It's exactly what you would expect it to be, and nothing more. Tables and floors are little dirty, because why wouldn't they be? Chicken wings are a messy business. Their wings are on the small side, but pretty meaty nevertheless. They have a great selection of sauces too. The sauces don't taste as good as they could however. Though, it is cool how they have their own beer available for purchase. That's probably the one thing that I think makes this place stand out. We had a wing shack delivery order. It may have perhaps been the worst wing order we ever had! The order was for over $100. The wings were very small with virtually no sauce. I had no flavor of hot sauce we ordered. The waffle fries were mostly crumbs and small pieces with 2 whole waffle fries to the order. We ordered diet Pepsi, which was completely flat with no carbonation at all, and could not drink it. So normally I'm very happy with the service I get at The Wing Shack. Not today. Today I ordered the corn dog meal which comes with a refillable drink. I let the cashier know I didn't need a cup because I had my own. He then tells me he needs to charge me for a full price drink on top of the drink that comes with the corn dog meal because of my cup. I drink tea. Which is basically water. And they regularly waste the tea at the end of the night. The last time I was here the cashier just charged me for a refill. And the last time I got the corn dog meal, that cashier just didn't give me a cup. So I got charged for a large tea but didn't use their cup and got charged for the kid cup which I also did not take from their stock. Basically I should have just taken the kid sized cup, put the tea in that cup and then dumped it into my cup until it was full and then wasted that cup when I was done. This makes me feel like Wing Shack has taken the stance of not welcoming people who use reusable cups. That makes me sad and will affect my future decision on where to eat the next time I'm out. The food is good. They are the best wings but being charged extra money makes me forget that. read more

Great wings! I ordered a pick up of 15 wings, 3 different flavors. Golden Hot was my favorite - very flavorful and subtle spicy that heats up as you eat more. Although the most popular flavor recommended by the guy on the phone was Garlic Hot, I found it pretty good, but not as good as Golden Hot. I also got the regular Hot flavor and I enjoyed it as well. As you can see I lurve hot wings. Parking situation is a little bit inconvenient because you pull right into the lot from a busy street, so backing out can be a pain. The service is friendly and attentive. Be sure to call in 15-20 minutes in advance because they make your wings fresh. My only complaint would be some of the wing sizes can vary a lot. I got a 2-3 in the bunch that were the size of my pinky finger...BUT they gave me extra because of the tiny pieces, so props to you Wing Shack!! read more

First time eating wings from here. Loved it!!! My son said they were great, so we tried them. I'm originally from Buffalo, NY. (The wings back home are phenomenal.) I have to say that these are right up there with them. The Bear Hot are delicious and spicy and the Golden hot are also spicy with a buttery hot flavor. Never been to Wing Shack before, but I ended up in Greeley today at lunchtime. It was busy so maybe that was part of the problem. It's also counter service only and minimal seating. The sauces I tried were the Thai and the Parmesan Garlic. I expected the Thai to have a little spice and the other to have a good flavor blend. The sauces were just mediocre. The ranch dressing was so watered down that the flavor had changed and it would barely stay on the food. I saw a seated customer ask for extra napkins. The employee pointed to a dispenser on the front counter, almost within her reach, and tell him that he could get more there. She did not hand him any, even though she was right beside the dispenser. I couldn't see a trash can to bus my own table, so I carried my trash up to the counter and asked. A different employee said "it's around the corner" and just look at me for a few seconds before she realized what was going on and took it from me. I talked to a general worker and he was kind but did not know what coupon I was speaking of on the phone, so I asked for the manager hoping they would have known. The managers name was Tanner and he immediately assumed that I had called previously and cussed on the phone during the conversation about the coupon. These are the best wings I've ever had! As I tell people: "the Garlic Hot wings will change your life! I just love these wings! The fries are awesome! The homemade Ranch dipping sauce is great! I especially like that I can custom order my wings! I usually get "all flats" (no drumsticks, just the wing portion), and have them cooked extra crispy! Getting Wing Shack is never a bad idea! Also, the manager of this location, Ryan Regan, is one of the best people I know! He does a fantastic job of making this place run like a machine! Ryan is also just a great guy! I love love love Wing Shack. Their wings, sauce options, and fries are excellent. You have an option of as hot as you want (they call it Bear Hot, I call it Devil's Spit). Their food is hot, beer is cold. Prices ain't bad. Now, the reason they lost a star: Calling in an order to the 8th Ave location is tantamount to talking to the great wall of China. You call, they ask you to hold, someone else picks up and asks you to hold, and on and on. The 8th Ave location is small, and loud. They need either A) a dispatch center to take all the orders from a quiet location or B) a phone booth that is sound proofed. Love the wings, hate the building. Service is good and the employees are more than happy to answer questions that may arise. We had 5 different flavors and every one of them was one I'd love to try again. I really can't say enough good about the place and I don't have any complaints from my visit. My son and I got the big meal special thing. We're both big fellas and we had wings to take home when we were done. The whole thing included 2 large drinks, basket of fries, and 25 wings (we chose the boneless) that could be flavored differently in groups of 5. No shortage of sauce, either; they're slathered in the stuff! Bottom line is that you need to try it out for yourself. They've got several different options, so if you like your wings mild you can have it, if you like your wings ridiculously hot they've got Bear Hot that will burn you up.
