I love Taste of Philly in Greeley! They set the standard (at least locally) for Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches, from the nearly-ideal rolls inward. They also offer a variety of additional sandwiches, entrees, and dessert items, of which our favorites are the Italian canoles. Alas, as a part of the larger chain, it would be nice if the chain's Taste of Philly app actually knew about this location to allow remote orders. The web site does connect, but it is much less usable from the road. That said, I'm still a fan and regular customer. read more

Feb 10. I was nearby, it was after two and I hadn't eaten all day and had been wanting to get back to TOP for sometime. And I even had a five dollar off coupon so I thought this was my opportunity to enjoy a great Philly cheese steak sandwich. The place is mostly clean, the service is great and the food is good. I appreciate the genuine effort to provide anything that might make the dining experience special. The food is great, but I really wish they had hand cut fries. I get an amazing sandwich of great quality, it just looks so out of place next to skinny frozen bagged fries. We were able to walk here from the Airbnb we were staying at and pick up some food to take back. They kept apologizing for how long the food was taking after we ordered, but I thought it was just the time you would expect to make food from scratch. Everything we ordered was good with large portions and lots of meat. My wife had the meatball sub, and it was a big sub with good tasting meatballs and sauce. I got The Works, which was good overall. It did have so much meat on it that I really felt that it could have used more cheese, as the cheese got lost in the rest of the toppings. My daughter ordered the grilled cheese on the kids menu. She got a ham and cheese instead, which we did not discover until we bit into it back at the house. It's a good thing she likes ham, as that could have been a problem for our picky eater otherwise. We also ordered onion rings, which were good and crunchy. They did not include any ketchup and we did not think to grab any before we left. Unfortunately, the Airbnb didn't have any either, and so we ate them dry. read more

Delicious! My sister's family and I picked up lunch from here to take to Glenmere Park for a picnic and it was better than we could have hoped! I got a kick out of the upside-down bug out front and my niece and nephew loved the little M&M dispenser they had inside. The restaurant was clean and there were only a few people in there eating lunch, so it was quiet. They got our food out to us quickly, but still it was clearly freshly made to order. We ordered 3 cheesesteak sandwiches and a large order of fries (which fed all 5 of us with some to spare!). We got an original cheesesteak for the kids to share, a large "The Works" for my brother-in-law (which he loved), and my sister and I shared a large "Pepper Philly." Oh my heavens! The quality of food keeps varying. My sandwich today was not made the way I asked and I ended up not tasting the meat YET AGAIN! I miss the old Taste of Philly and will not be ordering from here again. Once is an accident twice is uncalled for. 2 out of 3 times my sandwich has had issues with being too hot and not being able to taste the meat. The bread was not as soggy as the first time and was not as dry as the second time which the second time I liked my sandwich. I even told them how to make it the second time and this time as well. Please revert back to the former Green Chile recipe as the new one sucks. People shouldn't burn their mouth on their food. Very, very, very, very, VERY, VERY disappointing. read more
