Making reservations on open table as quick and efficient. When we arrived, our tables put together and ready for us and we were sat immediately. A decent menu with good variety and fair pricing. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. My husband had the stacked turkey club sandwich and he thought it was delicious. I had the tuna poke nachos and the tuna was very good but the wonton nacho chips were stale tasting. I don't know if they were just left out for too long or if they were over fried, but that would be my only complaint. We chose to dine outside and watch the beautiful sunset with the cool breeze, brushing our faces while we sipped on our cocktails and enjoyed lively discussion. Since we had ordered simple appetizers like chips and queso and ceviche, it was a little disappointing that they weren't served first. When I asked about it, I was told the kitchen was backed up. Our server was pleasant, but she wasn't very attentive throughout the meal. There were a few times we had to get up and find her just to get drink refills or an update on our food. I completely understand that restaurants can have off days, and even the people I was dining with--who visit often and usually rave about this place--mentioned that this experience was out of the ordinary. His came with french fries as well. The mac & cheese brisket rollup was very delicious. The french fries were cooked to a crispy golden color just the right shade. I think if a thin slice of cheese were added to it, and I know this is a barbecue place, but a thin slice of cheese would have held the chunks of chicken onto the quesadilla. As it was, I had to hold it with both hands so that the meat wouldn't spill out everywhere. It was very good and I was able to bring a couple home for my lunch tomorrow. You get a pretty good amount of food for the price that you pay. And as I said before, you can get as many refills of tea as you want, there's no limit.
