and they were all the same. In fact I had to repeat everything on the order several times. Register guy was nice, but seemed to have ADHD. A common problem everywhere these days; have you noticed having to repeat everything three times? The regular boned wings were ok - kind of hammered in the fryer, honestly. So a bit chewy. But much better than the boneless, which were mealy, industrial processed factory stuff straight out of a Sysco bag. Likewise with the mac bites. I thought I was ordering macncheese. No one informed me they were deep fried breaded things, which had an unpleasant chemically aftertaste. True junk food. The fries were way too salty and just ok. They didn't have crudités celery or carrots, so I had to cut those myself at home. The ranch sauce likewise I replaced with homemade. Not anywhere you really want to eat it in. It's all kind of run down, rough around the edges; not dirty, but seems geared for take out. Gave it a whirl. No, no and no! I've lived in this community for a while and have always wanted to try the wings cause are literally my favorite food. These chicken nuggets bites were very disappointing. The picture showed them saturated with sauce and baked very well when I got them it looked like they had gotten a bunch of nuggets from Sam's club or some place and fried them up and they came dry and hard with no sauce at all and only two ranch dressing in the bag which I didn't need. I wanted the buffalo boneless as advertised! The fries and poppers as well looked like they had just been unfrozen and cooked. I will never order from here again and the so called cheese cake was hot little bread bites with some kind of filling inside. I have no idea what this is and again they put chocolate sauce in a little cup. So this was not at all cheesecake as advertised. Opening the bag, a lot of the smaller bags and boxes were almost wet due to condensation from the hot food. I ordered the regular size of the boneless wings in BBQ sauce with ranch for dipping. My partner for the 12 wing meal of bone-in wings in the mild sauce with blue cheese and ranch for dipping. The 10 oz of wings for the regular was a lot, so I wasn't able to finish all of them. The sauce also taste more like a sauce in Asian cuisine, as opposed to BBQ. The sauce was still good, but not what I expected. My partner said the mild sauce was just as good as mine, but his wings were super small. Overall, a good enough place when we occasionally crave wings, but still want to try other places. I have mixed feelings about Wing Slingers. I came here mainly because it's right next to DFL where I volunteer. The guy who took my order was friendly and professional, and my order of 12 wings was projected to be ready in 15-20 minutes. There was plenty of parking in the lot, and I walked inside. Love the arcade games (closed for COVID) but the place smelled funny. There was a dirty feeling around the booth seating and jukebox in the main room, as well as the guy preparing my food with a massive beard. Pretty sure there's a health code violation somewhere. The wings themselves were tiny, but the sauce was good, and the price was reasonable. I was full by the time I finished my meal, so that was a good sign. Overall I'm down to support small businesses, but I'm not sure if I would come back or recommend them to anyone else. I still think about the funky smell that might be a combination of all their marinades. I'm grateful that they're conveniently located in this shopping center but will likely fulfill my cravings for hot wings elsewhere! read more

Not a fave. Me and Denver aren't meshing when it comes to finding good wings to eat. This place was near a job I was visiting so I figured what the heck lets give it a shot. Checked Yelp and saw there weren't stellar reviews for them but went ahead anyway. Ordered 20 wings with 10 mild and 10 that were supposed to be Thai chili flavored. Didn't have any issues with service as some reviews brought up, the folks working were nice. Wings themselves were nothing special just another variant of previously frozen and over cooked wings. The mild were decent. The Thai chili on the other hand just tasted like straight up curry and rather salty. Totally inedible. My bad choice but their bad sauce, tasted NOTHING like ANYTHING I've ever had that was Thai chili flavored. Traffic in the area is a nightmare due to construction but that isnt their fault, just an aside if u are thinking of heading that way. There was only 2 other customers in the store. I was the 3rd. Worked kept cussing about customers and how shitty it was and everytime the door bell would ring and a customer walks in they get mad. First off you only get a choice of pop or soda, whatever you want to call it, no fountain drinks and no beer second, the wings are so tiny and the flavor just wasn't amazing, the lemon pepper is overly salty, the Buffalo is decent, and do not get the Asian Thai, horrible flavor. The fries are not crispy, probably just from a bag. We read good reviews, but now I'm thinking it's because people wanted free dessert. Save your money and go to Wing Hut. Best wings in Colorado!
