YUM!!!! We are so excited to have this restaurant coming into Colorado! We are so excited, we drove to Greeley from Loveland just to eat here and we were not disappointed. First, they have like 13 different chicken salad recipes as well as pimento cheese and egg salad.They also have yummy sides, like broccoli salad and grape salad. And the Watermelon iced tea was amazing! They offer a meal called The Chick, where you choose a chicken salad scoop or sandwich, soup or one side, and it comes with a small frosted cookie. You can replace the side with another chicken salad scoop. And you can add a scoop to the meal for $2. So basically, you can get three different scoops of chicken salad, one on bread or a croissant. We did this 3 scoops option and took two scoops home for our lunches. Between us, we tried 6 flavors and they were all delicious!!! They also let you sample any flavors you want to try before ordering. My favorite so far is the Fancy Nancy with grapes, apples and pecans. My husband's is the lemon basil. All of the favors were yummy and not too overpowering. My husband got the BBQ one and it was yummy too. Several of the flavors are quite manly in my opinion, lol: BBQ, Buffalo, and there's a bacon/cheddar/ranch one too. All three of those would be amazing party dips! The atmosphere is cheerful and comfortable. The dining space is divided into two sections, each with a row of tables and a row of booths. This location also has a drive through! And they sell the salads and sides in larger containers to go too! The bathrooms are cute/funny and are labeled "Chicks" and "Chick Magnets". My husband took pictures to show me of the signs in the men's bathroom that are all about it being OK for men to be there too, lol. We can't wait for the one in Johnstown to open!!! read more

This place is great! I am a huge chicken salad lover and Chicken Salad Chick does not disappoint. I've gone through the drive thru only so I can't speak on the ambiance of the restaurant. However, my drive thru experience has been amazing. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I love the Chicken Salad BLT and I always choose the Kickin Kay Lynne flavor. It is so good. I recommend not getting your sandwich on a croissant because they are kind of small and the chicken salad is thick so I feel like it doesn't go well. I recommend trying it on the other bread. We were looking for something quick over by Scheels and saw Chicken Salad Chick! I had forgotten that it recently opened! My husband was excited that they let you mix and match the chicken salad flavors, and he loves his sandwich. I was disappointed that you can't add anything to the chicken salad. I really like pecans, but not fruit in my salad. The only way to get pecans is with the fruit version, and only one option has onions - so I felt that was really limiting. But the chicken salad was tasty - flexibility would be awesome and make me feel more that it was being prepared fresh? Maybe it isn't and they can only serve what is premade? I also tried the chicken tortilla soup - it was ok, I wasn't expecting creamy but it did have good flavor :) read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a very long time and after a very long trip up to Greeley I was left underwhelmed. The people and service is great. They were really friendly. I didn't go inside, instead I opted to use the drive through but it looked like it was pretty busy inside. I wanted to try out a variety of things so I chose the trio which includes a scoop or sandwich of any chicken salad or pimento cheese, plus either a soup, side item, or another scoop of a chicken salad or pimento cheese. The trio let's you choose an additional scoop. I tried the kickin' kay lynne on a croissant, then a scoop of the classic carol and a scoop of the regular pimento cheese. Don't get me wrong - it was good, but nothing out of this world sadly! Everything was pretty bland and I wasn't sure what made the chicken salads so special. This has been my go to place for the past couple of months since is on the lighter side and doesn't make me want to take a nap after eating. It feels like home made food your mom or grandma would make. It's comforting, delicious, healthy, and I love that they give you a cookie! This is a good option if you are out and about, don't care to eat fried food or the like and enjoy chicken salad. The chicken salad is freshly made and not overly dressed with mayonnaise. If you opt for a sandwich, I recommend getting a second scoop to fill out the sandwich. It is otherwise overly bready without enough of the good stuff in between. Or, better yet, skip the bread altogether. The folks here are very kind. There is a drive thru if that matters to you. The service was very quick as nothing needs to be cooked to order. okay, I am really in to chicken salad right now so naturally I thought this place is great. the only problem is I ordered a sandwich and side for my daughter and a different sandwich and side for myself but when I got home they were exactly the same so they made a mistake. it was good but not what I ordered and I still want to give them 5 stars, go figure. the sandwich if really good. I also got broccoli soup and it's ok but Panera Bread broccoli soup is better. I recommend this place. next time I will check my order before I leave there. read more
