Service was great. Chill vibes. Come here for an Obama damn near everyday.. THE DAQUIRIS ARE WORTH THE TRIP!

I was greeted with great music, super nice employees with such a delight smile on every one of their faces, the people sitting in the restaurant were all super nice everyone was chatting and laughing. This is a great little spot to pop into, vibe to the music, have some great food and of course have a little drink. I have just moved around the corner and I definitely will be a regular here! Do doubt about that. Thanks Wing Quarter! read more

Food is always good and well seasoned . Customer Service is always great . We have been here twice in that last 2 weeks .

The environment was probably my favorite part, it was cold outside and as soon as you walk in you smell some amazing aromas and it was the perfect temperature. As soon as you walk in you stand in a long line and make an order at the register, then hopefully you can find you a seat and wait for them to call your NAME or NUMBER. I got a 5pc southern fried creole wings with a side of red beans, boudin with crackers. The food was pretty decent, I feel like I should've picked an actual flavor for my wings and I would've enjoyed them a lot more! The red beans had onions or like peppers in them and that was new to me... so it wasn't my favorite. The FISH & SHRIMP look AMAZING I will be back to give that a try and then I'll update my review! read more

Wing Quarter - Big Zulu (I ate most of it before photo) it was GOOD! - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Houston, Texas

Not only is the music jamming, but the customer service is banging. Customer service is amazing. The food is awesome.

I can't stop visiting this place!!! Each and every time, I order the same thing and my addiction is very sad :( but oh so delicious :) My order: Wing Quarter Special with Southern Creole fried as the wing flavor. The fries are perfect; I hope they never change the recipe. The wings are incredible with lots of flavor and fried just right. Get this-- the boudain balls are actually boudain and NOT dirty rice! The assortment of alcoholic beverages are also very good and strong-- you can even take them to-go. Now for the "bad": - Parking is sometimes horrendous. There's a lot of traffic in this parking lot due to the other yummy establishments, but, I believe they've purchased the lot next door so hopefully it gets better. - Unfortunately, their customer service is some of the worst I've ever experienced. The employees are very dry and act like you owe them something. I've been here more than 10 times at various times/days and I'm never treated nicely. I've experienced some very petty and rude treatment here. If the owner wants to keep their doors swinging, they need to hire new staff. Do not "train" the current ones-- get new staff!!!!!!!! Preferably, former Chick-fil-A employees. - Operations need to be tweaked. The cashiers hold up the line and increase customer wait times by 15+ minutes at a time. I witnessed one cashier ring up indecisive customers for 10 minutes then proceed to make their "special " mixed drinks for another 10 minutes before even acknowledging other customers in the line that was nearing out the door. Several customers left in the process but I had already placed an order online. Owner, you lost about $200 in that 20 minute period smh. Please get better employees. - The soft drink cups are wayyy too small for the price. - The online ordering system needs a lot of work. read more

I love wing quarter there Mardi Gras special is 5 wings and fries that's what I always get! My favorite flavor is the big easy sweet heat flavor, this is a sweet and spicy sauce that is added to their big juicy wings. Plus the boudin balls are amazing. If you want to drink and eat they have daiquiris that hit the spot every time ! read more

So Highly disappointed I wanted to try them so bad. First off Please greet your customers when they enter a establishment. Next if you are taking orders make it look like you want the customers money, be polite about it and speak up. So this is my first time coming here and I was sooo angry I couldn't even see straight. Why am I asking for a sized bowl display of the Decatur street special (red beans and rice) and that was hard for her l to explain so I just asked for another small one. She told me "its enough for one person" and showed me a bowl and said "it look like this" ugh I'm small but I eat for two I also ordered Nola special so My order came out to $43 dollars and I paid it... no problem right well as soon as it hit approve I was told that they was out of red beans for a couple of hours WOOOOW and the lady at the counter that took my order didn't know it and how long it was going to take, but she was eating in my face before I approached the counter because she put her food down and asked me was I going to order!!!!!!! Nope I'm not happy at all I need to be called by the company and get a good explanation for the employee..... I wanted to try it sooooooo bad read more

Wing Quarter - Nothing I got my money back - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Houston, Texas

I will have to admit the girls up front were rude and dismissive. Food took a long time to came out. Customers Service horrible! Female at register told us she was not owner didn't make the menu. Was advised to contact the owner. After a long wait for what the menu had a picture of a sampler platter was told it's only a picture but not for sale. I was hoping the food would make up for the bad service but it did not. I had the Zydeco Special (Gumbo) it was ok. I also had wings they where good. I also had one of their frozen daiquiris and was really please with the size and taste. Beer was at less cold as well. read more

Wing Quarter - Wings, Boudain balls, fries - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Houston, Texas

I've gone to this place here and there and even ordered Uber eats. They've always been consistent with their drinks and some food. Customer service has always been ify but I've been satisfied for the most part. Today (1/3/21) I was greeted and had exceptional service by an employee. She sold me on some drinks ever so politely and I bought them both and left her a tip. Everyone is frustrated right now. Remember It's also how you talk to and treat people. She was kind so I was kind back. For those who can be rude, be the bigger person and walk away. Definitely coming back! read more

Since my last review this place has hired nicer staff. The young lady who took my order was sweet and professional! Only reason I don't give 5 stars yet is because I hope they continue to get nice, respectful, and most of all professional staff. Only time will tell. Also, wings are still bomb!!!! Those get 5/5! read more

Good food....fries need more seasoning!!! Will definitely come again to try other flavors! Better than the business on its adjacent corner for SURE!! read more

Parking is VERY tight/limited. Customer service was friendly. Food was reasonably priced. I ordered the honey BBQ 10-piece bone-in wings. The wings were big, wet (plenty of sauce), and good. **I have a palate for sweet moreso than spicy, so I didn't like the sauce too much bc it was more spice than honey (sweet). However, I KNOW if that doesn't matter to you - you'd LOVE their wings! I'll definitely be back!! read more

I was hoping to have a pleasant experience and be able to leave a good review but I was greatly disappointed. I'll start with the positive by stating that the cashier that took my order showed a great level of customer service. She was polite and more than willing to help me place my to-go order despite the fact that I couldn't makeup my mind. I finally decided on the Mardi Gras Special. Now to the downside. Parking far from the best but minor issue depending on the time you're going and how busy it is. Now the food- It was so-so. The dirty rice wasn't bad. However, the five parts of the wings I received were all flats/wingettes, not a single drumette. The flavor was lacking (Caribbean Delight). The gentleman that gave me my order said it was due to a lot of special orders. That shouldn't matter. Unless a person specifically makes a request to only receive a partial part of the wing, only. I also had to ask him for my celery and blue cheese. I got the blue cheese but no celery. In food service you need to have standards and consistency otherwise you'll set your business up for failure. I'm not a big fan of Wing Stop but if I had to compare I would eat their wings over Wings Quarters. Especially if I'm paying almost $10 for 5 pieces of wings and fries or dirty rice. Conclusion: I won't give them a second try. The first poor experience was enough. There are too many food places in Houston to eat at and more keeps popping up. First impressions really counts when it comes to food. Thanks for the friendly service but that's about it. read more

Manager was despicable. Fries were cold and I asked nicely for fresh ones and she scolded me like a child. Not to mention cooks were pissed because I asked for fresh fries. Had a whole conversation about it as if o couldn't hear them. She had dandruff in her hair with no hairnet Cashier also mentioned that manager was unprofessional and harassed them. Wings not good Kitchen dirty. I highly suggest you run. I'm heartbroken as this is a Black owned business. read more

The food is DELICIOUS. The portions are big. The people are nice. The prices are low. The drinks are strong and tasty. What else do you want? It is a small place that moves fast. There are 5 tables and 5 TVs playing sports. The beer selection is strong in bottle & draft and they have 3 great daiquiri choices. The daiquiris are very NAWLINS! Even the artwork is great. I like the paintings. read more

2nd time visiting. First time ;order was incorrect. When addressed to the managers; the male was acceptive to my concern, but the short skinny female manager had a attitude. This visit, I was not greeted, the same female manager sat next to me eating and still didn't speak or thank me for the business. Funny a customer came in and stated he wasn't going to come back because no one ever speaks. I replied, " I was thinking the same thing", still no response! Wing Quarter - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Houston, Texas

Ahh Wing Quarter, you let me down this time. This isn't my first time at Wing Quarter, but it's my first time there during a busy Friday night rush crowd. I'm hoping that's the reason, although, not an excuse, but I hope that's the reason my good taste and looked so terrible on this visit. It was busy, packed, and a lot of stuff was going on. Maybe, hopefully, I just got the one bad order they had all night, but either way, I did not enjoy my food one bit. When I ordered they asked for my name and phone number to text me when my food was ready, a sign in the front said the food would be ready between 8-12 minutes... minutes passed, maybe 25, I left, went and picked food up from 2 other places, came back and still hadn't received a text. Went back inside and checked on my food, still hadn't been called. After a while they called my name, food looked to just be sitting there. The woman who called my name didn't even look towards me as I raised my ticket in the air, just walked off and started doing something else. I told the cashier that the woman had called my name, but didn't look up to bring the food and he told me I had to walk down the bar where people were sitting and eating and basically hover behind them to receive my order, even though I had seen him bring others their food to the front counter. When he opened the containers to show me the food, it looked dry and disgusting but I had already paid and had been waiting for what seemed like forever, and had other people's food in the car waiting so I just took the dry/sat out wings and hoped they would taste better than they looked. They definitely tasted and looked the same, disgusting. I didn't finish the first one, just threw them away. I tried to eat the green beans, and I don't know which was worse, I ate maybe 2 bites and got upset with myself for even trying, so those also went to the trash. I've eaten here once or twice before, the food isn't the best, but it's much better than I tasted tonight. It was late, many places were closed, but I know next time not to waste my Friday night meal on wing Quarters. read more

Wing Quarter - Hypnotiq Daiquiri. My fav! - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Houston, Texas

I have tried most of the wing spots in Houston- Dream, Pluckers, etc and there's no way those places are as good as here. All 3 have nice plump wings, but the flavors here really stand out. None of the wings are soggy (can't say the same about Dream), the service is quick, they have sports TVs, and the slushy drinks are great. Highly recommend read more

Wing Quarter has been a regular spot for me since I've moved to the 3rd ward. (Originally from New Orleans) what drew me in were the Nola inspired dishes and daiquiris but the past few times I've ordered have been a complete disappointment. In my opinion the amount of food that's given is not worth the price and the quality of food has also gone down. The last 2 times I've purchased, part of my order was wrong and when I went back they told me they didn't have the item in stock. It's unfortunate, but I probably won't order from them again. read more

Sad to say, but it's hard to support businesses who don't take criticism from paying customers. Secondly if you are the owner of this place please hire a new manager she don't understand customer service, without your business will not thrive. Now to the food I called in my order they texted me and I came in. I received my food then left . I got home and the 10 piece I ordered only had drummets , no flats. Then I got to the fries they must have just pulled them out of the icebox because they where super cold. I called back to the place and ask for the manager instead of her apologizing she came up with all the wrong things to say. "Well we cant control what wings Come in the bag , " " the season on the fries are cayenne and season salt." The fries are nasty. And cold and the wings are sub par. So if you ever have a taste for good wings or food or good customer service , This is not the place. I was being nice with the 1 star. If you own this place you should consider customer service training for your management team because if not you all want be open long. Kind Regards, Unhappy customer P.S never again read more

So the greediness in me did not allow me to take a clean picture but I ordered the catfish and fries w/ 5 wings ‍ I'm going to eat my wings later but this food was very HOT and FRESH! A friendly environment and a gem... I tried them out from @mysouthernbrand on IG I go there for different food choice and I do not regret it one bit. This is the best tasting soul food catfish I've had in Houston and I've been here close to 6 years I love fish and it's only 12 bucks for a lot of food to much to be exact! While searching for daiquiris this place was across the street from where I was. We got there (party of 6) around 945, not knowing they closed at 10. The girl at the front was extremely rude and was clearly annoyed at us, but when a dude came in after us ordering she was nice and friendly to him. We ordered at the counter and asked if we could eat it there and she informed us they would be closed by the time it was ready instead of asking us if we'd like to sit down when we first got there. Really if someone comes in at 958 you are supposed to serve them, dine in, carry out whatever. read more

My expectations were low after reading some of the reviews but I was blown away by the service and food quality. The waitresses were attentive, prompt, and generally warm. The wings were hot and crispy, and full of flavor which we all know is the holy trinity of good wings. The Cajun fries were a bit spicy for my taste, but I'm sure most can handle the heat. Bonus Star: I went during rush hour on Fat Tuesday and my rave review still stands. read more

1st time I visited lasted night. I ordered the 10 piece lemon pepper winger and a fountain drink. I thought everything was going well until I sat down at the counter to wait for my food and a ROACH crawled on the counter!!!! By boyfriend killed the roach yuck... I wanted to leave at the point. Then I watched the girl at the register ring up customers, I noticed she was handling the money and grabbed folks straws and placing it in their drinks without using a glove or napkin.. I saw her scratching her head and eating candy out of that same hand that she used to grab folks straws. The need a separate person on the register and a separate person working drinks. Before we left my boyfriend went to use the bathroom and he noticed another ROACH!! They need to shut down and exterminate immediately. The wings we good though. read more

My husband and I joined our friend group for a birthday brunch this past Sunday. The drinks that were available were good. Waiter said the bar had limited drinks because they were short staffed. The food was sub par and it was disappointing for the restaurant to not have SPOONS or BOWLS, yet serving gumbo, among other things on the menu, that require those necessities. There are dollar stores on every corner that could've provided a solution for that. The outdoor setup would have been perfect had the music been on a level that you could maintain a conversation. It was either blasting loudly or not on at all. Those that worked the shift said the music was too loud for them to place orders inside the restaurant so they stopped it altogether. WE love to try establishments and SUPPORT the community or small-businesses but I can't say I'll return. read more
